When Newcastle Ultimate is called "wall", when Newcastle Mobile Shield is called "wall", and when Catalyst Ultimate is called "wall", I can see how it can be confusing on the comms. They need more clear commed labels for each one
he literally said before wall castle Q, idk what can be so confusing about that, if people dont use context clues that is on them, i felt like it was pretty clear on which wall they meant
Screw the comms zoom in on the map, Timmy tells gen "we're on our way" dez FULL HEALTH just goes the other way like I'm not helping. He did NOTHING in that fight
Yeah it’s crazy how the comment section is clearly ignoring this. Timmy makes a call at 4:05 saying “we need to walk up now” and gen goes first then timmy behind him BUT DEZ DOES NOT FOLLOW AND RUNS THE OTHER WAY 😂😂😂😂
I feel like this was actually a healthy disagreement with good dialog towards the end, at least compared to some of the clips of them. Timmy admitted he made confusing comms with the “wall” callout, but also still addressed the issue that Dez should have known to auto-throw his Q after the bubble fell.
@@lovell7491 I agree he did call for a new castle q and why did dezign run away from tht last fight at full hp instead of helping timmy finish the lastguy 2 v3 there is winnable and Gen may even have no gotten knocked if Dezign was there to support him Gen did get a lil too frisky pushin lik tht but Dezign at least should have been there when timmy pusshed
@@Raumance but even a casual player knows he meant Q since NewCastle ult is on cooldown and they're saving Cata ult for closing ring. That was 100% on Dezign.
4:19 Gen clearly Coms to APE, Last guy. Dez literally goes the opposite direction during the whole whole fight?!?! Look at the mini map, Dez runs from the fight leaving Timmy to get killed. What is Dez doing?????
that shit pissed me off so much. I agree with gen, 8/10 times you int in final 3 on last zone youre just playing for second place really. However there were some key moments when dezign just didnt give a fuck about timmys coms and tried his own thing that i can understand timmy's distress thinking they couldve won that bc if they played with more unity maybe he couldve seen a winning option. also some dezign moments that pissed me off 1. timmy coms to play a wall he found and dezign is just running at a team solo with a q and gets knocked causing timmy to need to bub to res him. 2. design not putting q down fast enough in last zone after timmy commed it and causing timmy to go down. Theres such a necessity to time bub, newcastle q and newcastle wall that we saw the team in the shack they pushed do perfectly but with dezign tunnel visioning so much theres no way
Dez has shown to be like this before. He’s good when things are perfect but he’s always the one not understanding comms, not pushing, or like this situation just not going in the right direction
LOL JESUS. I've never seen a team do 3 different things at once. Timmy is saying to chill out, genburten is rushing in solo, and design is just straight up running away. Oh my god
Timmy was calling to fight the team on the left and pushes up first Gen was just trying to make the play and it was a 2v1 Dez should have been in there helping finish the last guy or sticking the rez and dropping tac. Timmy was saying chill but he just meant keep calm. Only one player was in the wrong there
@@ortega9156 Timmy had the first guy 1 shot and was in it so I wouldn't say he was by himself. He was definitely a little aggressive but he was just trying to make the play before the cat wall dropped and their side was exposed. I still say they win that if Dez is with them. Gen committed to play the IGL called, maybe he over committed a bit all I'm saying is only one guy was out there doing his own thing
@@ortega9156 and he did say to chill when they got ult'd but he was saying they'd have to fight the team on the left and Timmy was first to engage. Again not saying Gen played it perfectly but he was listening
This is such a simple fix…it’s clear gen and dezign don’t trust timmy enough to make calls…. Everyone is trying to make a call or think of a play. If they just trusted timmy they wouldn’t all be talking and he might be able to get a complete thought out. Everybody knows a bad play with everyone on the same page is better than a good play with only 1or 2 people. They keep talking about all the what ifs…. What If you just listened to the igl and then discuss after about it being a good or bad play
I disagree Gen offers a healthy amount of rebuttal in coms but ultimately does what his IGL asks and tries to make the play work. Dez just does what he wants if he disagrees or takes too long to think, making the plays too late then blames the call. Gens banter and Timmy IGL'ing isnt the problem here
@@chrissilva9101 He actively threw this game though, Timmy wanted to play slow after the first knock on the stairs but gen decided to w key after getting another guy low (He did shit on them but they would have gotten second no matter what they did since gen was down and Timmy didn't even get the kill on the solo leaving Dez to need to 1v1 then 1v3). If he had listened they could have won since that other team was pushing the building and had fought the 2v3 while Timmy and them get to full reset.
