@LuckyFootFilms I think he means more towards object spawning. When you press X on a barracde you will see an option called advanced. select advanced and go down to were it says spawn time. Change it there. if it isn't in advanced then it is someplace in the menu after you press X on the barracade. this works will all objects.
@deethe1killer123 If you're talking about the part were the pods break in mid flight (the barriers just splits from each other) it actually happens to ODSTs. There have been cases were an ODST's pod would break apart, killing the occupant inside.
@moneyman8280 well in a gametype, u can modify the settings for it (example invasion). lets say u want the spartans to fall 30meters to the drop zone without dying u give them custom powerup and in the gametype settings u modify the custom powerup traits to make the player invinsible for 10 seconds lets say. so ya its just a kind of placeholder, incase u need a special power for ur gametype.

change the place at start to false on the first barracade, start new round, move the second one down a knotch so that if the first one was there, they would phase together, then when the first one spawns put it back to place at start true. now the barricades are phased together and wont break apart until they hit the ground usually.
to make a small drop pod u slightly interlock them w/ a shotty (or any wep) completely surrounded in building blocks and then its like a hole in the floor u go in and pull the shotty and it falls

i recently got a map with a small pod it works via launch system a small box 2 small baricades tall ones on each side that touch each other like these except their bottoms touch the box, you enter by a ramp to the top jump in then hit the launch system and go the launch system works by a landmine you shoot that causes explosives to go off under the ship to the pod the box reston a 2way shield door so when the explosive goes off it throws it up then it goes through takes a few tries to get right
you should make an enormous frigate with an armory, hangar, and drop pods in a line like a real frigate in the first halo odst scene in the mission "Prepare to Drop"

help! i made some pods pewrfectly but when they respond they are a mess and every time i ride them they fall apart in mid air but i dont die from the fall because of overshield so yea only problems are respawning and flight
@MorenoSchipper Instead of pressing a then changing fixed/phased to normal, just go over it DO NOT PRESS A and press x, then change it. that fixed mine. If anyone else experienced it falling apart, thumbs this up. I dont care about thumbs, just to help othrs.
MINE IS EPIC AS you are falling once you get closer to the ground my screens sides turn all orange becuase the pods smacking my head wich makes it look like im falling ut of space entering the atmosphere and when ever it lands the pod gets stuck in the ground

I couldnt figure it out because of the freakin huge paragraph in my face. But, I have a suggestion. If you put that paragraph in the bigging, you could make one of those pause thingings when you edit it on youtube, or you could put an annonation on it saying to pause the video, so people could read it, then press play to finish the video without the paragraph in their way.

my friend made a drop pod you could actually sit in and you had to shoot a release lever to make it fall. it was pretty epic
@babymonkey1245 you don't exactly need a tunnel, but he initial floor that allows access to the HEV needs to be pretty tight on it.

The resin u survied the first drop is when your over shiled is charging you don't die well falling

you know if u put a weapon fixed at the top of the inside of the drop pod then you can make it drop on command by picking up the floating weapon

i own ODST, and it does not have forge, the Disk 2 has forge, and Disk 2 = Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack, so its Halo 3!

Would you have to use two barricades, or could you simply construct a box yourself with Building Blocks?
The only reason why you survived is because during the overshield is spreading out through out the health meter your invincible.

i think just using a crate would be easier like u get on the crate and there is a fixed bomb underneath it and blow the bomb up, letting it down
i made a drop pod from a small barricade but its more like a your surfing though the air

how do you not make it break apart i did it exactly like you and it keep breaking as soon as i left it.
I can't ever get it to work more than once, they always get messed up and respawn at different times.
Every time the pod respawns it gets messed up and loses the triangle so u coudnt fix it in slayer what shud I do?
