You could even dip your buffalo cauliflower in a vegan ranch. 1/2 cup hulled hemp seeds, 1 tbsp maple syrup, lemon juice, 1/2 white wine vinegar, 1/2 cup water, garlic powder, onion powerder, dill and a pinch of salt. Blend it up. Add more hulled hemps seeds to thicken it as needed. Delish.
I would use the sauce on tempeh, and make your ranch dressing too…put it in a wrap with lettuce, ranch and celery. You make the BEST sauces and dressings, and you’ve helped my husband and I move towards plant based eating more easily. Much thanks 🙏

I made this and Oh my did I love it... especially the buffalo sauce. (Could just drink that alone) I did switch out a couple things. I used almond butter instead of cashew (only because I didn't have any). I used gluten free flour and the plant milk I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk cuz it's all I had on hand. It turned out so good. This will be a regular thing for me to make.

But since everything that I have made from your channel has been great I figured this one would be too. WELL, this one sure doesn't disappoint. OMGosh, these were so fantastic! Just like you said. (actually, like all your meals) Crispy & almost meaty. Between the 2 of us we ate the whole head of cauliflower! While we ate one bowl of them I put the rest of them back in the turned off oven. This vegan buffalo sauce is approved by my VERY picky (vegan) 17 year old son who is a bonafide connoisseur of hot sauces. Cashew butter is so expensive, so I just used cashews in the recipe & a vitamix to pulverize them. He goes through a LOT of hot sauce so I feel that this helps extend their life and reduce the amount of sodium he consumes. Thanks so much!!!
I have never heard of buffalo sauce and cauliflower wings - I have no idea what they are, what I should expect them to taste like, even! But this sauce looks good (I hope it isn't going to blow the roof off my mouth!) and I'm definitely trying it with the cauliflower like that. It looks (and sounds) like it will be delicious. I always enjoy this channel. I’m always one for short cuts and find I can put a good amount of cauliflower in a Tupperware with the panko and shake. May have to do in batches depending on the size of your Tupperware. Thanks for the recipe can’t wait to try the sauce.

I discovered that cornmeal gives a similar texture to whole wheat flour w/ bread crumbs on top. Cornmeal just does it all in one easy step. I actually prefer it now. ❤

If you put the crumbs in a Ziploc bag and then just add the cauliflower to it it goes a lot quicker and I think it does a more even job. I used half chickpea flour and half almond flour. I didn't have any cashew butter so I just soaked a quarter cup of cashews and threw them in the blender

These look awesome! I like the part where you pour the batter onto the cauliflower… That saves a lot of time fussing with dipping each individual piece. That way you only have to dip them in the Panko. I am definitely going to try your sauce too. I know Franks makes a Buffalo Sauce, but it’s also nice to make one roughly “from scratch”. Especially without the butter or oil…. The potato idea at the end looks intriguing too. Thanks.

We love this sauce! Our favorite way to have it is to mix it 1:1 with your vegan yogurt-based ranch dressing then stir in chickpeas for a Buffalo chickpea salad or taco filling. This combo makes a great coating for kale chips, too!

I made the sauce using cashew powder and it turned out great! Tried it on soya wadi nuggets and will do cauliflower for dinner. So excited. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
