1bg and 2bg are fun I think. not too long, not too short, not too hard (by the time you begin considering them), not too easy. there are definitely goldens among story chapters like 3ag, 5ag and 6ag I'd say (and didn't even start practicing for 7ag) that just feel like a drag relying on exhausting you instead of any decent exciting challenge. c-side goldens are definitely a gateway drug. 3 screens in a row to beat isn't too tough, cutting deaths in half or more every other playthrough or so is satisfying, though 7c is the only one I returned to eventually after the golden was done because I wanted to clean up my record. 1bg doesn't have it all, but it has a bit of everything. it is one of those levels that invite you to get a bit of that s p e e d on repeats. 3ag, in contrast, was making me reenter rooms to adjust for the entry cycles and killing all the momentum in my heart with endless cutscenes even if I am not that good at building momentum in madeline. don't think 5ag or 6ag were that boring. seekers and badeline keep you on your toes and give you a direct reason to get through the room asap instead of pondering. also the tape room in 1b is very fun with hypers and wounce on the first block and stuff. i only have three b-side goldens, working on 3bg now, but 1b's tape room is engaging in a way 2b and 4b aren't. 3b's is kinda fun, a little dance, but starting in the other part of the galaxy with zero obvious to me speed strats beyond just landing on the springs with the right timing takes points off for me.

Yea the first two b-side goldens are fun to do but when next goldens the difficulty starts to ramp up
