Funny how the media praised Keenum prior to his injury and talked about how he was a Heisman candidate. He gets hurt early in the 2010 season and NCAA grants him another year. He rehabilitates comes back has a stellar season sets endless NCAA records wins 12 out of 13 games and the media has little good to say. Maybe he wont have a great NFL career but when you achieve the things he did during his collegiate career he certainly deserves to be recognized as one of the best ever.
3 seasons with over 5,000 passing yards each season. I loved watching this team put up video game numbers. Keenum arguably gave The Vikings their best season in the past 20 years. The All-Time Leader in College Passing Yards. Case Keenum.
Thanks for posting this. As the alumni magazine said, it was almost perfect. I'm very proud of this team for what they did this season and for hanging in there after coach scumlin quit on them.
Big PSU fan here. UH is a good program and I hope the confrence change will do something for you guys. Nothing but respect for the University of Houston....maybe a PSU-Houston rematch in the national championship this year? lol
I remember watching the game against LA Tech at a watch party at McAllister's on campus a few months ago. Talk about an incredible game to watch! We were all screaming and yelling after they got that last touchdown! When it was over, we all walked back to the Towers and CV, and almost no one could talk from all of the screaming. Above all else, what a season! Go Cougars!
Great Video, Thanks for making it.. Too bad Coach Sumlin did not handle his exodus better. I really do think the huge distraction that led up to the last game for the conference title cost us the game. Never the less a magical season !!!
Patrick Edwards made Case what he is today. That kid was something special; and HE broke his leg in 08! That 2011 UH team was something special. One of my favorite teams of all-time.
Better late than never, though. Looking forward to the rest of this year and definitely next year. Think they just might crack that playoff next season
Talk about lucky. How often do people like Case Keenum come around? Not very. And he came with us. Vince Young got 20 chances to succeed and he's failed. Watch how Keenum will get ONE chance and will make it to the top proving all his detractors wrong. We were lucky to have him. We really were. In any AQ team he would have won 2 or 3 heisman trophies.

Wow. Great job putting this together! It gave me chills watching our magical season. GO COOGS!
Those last two pictures at the end should be put in the Hall of Fame in the AA building.
Still the greatest college quarterback of all time.

Case Keenum: We're proud of you! Go Coogs!
welcome to the Texans, Case!
Anyone know where to find a higher quality version of that last picture? I can't find it anywhere
The real Johnny football " Case Keenum"
this should be playing at UH
Can't believe it took us 4 years to get back to the same level of dominance. Hiring Tony Levine was a big mistake.
Better late than never, though. Looking forward to the rest of this year and definitely next year. Think they just might crack that playoff next season
Not as big a mistake as Dana Holgorsen
@@jgneolardo8875so, you’re here too huh? 😢