@JayJJosh nah bro Timmy says we need to push up now they move up and get the knock, Timmy pops a cell to get full shield but Dez is right next to Gen at the top of stairs fully healed. If he trusts his teammates, Dez pushes up with Gen as Timmy pops the cell, Gen gets the 2nd knock and either doesn't go down and it's now a 3v1 or he goes down and Dez can Newcastle rez or fight it as a 2v1 with a fully healed Timmy who then has bubble. Instead what happened is Timmy says push up, they get the knock, Timmy pops a cell and Gen pushes and Dez who's at the top of stairs next to Gen just backs up for no reason leaving Gen solo to trade knocks and even did some damage to the third and Timmy pushes in to try and save the play but is also alone. That should have played out differently but Gen didn't throw that Dez did. Gen knew they had to finish that before a rez and before cat wall dropped because their spot sucked Timmy called to fight them. It was aggressive but again it was Dez backing off and leaving his teammates alone because he didn't like the call that fucked that all up.
@@JayJJosh I'm telling you Gen and dez push that together Dez gets the newcastle rez if they need it, drops his tac and timmy comes in for clean up duty fully healed and hopefully gives Gen enough time to pop a bat and they have a chance at the W. Sitting back was not the call Timmy made
The biggest mistake i saw here was gen apeing that team in final building even when timmy was yelling to play slow. If gen doesn't rush in there then they reset on back stairs while the winning team flanks that building and cleans up third place then they have a straight 3v3 or maybe even better a 3v2 if the other teams trade. was disappointed to see immediate blame go to dezign there. not saying he wasn't at fault but I think the immediate frustration should have definitely gone to gen because now this exchange just goes further to the narrative that design is the scapegoat of the team and takes blame for every mistake.
Fleck dezign, even though u correct ngl. But his ego too big for this team, Timmy is selfless but to me is undeniably the best player on the team and I feel like dez doesn't give him total control of shot calling because he usually is the igl and on top of that gen has a lot of experience as well and he admits that he aped but igl wise he takes a backseat and gives suggestions. I think they should drop dez and pick up enemy and they would be cooking, minimum they would be better cause of their chemistry.
@@youngriles1419 that's the thing, they have to play with Dez in order to get a guaranteed spot in champs or w.e, they'd have to pick up Enemy and start from the bottom and make their way back up to champs. That's a lot to ask and or do considering teams are stacked nowadays. Even if they plow thru the comp, they'd still have to make their way back. I do agree however, Dez is not a good player for comp. He's great overall but his attitude and his ego will always be the downfall of every team he's blessed to be on imo..
Yes twice gen aped on his own. Which is so weird cause in falcons zero would tell him watch our backs and dude would SIT while zero and Hal were fighting and he wouldn’t budge.
I think he might have felt pressured that they didn’t have any other play, definitely jumped the gun. Dez sold it for sure by counter-calling and threw the pacing off to begin with, which basically melted the game plan that Timmy was laying out🤔
@@Cruckavens777ehh it’s the right call both his teammates went down he’s forced to go for second you want points in a tournament, securing second is better than stuck with third correct? Lmao
@@KingBLUCK it guarantees second so it's not a bad thing. it was just fucked when dezign didn't q and then even more fucked when both timmy and dez didn't push with gen.
Crazy when other teams say shit like “I knew that was 100T because of the dumb ass shit dezign is always doing” - I’ve heard this on multiple pro’s streams
7-8 seconds went by before Dez decided it was time to throw his shield after the bubble went away. Timmy is right on this one. Thats far too long. No need for him to take any damage let alone go down. That cost them so much time otherwise spent on making the play they needed to make.
