Teams were required to wash the mud off their bikes before crossing the street in order to get to the haulers. San Francisco authorities made in very clear to all teams that they only allow fecal matter and used hypodermic needles on their streets.
How else can they justify all the taxpayers money they spend (line their pockets with) if they solve issues, or take money from the business leaving SF as fast as they can get a flight. Or thereabouts.
I find it funny that JS drops his post race analysis so late in the week, when all other podcasts are done, so then JS comes out and just smokes all of them with supreme knowledge. Imagine if he dropped on Sunday morning how many of the others that just would copy cat him 🤣🤣🤣! Keep up the great work 💯
these videos should have over 100k views. He’s basically getting the same amount of viewers as the audience that attends races. We’re trying to grow the sport
James hopefully you understand how much you help parents to just chill out and enjoy the very short amount of time we have for our kids to be young silly and wild with a loving heart, YOU are helping moto Dads chill out and have fun on the journey of parenting a moto kid! Blessings to you and your family ❤🙏
He also lapped Webb and Anderson. This is a basically meaningless race that wasn't even really a SX. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I guarantee you a top GNCC rider would have been in the top 10 in this race, whereas they'd never even qualify for a normal SX.
No scheduled race is meaningless theirs points on the line, sx same as mx you race whatever nature throws at you, all due respect to gncc riders but they would not even qualify for this they ride through trees roots and rocks
German chocolate is just... the best nickname ever! not only the nick itself... but how you pronounce it, its hilarious!! keep it up JS7, you're the cool guy here
So awesome. James keeps the sport exciting, cool to see the kids in moto gear, almost brought a tear to my eye, You made my childhood awesome thanks JS7 Goat.
Why is that? I don’t get why people are happy that they are lapped? Both the boys are very humble and mature. Glad to see sexton, tomac and Kenny on podium also. Everyone is still in the hunt for the crown!!
@@exnylonlad1314 like I said nothing against them. They’re great more so Jett than hunter. But all the talk about them is getting annoying. It’s almost how ESPN is obsessed with lebron James.

J brings the knowledge of the races and comedy and entertainment to the events!!!!!!
"you dont have to move a lot, but you need to be able to move quickly" is great mud racing advice. I race hare scrambles (woods racing) and I've noticed that to be true
It was a mudder!!! One question was answered. Jett hasn't got it all figured out exactly. He also didn't sound like it was that upsetting so I look for him to be back in form this week. Nice seeing the kids wrecking shop, lol.
He wasn’t to fussy about 9th, everyone laughing at him saying he isn’t that good, it was a mudder, the great equaliser, he will be back full on at SD, a dangerous Jett is a losing Jett.
I agree about the stiff suspension on Jetts bike. Also, the hole shot device was causing havoc also. Eli has lost a little of that killer instinct, not all of it, just a little bit of it. Jett should have rode the same suspension as he did in the 22 mxon he rode that mudder great. You know Seattle will probably be a mudder, and we will have another one on the East Coast also.
22mxon suspension would be almost nothing like this. Mxon was still jumping. People were stick hitting laroccos leap. It was MUCH dryer than this. The track was still fast at mxon.
do you think they even had that at the SX? (not sarcastic) The first thing that came to mind when JS7 pointed out the suspension was "that's weird. Jett is actually famous for being super smooth and rolling obstacles that everyone else pounds into. And then Kieffer rode his bike and couldn't get over how plush it was (very european like kenny's)." it had me scratching my head, and then the obvious difference. finally came to mind: that was his MX setup they tested (as was the MXdN). Everyone's SX is incredibly stiff. Anyway, not having the MX forks might be a thing. I know a lot of riders were iffy about Charlotte and Chicago SMX races so they brought both sets, and others were really pissed at Charlotte b/c they didn't have both and they all ended up switching over to MX (i think?). iunno. makes sense. no idea if it's accurate. cheers.
Great breakdown of how Jett handled the mud. Haven't seen anyone else pointing out, now youve said it, obvious bike setup which was far too stiff. Stew da greatest ✌
I forgot how fun these were to watch. The TRUE TRUE mud messes. One was RC and James crawling around passing everyone, Reed did not do bad. Forget what year that was. Daytona and Reed leading till last lap stuck. And a few others that really end up EPIC races.
Jett had a 'bad hair day'. Keeps it all nice and tight and mud is a dice game. Before the season kicked of it was my tip that six riders, at least, will win a supercross final moto. 2 down and four to go heading into the last 15 supercross events.
The ending was great 😂 cool to involve your kids. But yeah heard Eli was pissed after the first race and went back to his old setup 🤷🏻♂️ see at the next race
I read somewhere someone was saying why the teams don’t carry enduro setups for races like this. You can’t beat Mother Nature but you can adapt I thought It wasn’t dumb any thoughts ?
Good pick-up about the tall suspension on Jett's bike. In those conditions no one is jumping big, just like a French GP in mud and the suspension has to be softer, like Andre Malherbe's '84 RC500.
maybe Jett or someone at HRC thought the taller bike set up would prevent him from loosing traction in the deeper ruts. if so, that backfired on them big time.
Johnny Hopper mentioned that a bunch of people wrecked at the holeshot because the holeshot devices were locked in still at the first corner making it much harder for the suspension to work.
@rickrossi4468 in normal conditions pretty much everyone does, in the mud like that there's not much function of it because the bike doesn't really pop the front up with such little traction, and they may not release which some guys found out 😂
Jetts bike setup, maybe they tried to keep the same spring rate and added more preload to the forks and shock trying to compensate for the mud weight but just missed the setup.... but your for sure right his setup looked like a nightmare to ride
James I love the fact when you talk about racing SuperX or MotoX you use the word WE.. Chase has some serious perseverance. We have seen him hit the deck hard and get up and go right back to speed we know not just anyone can do that
He did win the mxon on first ride on a 450 in mud in 2022 … I think he just had a stinker of a day
Chase got lucky. I’ll be sold if he can do it again a couple more times. But pretty confident he just got lucky.
he admitted that he got lucky on the start but he road a clean race and got the W

Jett and his team knew he didn’t need this race. Some riders needed it, not him lol
Remember Everts. He didn't complain about the 97 honda.
Jett better hope there's no more mud lol im hoping et3 gets back to form then it's lights out!
I think some racers get to a point where they have some time to reflect and think, "I am kinda tired of this injury stuff."
