Ok Jeff, followed your instructions to a T and the front pump, C Clutch assembly dropped in exactly like yours. Almost click for click. 9 bolts in and new washers...do you know the torque spec for those 9 and do you oil them first or just dry. Thanks again. I have more to do as I have the 4 wheel version and have to add back the additional stuff to add another 100lbs
I don't think it's quite the same. Have a look at the Audi 01V video I made, link below. This is the AWD version, and from what I understand the FWD version is more like this but without the rear output. I got ready to assemble my tower and found one unique washer that fell out its 3mm thick and 48mm wide. Its the only thick washer on the entire transmission(i'm guessing as a spacer). For the life of me I cannot find out where it goes?
Do you have the exact dimensions. ID, OD and thickness. I'll take a look in the shed and see if I can find where it goes. I still have all the components after doing this project years ago.