Gen definitely got a little too excited but he wanted to make the play before the cat wall dropped and their side was exposed. If they finish the team fast they get some cover in that building so it was a mistake but not unreasonable. Ignoring your IGLs call and doing nothing (not pushing the last guy 2v1 and not trying to stick the rez and drop tac) is just unacceptable Dez is toxic
Timmy seems way more demonstrative and making sure he’s giving clear comms not just one word. This is huge because it was a weak point mentioned in the Apex podcast. Mad respect for him ALREADY making a change. He may not be the best IGL right now but he can definitely get there
I don't know why he persists on wanting to be one, he should concentrate on becoming a top fragger. I was up for watching this journey with him but I'm not seeing anywhere near enough in endgames, he still freezes and hesitates, the contrast between him and real leaders in the game is stark. Leaders are born, not made, and this is a great example of that. I love Timmy, I just think he's causing himself more grief than if he let go of the idea altogether.
That’s actually the complete opposite lol Timmy is good for early game because he knows the zone pulls, and zone is what’s in meta not edge, but dezign is actually the better late game igl lol you said the complete opposite of what he was
It is so funny to see a bunch of people blaming Dezign in the comments when it is CLEAR that Gen and Dezign are on the same page in the end game. Timmy is one of the greatest MnK players, but that doesn't automatically make him a good IGL.
@@tsubasakazanari6116 it’s hard to igl when your whole team doesn’t listen gen and Timmy both pushed a fight they we half forced into and when they actually took the fight dezign completely disregarded all calls made prior to said fight and fails to help in the fight and just stays put while the other 2 push and tries to 1v3, they simply don’t listen to their igl, his calls weren’t bad the execution was
Tbh the only reason they didn’t get knocked sooner was because Timmy made A quick read and stopped them from trying to play the match like pubs 😂 they were trying to ape every team while Timmy was coordinating the next move. Notice Timmy playing for cover and survivability & finding routes they can push through 99% of the clip, tbh Dezign shouldn’t play Cat after seeing his pathfinder ziplines 🤣
I really wish the design would stop playing professionally. I have been the conductor of his hate train but it’s seriously getting ridiculous how hard he literally counter calls everyone and then proceeds to literally throw shit harder than a gorilla.
Honestly when i heard timmy was getting back to the dojo i was hoping its be him and enemy. Dezignful just doesn't listen and sells a lot. He does have good moments but i wouldnt be surprised if gen or timmy leave in the next couple of months.
Even if what design saying is the better play he threw the game the moment you stop listening to the igl is when you ruin the team chem after that it doesn’t matter what the better play is you’re losing, discuss the better play after the game and in game just listen to the igl
I think its way harder than u make it out to be. If u know of the way to win the game, but ur igl calls another play which u know sucks, which one are u gonna do?
@ if im in a pro team in a professional game im following the igl and im gonna be focused on my role and then we talk about the better play afterwards like the dude is my igl if im counter comming obviously its gonna cause the comms to be bad the better play isnt worth it if your ruining the chemistry and flow of the game
@ValueHaven-y1u wat u said is correct. But how many times does it take for it to becomes the igl's fault? There has to be a certain point where the fault lies in the igl's incompetence and not just blame dezign? And u shouldnt be saying "if im in a pro team". It should be "if im a pro in a pro team". These are 2 diff viewpoints
Ive never seen dez and gen for that matter, be so calm and sit back and take feedback like this before, they must really be focused and it also shows how much respect they have for timmy
Timmy is at fault here. He's the one who needs to calm down. He gets flustered so easily. Gen and Dezign seemed fine especially Dezign, he was cool as a cucumber generally asking Timmy what the plan is and Timmy was just fumbling over his words and his calls. Also they need better comms for whats a "wall". Timmy said play slow and then Gen said ape and dezign listened to his igl and didnt ape. Gen got them killed and Timmy wasnt able to communicate the plan CLEARLY.
It’s hard when you’re having to consistently communicate over people and/or ppls counter calling all the time. He literally had to tell them STFU multiple times so he can finish his comms.
