    I'm a lazy human and Mymind is perfect to me because I don't want to waste time organizing things. It's very simple, save and search when you need.

    Thanks Lucas, I used your link to try my mind. I really am loving My Mind and this video is great in understanding it. I have been using mind maps for years and this is really a refreshing new program. I did subscribe to the paid version, and I think it is completely worth it.

    I’ll be getting this app. Looks intuitive and stands out from most. The serendipity mode looks cool.

      @@takebackmymind I will try this out. My concern off the top is the export option. A part of “My Mind” will be locked within a server that I will not have access too if monthly subscriptions are suspended, and there is this fear that I can not export my data outside of a desktop, which I don’t use. Yearly subscription is kind of high for what some people would mistakenly use as a storage app. However anything that gets the eye of Lucus, is something I have to look into. Apple Watch for text would also be nice. I think the hardest thing for me to grasp here is separating things that I want to remember from things that I want to do or task list. I’ll take a test drive. Thank you for responding.
      Ps. I see I could export files thank you

    Is there a way to import notes and articles from Evernote, Pocket, et al?

      Unfortunately not. It's kind of a deal breaker.

    Thanks Lucas for this extended interview! Interesting idea for an old structured folder person. I looked at their info. on their website and had some questions. I tried multiple contact us buttons, but none worked. Do you know a way to contact support? Not a good sign, I was ready to try your link.

    What data export format does MyMind support to extract my notes from the app?

    • @takebackmymind
      @takebackmymind Рік тому +1

      You can export your data at any time as a CSV file, which is the most commonly accepted type for exporting and importing to another tool if needed.

    Great presentation, Lucas. Is there an image upload functionality or just the Drag and Drop plus the web browser integration?

    • @takebackmymind
      @takebackmymind Рік тому +2

      You can drag & drop to upload anything on desktop, including images. On mobile, there's an upload button to upload straight from your Camera Roll, for example (or you can capture an image straight from the app). Hope you like it!

    Is MyMind suitable for storing notes with own knowledge? Like obsidian in a way

    • @takebackmymind
      @takebackmymind Рік тому

      Yes! Several ways to do this, whether you add it straight to a note in mymind, write a Mind Note within an existing card (to add more context to a video or image, for example) or add quick notes on the fly while saving something. We have our own philosophy around notes, be sure to watch our video on it :)

    when you searched "black dress" results included white dresses and white shoes though, why did you guys ignore or not mention if this is gonna be fixed or not!? it's a major if not the most important feature!!!!

    • @LucasPrigge
      @LucasPrigge  Рік тому +4

      That was a non-exclusive search. In other words, it searches for any match with "dress" OR (not AND) "black"
      The white shoes have a black Nike logo on them which is why they showed up.

    Does it works with other languages ?

    • @takebackmymind
      @takebackmymind Рік тому +4

      It currently supports English and other languages based on the Latin alphabet (although people still end up using it for non Latin-based languages without much issue). Expanding support for other languages is on our list!

      @@Ilikethesefastbits well I assumed op was referring to Google as the company rather than SSO as a whole. As for training models, I can’t comment as I don’t know and that’s fair to ask.
