I received my copy a few weeks ago in a dark green cover. I love this Bible! The size is perfect and the print size is perfect! Unfortunately I can’t read small print bibles anymore even with glasses so this new one is just perfect! I highly recommend it!
I was about to pull the trigger on the compact and decided to sleep on it. I was hoping to have red letter and some footnotes.
The next day I saw these came out and were ready to ship, and I couldnt be happier. I love the font size and overall bible size. It feels very premium and is a joy to use!
That's a good size with a reasonable font size. I really like my LSB. It has everything I like about the NASB and uses the divine name
316 Publishing is reminding me of Crossway--great options, amazing quality, and steadfast (no pun intended--well, maybe a little pun) in producing beautiful copies of God's Word! I need one!

Comparisons are always loved!
The LSB is definitely here to stay. It’s the most accurate and thorough formal equivalence translation yet. They did a lot of unique things that ought to have been done in past translations. Very scholarly, the most literal, and very consistent.
It definitely is here to stay, it's my main translation, I was an ESV guy and still love the ESV but the LSB has taken the main spot in my daily reading and study although I read it next to the ESV an lot of days. The translation is amazing and their quality is on a different level

I've got this in the black calfskin pastedown. This block is hard to beat...somewhere between a compact and a personal size, you get a 9.5 font with all the cross references and footnotes. Red a cents and bolded verse numbers make it a really attractive and functional.
oh my another, what looks to be a great bible to look at and consider. This show is killing my wallet. I am going to need to start thinking of where to put new shelving.
Great video! Yes the LSB is here to stay. I recently ordered the PPR with the black text letter, but I will have to wait until August. The LSB is my favorite translation, just slightly passing my beloved NASB95 (even though, I still read NASB regularly). One gripe I have with the LSB that I also have with the NASB, is the fact that they can't seem to produce a Large Print Thinline Reference Bible in the two column paragraph format similar to what Thomas Nelson did with the NKJV Large Print Thinline Reference Bible. This comes close, but in reality, this Bible is going to be used as a compact Bible because of the dimensions and because the font size of 9.5 is probably smaller than it what is listed. Overall, I do think the LSB is making progress in the short time since it has been out, and is here to stay.

My LSB PPR from Royal Jongbloed is off the ship from the Netherlands and on it's way! This will be my first really high-quality Bible and I am looking forward to it. I got the Five Solas binding with indexed pages, and I now know that "full yapp" isn't the annoying sound that small dogs make! Thanks for the unboxing review.

I sold my paste down calfskin LSB for pretty cheap to a pastor and miss it. I'm definitely getting another LSB and it'll probably be the PPR
Just received the same sola scriptura you have. Absolutely love it! This translation is my new top and nkjv being second. Getting ready to order the handy size one in cowhide. I think that one is on their website in red letter for 189.00$ Thanks again for all you do!

I am definitely interested in a deeper review but specifically I’m curious how does it compare with the Schuyler PSQ they seem like they have a similar formatting. Are they close to one another in size? Because this may be a decent budget alternative to getting a Schuyler if I were to pick this up, synthetic leather edition

@@timwildsmith just received it today. I wish it had the color maps. Doesn’t make sense that the top of the line version of the PPR (black goatskin) would have the paper black and white maps. It’s a beautiful bible and I love the translation, but I was a little disappointed. Do you know why they would do this?

Would love a comparison to the handy size since that's supposed to be the same 9.5 font. My first LSB is a rebound handy size I won from Post Tenebras Lux. I love it but often miss cross references. I bought a used faux leather ICR with intent to have it rebound but when 316 announced the PPR I decided to order one instead since it was in a font I knew I could deal with. Most compact/personal size have a font too small for my aging eyes. I ordered the full yap edge lined cowhide but it hasn't arrived yet.

The LSB is a good translation. My only issues with it will be the lack of a CE and i get uncomfortable with the use of the Divine Name

The tactic of starting with well above average priced and quality editions instead of paperbacks and bonded leather cheapies seems to be working out well for them. Look at all the decent translations that fizzled out because even the diehard supporters never had a quality Bible to proudly carry.
Sola Sriptura? Lol! While I understand that is the theology upheld by the people who made the LSB, I find that very strange to put that on the cover of a Bible. Like, you wouldn't put "Scripture & Tradition" on there either. Plus it alienates all denominations that do not uphold sola scriptura, who might otherwise buy your Bible. But on the other hand, I assume there are enough other options that don't feature that phrase on the cover.
Maybe cause I’m not a Bible connoisseur but I don’t get why this is special? It looks like every other Bible. What am I missing?

I used to have a compact NIV Study and my wife uses it now. I had a look at compact study Bible and couldn't find anything for the NIV. Amazon lists them but they are no longer for sale. I have a full-size NIV Study but would prefer a compact version with leather. Any suggestions? The one that she's using is about the size of the second smallest in the video but it's considerably thicker. The Bible market has really changed in 20 years.

Following the Amazon link, looks like earliest delivery is December.
The price is the same but still showing as a preorder with the December date. I was going to preorder last week but didn’t and it still shows not released yet with the 7/23/24 date. I will order but not sure it is really a preorder and expect it to ship earlier