Dezign made a few mistakes, but mistakes will always happen, none of them cost the game (he got rezzed immediately). Gen played too aggressively in the end, he could've waited a little longer for Timmy's tempo. As for the Q, Timmy should have used the time in the bub to communicate the need to cycle shields to stall a little longer since that was his vision he explained afterwards; like he should've said "CYCLE Qs" or "GET READY TO SHIELD" instead of "CALM DOWN CALM DOWN", few precious seconds wasted which led to the mistake Timmy is focusing on, but again minor mistakes, got rezzed and healed immediately. In conclusion, no individual really threw the game, just the culmination of small mistakes that eventually costed a placement. Naturally, an individual small mistake hardly matters, but in the hardest lobbies in the world the small discrepancies between what each player is envisioning as the play can create a multiplying effect that worsens the consequences of a few small mistakes. I'm actually just most frustrated by the title of this video, fanning Dezign hate flames for more clicks.
Because even if it’s a bad call you don’t just ignore it and do your own thing. This is scrims. This is when Timmy needs to learn from his mistakes and they can talk about it after. We’ll have no idea if they win if they all go left because dez just constantly counter calls and just decides even in a moment like that, that he’s not going to listen which is the sure fire way to lose there even if left is a bad decision. What’s worse is going somewhere entirely different, on your own.
@ bro if I’m the leader it’s up to me to take responsibility for my mistake and my calling the point of a leader is to use all info to make the best call. If dezi is telling you something and gen is telling you something and you complete say no and say do it my way that’s not a good igl. Even the best igls like Hal, sweet and zero listen to their teammates to some extent. Timmy dragging it bro and it’s getting lame
@@Iamyourshooter76 They gave that suggestion, Timmy listened, and decided against it. Being a good IGL isn’t always making the best calls all the time, there was other calls during this clip where Timmy listened and decided to do what they said but when an IGL makes a call, you follow it. If you want a sure fire way to die, it’s just sitting on your own whilst the rest of your team fights someone else. Dez is constantly counter calling so I imagine it’s incredibly difficult to know when to listen and when to not, else at a certain point dez is just the IGL.
compared to some of the other clips I've watched from this team this is a lot tamer and glad to see dezign not deflecting criticism immediately. overall the environment is a lot more productive
timmy is such an excellent player who has adapted to the pro playstyle phenomenally. unfortunately because of his content creation origins and previously more outspoken teammates he's been overshadowed and not given nearly enough credit and sadly even his own teammates can fall into that habit sometimes of not listening or trusting him. but timmy IGL'ing is a good move and he's a good player, they just need to learn to listen to the new IGL (whoever it is) when they change it
I swear Timmy just needs to say to Q sooner because that was super confusing. I’m sure from Dezign pov he’s not thinking that he’d need to use Q since they both (Timmy and Dezign) thought walling right was the right play. Timmy just needs to gain control of the team if he wants to IGL and not spend the entire time spamming “just listen,” when he isn’t making proper comms
I'd love to see timmy with new and upcoming pros that will actually respect his decision making regardless of the result. There is no IGL on this fucking game that can be correct more than 60% at the time, but anything is possible if you play together,
Dez could've just pulled Gen up and give him a Q to reset or just join Timmy in the building to ape the "last guy". Dez did none of that, instead he ran in the complete opposite direction making it a complete 2v3
“He’s igl for a reason” you want to know that reason? It’s not because he’s a great igl or even a good one, it’s because dezign is a edge igl and the meta isn’t shifted for edge it’s shifted for zone atm, and dez isn’t as familiar with zone compared to Timmy who was in moist for a few months so had to play zone. Timmy’s not igl because he’s good he’s igl because the meta shifted. He said himself that it was between him and gen because they knew zone but dezign is a better igl with more experience but experience for edge and not zone so it wouldn’t work out. Also Timmy’s igl for zone callouts but Timmy and dez are co igls atleast that was the original plan they stated when they joined back up together
They were confusing each other. First they said right side. Then dezign said fight left be he went right. Right side was the better option eventually. They had way more space. Timmy has no authority over the team.
