Awesome review WOTM, when people get what they asked for they don't support it. Is there any wonder studios kept pumping out CGI vomit franchises and remakes nowadays?

Exactly this is an original idea and people hated on it because they are used to bloated as remakes and reboots

@The War of the Movies Probably most of these negative Nancy's are comparing this to The Last of Us and Jurrasic Park, which isn't fair. How franking jaded does one have to be to dismiss a solid effort like 65.

This was a great review appreciate your thoughts about this movie I agree it was not a terrible movie and def doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets I just think it was a very missed opportunity for me I think that the story could’ve been slightly better and maybe with more time it could’ve been developed

Come on. I laughed out loud when the first credits at the end of the movie appeared and were for the writers (and directors) of the movie. I had no idea someone had actually written the movie. I thought it had been autogenerated, not by an AI, just a random basic ideas generator. The story was obvious the moment I saw the girl. The only saving grace was the short duration and saving us the inevitable "2 years later" where Driver and wife adopted the little orphan girl...
Everything else was so ridiculous it was boring. No thrills, no suspense - everything was too predictable - and completely lacking in any kind of scientific accuracy (science? what is that?). Driver does well with his basic concept for an idea of a sketch of a caricature, but that's it.

UPDATE: I wrote the above before I started watching your video. After 2 mins I'm wondering what are you talking about. Jurassic Park? The movie indicates clearly what it is about with the title: 65. It is set 65 million years ago, when the dinosaurs went extinct (actually it was just a bit over 66 million, but 65 is the common figure). So by seeing the trailer we know there is a spaceship crashing on Earth and there are dinosaurs. So we know Driver will have to escape the planet, fighting dinosaurs (and potentially other creatures) along the way before the asteroid impacts. The only way this would have been more interesting would be if there had been no asteroid and Driver had actually killed all the dinosaurs. That would've been impossible, but more entertaining than this drivel.
I guess someone sold the idea as: Adam Driver. Killing dinosaurs. One day before the asteroid impact. When asked to show the actual script, the writer said: "That's it. That was the complete script. Oh, his daughter also dies."
