Yeah man stoked as! I don’t know about that man. Remember I just bought a new bike.. and I halfway into a house renovation lol I only had one good ride on it. One day but not March. Cheers 😁🤙
Yeah can’t beat it alright. Still buzzing from it. The conditions are mint at the moment. Hero dirt! Maybe one little scratch. Had a little bail 🥲🙄😬. Cheers mate
Hi, great video! I've been thinking about whether I should buy the Focus Sam 2 6.9 or the Haibike AllMTN 7 and I can't decide. I would like to ask you, although it may be biased, which would be your choice? Some praise Yamaha's engine and battery, i.e. Haibike. Others praise Bosch's engine and battery, i.e. Focus. Thanks!
Hi there, personally I haven’t tried the Haibike or the Yamaha motors, so I can’t really comment on that aspect. But as far as the Bosch smart system, I have been very impressed how intuitive it is and easy to adjust power levels and dynamic power on the app. As far as the Focus. I have been very happy with it. The only thing I would say is the battery cover is a bit too easy to come open after a big case. So I put some Velcro to stop it happening temporarily. I am getting a bash guard made up to cover over this. This bike is a big upgrade from my previous bike. So I’m loving it. The suspension package is the most noticeable improvement for me. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. Thanks heaps for watching. 😁🤙🫶
@@EMTBNZ Ok, thanks a lot for the reply! 😊 However, I believe I will end up in Fokus. I think it's also visually nicer. How much range does that Focus have? I do know that many things affect it, such as the cold, weight and driving style. But it would still be interesting to get indicative information about the range. How many kilometers can you get, for example, at the most and least?
@Lukkosulkeiset No worries. Yes they are very nice bikes visually. As far as range. I get 35-40km riding at a MTB park climbing 1200m vertical. Which is a big ride for me. That’s in Tour+ mode or EMTB ModeI haven’t done any long flat rides yet so not too sure about that range. I’m sure you will be happy with it though. Where do you usually ride? Bike parks?
@@EMTBNZ Okay. Actually, I haven't ridden anywhere yet 😁 I haven't had a bike like that before, but now I was thinking of buying one since they seem interesting. I will probably drive a little on asphalt and more on forest paths. I live in Finland and there are many forest paths here 😎🇫🇮
@Lukkosulkeiset nice one man well I’m sure you will love it. Might be a little bit of an overkill as it is a long travel Electric bike and design to handle hard trails like grade 5 etc but I’m sure you’ll work your way up to that point and won’t be disappointed. hope you enjoy it whatever you get. Cheers from New Zealand.😁🤙
No really noticeable rattling. Watch some of my videos and have a listen. Main gripe is with the battery cover coming open. Have installed bash guard and that’s fixed the problem.
Just got my 6.9 and did about 50km in Rotorua today. During your ride did you ever smack the front of the battery cover? my one got hit about 4 times during the day going over slower drops.
Oh awesome mate! Congrats, You will love it. I did touch once on a slow drop. I cased a jump hard on Katore jumps, and the battery cover flapped open. I am getting a bash guard custom made through a mate. Apparently you can tension the rubber flap. But I haven’t done it yet. Can’t wait to get out for my next ride. Cheers for tuning in. 😁🤙
@@EMTBNZ I am going to make a cover and I think Electric bike Rotorua have a customer making them, I think. I was loving the bike until I was hitting the cover a number of times. I was running the 550LB spring that came on the bike but I need at lease a 650lb for my weight so I hope this sorts it out. Only just came across your videos because I was searching for SAM2 stuff and I like your style of videos.
Yeah awesome mate, yeah that’s my mate who is making them up. Bloody brilliant bikes. Yeah takes a bit of fine tuning. Glad you like my videos. Appreciate that. I definitely need more people like you supporting my channel. 😁🤙 Cheers
@@EMTBNZ Just finished making a fibreglass with a little carbon fiber bash guard that hugs the lower downtube and under the motor. Will see how that goes on the next ride.
@@SjwNz08 nice one man. That must look sweet! Yeah that’s the only downside we have found about the bike. The battery cover. I am currently waiting on a custom alloy bash guard to be made up. Cheers man.
Cool video keep them coming
Thanks man. I have been trying to. This video was a while back. Really good day though. Made a few since then. Cheers
Ah here it is…exactly what I was looking for. Super stoked for you 😎🤘
Haha, cheers mate, I am over the moon with it. Thanks again for the support! 😁🤙
Sweet vid mate, was an epic day all round with tons of smiles 🤙
Cheers Tony, yeah it sure was! I still can’t wipe the smile off my face. 😁🤙
Awesome new bike Tom very nice and I’m glad you are very excited with it.
Looking forward to seeing your next adventure on it
Cheers Jeremy, yeah I sure am. Couldn’t wipe the smile off my face all day! 😁🤙
Woo hoo yeah boi! You should come down for the Coro1200 race on the 9th of March!!
Yeah man stoked as! I don’t know about that man. Remember I just bought a new bike.. and I halfway into a house renovation lol I only had one good ride on it. One day but not March. Cheers 😁🤙
Cant beat new bike day, the bikes look mint as do the conditions in Vagas. No first day scratches?

New bike days are the best days 😊
Yes! Totally agree. So Thrilled with it!! 😁🤙

Hello, Its on sale sam2 6.9, 7990 aud, or get the polygon n8xe for 8399?
@@marklukedeguzman Yes I has dropped a lot in price since I bought my one 7 months ago. That’s a bargain now! But I already have one & I am loving it!