Timmy waited SO long to rush the left team, they wasted cat ult and lost Newcastle ult getting shot from both teams. Timmy was trying to be calm and Gen and Design were aware of what was going on, but both had to slow themselves down just to wait for Timmy's late call.
Timmy was literally saying play it slow because they dont need to kill that team. They just had to wait it out and the team's literally dead. It was on Dez and Gen. Dez literally ignoring Timmy's "NC Q" comm and Gen literally soloing the team and ignoring Timmy's "play it slow" comm.
Yea looking back and and seeing Dezign just back chilling end game is crazy. He said q to the right, only one with a q that's worth a damn, is Newcastle here, q right got damnit
their biggest issue is they dont play together. their synergy is bad. just listen to timmy hes the igl even if his call is wrong a bad play can work if you play together and the right play wont work if no one plays together
Timmys coms are weak. He is constantly repeating things twice even when its not priority coms. He is not calm when giving directions at all times, he is often panicky. Telling teammates to calm down in the middle of end game is kinda funny when hes the one saying everything twice with a panic in his voice. Designful is a better IGL because he is more calm and direct in his coms. Making the "right" decision is not the end all be all for an IGL. Keeping the call outs flowing smoothly with confidence is what is most important. Hind sight is 20/20
It's annoying how Timmy comms but his comms absolutely were not weak here. He was telling Dezign to calm down because as Timmy is laying out the plan Dezign is making suggestions on what else to at a time when it's completely inappoprite. So Timmy is just saying shut up by saying calm down. Which was a good call on Timmy's part. It's a pretty brain dead take to say Dezign is a good IGL because he speaks slow and lethargic. Timmy's comms were very good here.
@@itstentoes8408 If you watch the video Timmy doesn't say wall he says q... And it shouldn't even be called Dezign should understand to just use it. Dezign absolutely throwing here.
@Raumance Timmys coms suck 🤣 Professionals in real life situations dont give panicky repeated coms multiple times. It happens from time to time, but it is not ideal at all . In one spot he says break the wall like 5 times in a row. FFS let your team mates feed some info to the situation. They can't even speak because Timmys coms are all over the damn place at times. Not to mention the fight coms are weak. No tactic for alternating first and second into a bubble fight. They should be thermite and arch staring bubble fights and playing the escape angles. Instead they just ape with shot guns and take 50/50 exchanges. Timmy has a good IGL game sense even maybe a great one, but his coms are weak at worst and average at best.
@@FreshGuits You sound like a hardstuck gold theorycrafter who doesn't understand how the game is actually played. Yeah great idea to have nades and time in every fight... Why doesn't everyone just do that always? So idiotic. Talking about real life is also a classical shitter talking point. I've actually been in the infantry and that shit does not work in FPS games. Timmy's comms are mainly annoying but not weak at least in this video. He speaks too fast but there is a purpose to repeating calls. And because of Dezign Timmy has to micro alot to make sure Dezign is constantly told exactly what to do. Even when Timmy does that Dezign is still throwing not doing what he is being told.
I agree with the people saying that this was overblown (and I think Gen deserves most of the blame here, if anyone does), but I want to point out that I do think Dezign had played pretty proactively and used his abilities largely well. One of them was a single second late in a confusing scenario. This is better than before.
I've been following these guys for a while. On separate teams and together... THERE IS A CLEAR COMMUNICATION ISSUE that they continue to refuse to address. They can never get out of their own damn way. Its ridiculous that all this time later they are still struggling with basic comms. Its just stupid.
If gen doesnt clean up like he did id be pissed. But he literally 1v2’s and does so much damage. His push wasn’t right but if they do push when he knocks the 2nd player its a 1v3, wipe that team and have a 3v3. Playing in the moment sways momentum of how they should’ve played into a different scenario.
Feel like gen threw this game more, If they listen to Timmy on the stairs and backed off like he originally wanted, "play slow" ( he said like 5 times, but gen wanted to w key, but everyone glazes and throws hate on Dez for not listening because black sheep, band wagoning ). Its the smarter play after that initial knock, the other team was pushing the building and would have killed off the last guys. They would have gotten a full reset instead and needed to 3v3. Props to gen he did shit on them but got himself down, leaving Timmy to need to kill the last one which he ends up getting dusted instead, which would have left Dez to 1v1 then 1v3. If Dez somehow dies before the solo they would have gotten 3rd but instead secured 2nd.
I belive that gen and designfuls plan to wall first so they can actually play for the win and dont castle q and wait there to get second is better, but design should listen to timmy no matter what, Timmy is the IGL and he should listen to him, gen should not have aped and they could've easily got a reset fast enough before they got pushed. I don't know why everyone is getting so mad at design and the last play he made by sitting there was the right play to secure the win, they just need to listen and stop overcoming
Might be because we are watching from Timmys POV but he naturally sounds panicked half the time, then yells ''STOP PANICKING'' Like, just tell them to do stuff beforehand, LIKE AN IGL WOULD. 3:28 Just simply say, tac wall after bubble, then wall right, instead of saying ''Listen listen listen'' when the bubble is about to go out, like, Dezign has every right to believe that they can live behind the wall for some time to buy a tiny bit of time, and then Timmy dies because he can't coordinate fast
He shouldn’t have to teach Dez to castle Q after bub in that situation. How many scrims have they played with this meta? You’re telling me he hasn’t learned that? Lmao. That’s tuff.
What do you mean? the coordination between Gibby and NC utility is everything, ESPECIALLY in their position. If Dezign wasted a tac right after bubble when Ult wall was down, then that's just a throw, in hindsight, it was needed, but beforehand, it's clear that they can still sit behind the wall for some time. Regardless, Timmy needs to be communicating what he wants to happen *clearly* rather than sounding panicked himself.
@ the timing from Q and Bubble is perfect. Once bub goes down, Q goes up. By the time Q goes down, Gibby alrdy has bub back. That’s how OP it is currently for the two combo. That’s why everyone’s playing the two, and that’s why as a pro player, Dez should’ve known that.
@@mzshanee But that just isnt true... there is a small time where both tacs are on cooldown, Dezign had the right idea to save it for a moment since they still had cover behind the wall, Timmy got melted because he's not coordinating his team properly and standing in the open when bub drops.
@ idk, I understood him perfectly fine. Even tho, Dez and Gen both kept talking over him, EVERY time he started to explain next steps. The time is so minuscule, he def could’ve used castles tac.
Dez didn't even join them in the last fight 🤣. Timmy called to walk up they knocked 1 Gen said he was chasing, and Timmy fully healed and joined while Dez just ran and hid to rat 2nd.💀 I would have cursed that mf out after rewatching my Vod.
Timmy deserves the frustration for signing Dez. Everyone knows he’s beyond stubborn and always does whatever he wants. That’s why he played Ash cause he wants to play how he wants and Q out when he screws up. He’s so washed
imma keep it an actual buck here unlike these other comments and come out and say as much as you love him, TIMMY, is the issue with this team. the bubble goes down, the entire team is practically in the open, regardless if the igl already said throw the Q down and cat wall right or not - your fking getting hamemred in the open just throw the damn q down lol
Dezign is not capable of taking calls from an IGL. He will ruin every comp team he plays on because he doesn’t understand that even if he thinks he has a better call than his IGL, he needs to stfu and listen to his IGL’s call. He can discuss after the game why he thinks his idea was better but in game, he just needs to listen to Timmy. Design is a good player but his ego makes him a terrible pro
Too much comms. Design doesnt listen, flooding comms "When do we get cat wall " when gen just said he had it, which lead to confusion and got timmy knocked. Then saying "we need to cat wall right" when the cat wall is literally already down in front of his face, in the heat of the moment that does not help at all.
@@DoNothingCrazy YEEES, we clearly saw how the team on the shack cycled their skills to hold off any push. There is 0 excuse for Dezign there.
Only one player was in the wrong there
@chrissilva9101 Chill definitely doesn't mean run in by yourself. I promise he didn't want Gen to do that
@@ortega9156 Timmy had the first guy 1 shot and was in it so I wouldn't say he was by himself.
@@chrissilva9101 The point was to hold them and all be full health for the next 3v3. Not trade knocks
@@JayJJoshagreed. Well said. This makes me appreciate my team. They always just do what I say and then we talk about it afterwards.
@@xaviermorales7849 true. Healthy discussion bro, this was nice
Yes twice gen aped on his own. Which is so weird cause in falcons zero would tell him watch our backs and dude would SIT while zero and Hal were fighting and he wouldn’t budge.
I think he might have felt pressured that they didn’t have any other play, definitely jumped the gun. Dez sold it for sure by counter-calling and threw the pacing off to begin with, which basically melted the game plan that Timmy was laying out🤔
At this point, I might have a shot at going pro with how much I've seen Dezignful screw up.
I legit feel like i could do better bro wtf he literally ran away😂

Crazy when other teams say shit like “I knew that was 100T because of the dumb ass shit dezign is always doing” - I’ve heard this on multiple pro’s streams
7-8 seconds went by before Dez decided it was time to throw his shield after the bubble went away. Timmy is right on this one. Thats far too long. No need for him to take any damage let alone go down. That cost them so much time otherwise spent on making the play they needed to make.
well 1 gen overextended after the first knock and design didnt exist
Gen definitely got a little too excited but he wanted to make the play before the cat wall dropped and their side was exposed. If they finish the team fast they get some cover in that building so it was a mistake but not unreasonable. Ignoring your IGLs call and doing nothing (not pushing the last guy 2v1 and not trying to stick the rez and drop tac) is just unacceptable Dez is toxic
@@chrissilva9101 100% agree
They should kick dezignful out and find a new teammate this type of stuff happens every time they play it’s not going to work out
All three had issues here I think. Gen was too aggressive, Timmy’s call was, I believe, not good, and dezign was literally not at the fight
Timmy is a good IGL for late game. He understands space and how to win because of positioning
Timmy is trying to speak over people who have to listen to him
Timmy isn't a good igl. getting bounced out of a 4th round of BLGS against challenger circuit teams clearly showed that.
@@elijahdinkins7556 bro timmy said play slow and then Gen screamed to ape, by your logic, Dezign did nothing wrong bc he listened to his igl
Bruh, gen threw this so bad. Timmy say "play safe" and he pushes alone.
Wait what ?? The design Timmy stuff isn’t working ??? Who could’ve predicted this 😮
Gen run into the house alone and Dezign went to right outta fucking nowhere, Timmy's "becoming imperialhal" arc is finally starting
He literally had to tell them STFU multiple times so he can finish his comms.
dezign thinks hes so smart but he's a muppet
4:30 i understand he's really good but once i saw bro 1 million meters away I would've instantly dropped him, that game was so winnable
I don't even play apex and even I know they could've won that game if he was there
Overall a good team talk. Nice to see an apex team talk it out without screaming at each other.
Timmy doesn't have the respect of an IGL you can tell based on how many times he has to tell them to listen to him
Timmy: "Play slow, play slow, play slow." Gen: "Let's Ape!" Runs in and dies. Timmy: "This is your fault Dezign!"
And how did they get in that situation in the first place genius?
watch the minimap from 4:18 till they die. no comms from design at full, he just does a 180 and leaves timmy to dry.

Bro everytime Timmy makes a bad call he just throws dezi under the bus
So true 😂
Dez is constantly counter calling so I imagine it’s incredibly difficult to know when to listen and when to not, else at a certain point dez is just the IGL.
i cant see this team working out ... they've had countless discussions about the same issues over and over again and nothing is changing
Wild to think tha they cant replace dez and get better results while having more fun

timmy is such an excellent player who has adapted to the pro playstyle phenomenally. unfortunately because of his content creation origins and previously more outspoken teammates he's been overshadowed and not given nearly enough credit and sadly even his own teammates can fall into that habit sometimes of not listening or trusting him. but timmy IGL'ing is a good move and he's a good player, they just need to learn to listen to the new IGL (whoever it is) when they change it
5:11 Timmy is right in this one because he needed to full heal and that made him have to waste his bubble after being rez
Absolutely devious title
good calls, this is grinding..
so simple, just work as a team but no he wants to be a hero, this how you lose tournaments. its all about winning
They need to shut up and listen to itztimmy he obviously had a had plan but they just kept shouting. He’s igl for a reason.
WHEN I SAY JUMP YOU SAY HOW HIGH
Timmy waited SO long to rush the left team, they wasted cat ult and lost Newcastle ult getting shot from both teams. Timmy was trying to be calm and Gen and Design were aware of what was going on, but both had to slow themselves down just to wait for Timmy's late call.
Because he didn't want to rush the left team in the first place. Duh. He was comming so hard to go right the whole time.
Rushing the left team wasn’t necessary they still could’ve played the stairs that’s what you don’t understand.
Timmy couldnt get the words out bc he was the one who needed to calm down and speak clearly.
Yea looking back and and seeing Dezign just back chilling end game is crazy. He said q to the right, only one with a q that's worth a damn, is Newcastle here, q right got damnit
The pros get to play E-District while we are stuck with Worlds Edge. Not good
play customs? lol
their biggest issue is they dont play together. their synergy is bad. just listen to timmy hes the igl even if his call is wrong a bad play can work if you play together and the right play wont work if no one plays together
Newcastle Ultimate should call "wall" and Mobile Shield should call "castle q" or "your q" Catalyst Ultimate call it "black wall" or "cat ult"
Bro is still playing with him, he’s making the team fail
There’s been multiple times when Timmy has done that and he calls everything a wall instead of specifically saying which wall.
Even when Timmy does that Dezign is still throwing not doing what he is being told.
they dropping dezign the nano second that champs are over
I agree with the people saying that this was overblown (and I think Gen deserves most of the blame here, if anyone does), but I want to point out that I do think Dezign had played pretty proactively and used his abilities largely well. One of them was a single second late in a confusing scenario. This is better than before.
3 IGLs never gonna work
I've been following these guys for a while. On separate teams and together... THERE IS A CLEAR COMMUNICATION ISSUE that they continue to refuse to address. They can never get out of their own damn way. Its ridiculous that all this time later they are still struggling with basic comms. Its just stupid.
Team got potential but MAAAN dezign need to respect his IGL my f'ing god this dude is painfull.
calm down calm down calm down calm down calm down calm down calm down calm down calm down calm down
he said calmly
If gen doesnt clean up like he did id be pissed. But he literally 1v2’s and does so much damage. His push wasn’t right but if they do push when he knocks the 2nd player its a 1v3, wipe that team and have a 3v3. Playing in the moment sways momentum of how they should’ve played into a different scenario.
dezign just won't shut up when timmy is making call man. He wants to igling so bad
Timmy knows what to do. He just needs to get confidence as Igl. Dezign isn’t helping and is only adding to those barriers of growing as IGL
Feel like gen threw this game more,
If they listen to Timmy on the stairs and backed off like he originally wanted, "play slow" ( he said like 5 times, but gen wanted to w key, but everyone glazes and throws hate on Dez for not listening because black sheep, band wagoning ).
Starting to think Timmy as IGL isn’t the best option
Dezign the kind of not listening to his IGL. Always has another idea and thinking too much. Needs to follow his IGL period.

It seems like gen and dez dont trust enough calls from timmy. Thats all. Thats why everyone trying to do what he thinks is right
4:25 lmao dezign playing solo queue
These tm8 gotta calm down 😂
they’re fucking buns 😭🙏
welcome back to the weeklyepisode of..
timmy said q literally 5 times
the bubble goes down, the entire team is practically in the open, regardless if the igl already said throw the Q down and cat wall right or not - your fking getting hamemred in the open just throw the damn q down lol
Design is a good player but his ego makes him a terrible pro
dezign is one of the t1 pros ive ever seen tbh
Too much comms. Design doesnt listen, flooding comms "When do we get cat wall " when gen just said he had it, which lead to confusion and got timmy knocked. Then saying "we need to cat wall right" when the cat wall is literally already down in front of his face, in the heat of the moment that does not help at all. Timmy cant igl design cause design just does what he wants, solo player for real. Then Timmy says "we're coming to you" and you see design running away lmao
it's just the matter of time
