The official release says “Don’t overstay your welcome” which to me makes it seem like it’s more of an issue with giant culture. Remember that Dorry and Broggy started fighting over the size of fish. I would wager that it is dangerous to overstay because if you offend the giants they will likely challenge you to a duel, and most humans lack the ability to fight a giant one on one.

I would welcome Elbaph being a shorter arc, but Oda has already set up Loki as this big big evil big man Unless Luffy tries to free Loki, and someone from the crew's just like "... no you idiot... stop" and he never frees him. Which honestly would be pretty funny
or the twist could be that the deal they made was for Loki to join his crew. maybe it's another zoro situation. it would admittedly feel weird to have a giant crew member though.

@@koopakape I agree but only if Loki’s not the main villain. Theres already so many main villains we need to see and we can’t waste 3 years exploring a brand new one. Or maybe another antagonist crew teams up with them. We just need other antagonists to be explored during the arc. If oda’s gonna finish op in his lifetime he needs to develop the story in some way. Unfortunately beating Loki doesn’t get us closer to the end of the story
There are moments in one piece which reveals how insanely talented Oda-sensei is, the art in this chapter was phenomenal, especially considering the time difficulties that Oda-sensei faces with the weekly releases.
The time thing doesn’t make sense to me. If giants live for centuries (Dorry and Broggy fought in little garden for 100 years) AND time passed faster outside of Elbaf, then the giants who lived during the void century would still be alive today. For them, only a couple of decades would’ve passed and it is not the case.
I'll never be convinced this was an island we weren't meant to go to. It was set up forever ago, and I'd have considered it a writing failure on Oda's part had we not stopped here.
Oda did an amazing job displaying the huge proportion differences from different angles in different panels in this chapter. Reminds me of Dune and the many zoomed out scenes to show the contrast of the small human figures with the vastness of the desert and gigantic Arakis buildings/machines and sandworms.
One thing I love about Norse Mythology is how 'practical" everything is. To the point that they didn't feel the need to explain things like Bifrost (the rainbow bridge) or Mjolir (Thor's hammer). Like it was just obvious to the vikings that "yeah, mate, if you're fancy enough you can ride those rainbows around the realms. Duh. And why's Mjolnir like that? Who cares? Sick hammer innit? Maybe the *best* hammer. Man... I wish I had a nicer hammer." This extends to Odin's interference with mortals. Zeus is out there screwing anything with any number of legs as anything he can think of. Meanwhile, Odin sees a guy win a tough fight and yeets him a nice sword. Then checks back in like 10 years later and this dude's about to become king, so to keep things fair you ride back down and break the nice sword in half in the middle of a battle. To Odin's shock, he neither loses NOR ditches the sword, but keeps it lodged in a tree that he builds his keep *around*. Generations later, one of the young men in the family yanks it outta there and finds a dwarf to reforge it. Three times the dwarf remade the sword, and three times, Sigusmund breaks it against the anvil before saying, "fail again and I test it on you next." Next time, Sigusmund *cuts the anvil in half*. Odin takes notice and taps Loki on the shoulder to see if he's got any ideas. And *BOY DOES HE*.
Greek, Roman and Norse mythologies reflect their societies and people REALLY well. Greek Gods are the Gods of an art loving people with city-states, democracy and lowkey liberal values, Romans took the same Gods but altered their personalities to thatt fitting an all conquering empire, while Norse Gods are perfect representations of a warlike people whos primary profession was raiding.
@@funkytiger6967 Raiding, Seafaring, Foraging (not even a job but they were skilled at it hence the importance of mushrooms), and Farming. And they have Gods that reflect all of those things
The Edda explains exactly why Mjolnir is like that, don't act like it didn't happen just because you started talking about it with only a knowledge of marvel comics and some other graphic novels written by christians
Can we talk about how Louis Arnot was probably a beast of an adventurer? He sailed to and out of Elbaph and Little Garden. Meaning he managed to stay alive for 1 year at Little Garden. Yeah, Dorry and Brogy could have helped him but that's still something. And since Dorry and Brogy were mentioned by Arnot and we know that he viseted Little Garden sometime in the last 100 years. He is not that old that we shouldn't hear more of him. He travelled past Paradise and way too deep on the New World to reach Elbaph and literally managed to live to tell the tale
I don't remember sorry and broggy being on the island in Louis arnot's documenting. He said that "to the inhabitants it truly is a little garden" but I'm pretty sure he was referring to the dinosaurs
If Elbaf had been like the prolouge, I would have wanted it to be as short as possible. But honestly, now that we got this chapter, I want to stay here for as long as possible. One last classic adventure before the end. Plus, im surprised you didn't mention the title of the chapter being "Adventure in Elbalf" :😮 doesnt that mean this is the official start of the arc proper?
If time passes slower on Elbaph, wouldn’t that make The Giants insanely older compared to the rest of the world? Maybe it’s the reason why Giants live so long in the first place. If all this is true…doesn’t that make Dorry and Brogy technically very young as they spent 100 Years Away from Elbaph? Maybe even technically younger than Hajrudin? Wait, actually, based on your theory, they’d be very old.
Totally, I don’t think time passes slower on elbaph but giants age slower than humans, elbaf has what they need to survive, they probably struggle to live outside their land. They got to eat hellaaa or find food their size. I guess it’s just a scale thing if you get what i meann.
Arnot: Don't spend time in Elbaph. Seriously, it's a bad idea Luffy, who speedruns destroying/saving an island in a day: i fail to see how that's my problem
Icelandic sun stones don't work by magic! They used Iceland spar specifically because it is birefrengent: the index of refraction changes depending on the polarization of light that passes through it. (Note: Light waves are transverse waves, meaning they wiggle perpendicularly to the direction they travel, like waves in water. But unlike water waves, which can only wiggle up and down, light can wiggle in any direction other than forward/backward. Polarization is the term used to describe the wiggle direction.) Light from the sun is unpolarized, but light scattered from the rain drops in clouds have a polarization preference depending on angle between the sun, the rain drop, and the observer. This means that when it passes through the crystal, the cloud-scattered light bends in a slightly different direction from the light coming directly from the sun, depending on how you orient the crystal. With a little bit of ingenuity, even a Viking can work out how to tell the exact height and direction of the sun on cloudy, overcast days, which are common in that part of the world, and would have been a major impediment to navigation. If the iceland spar found in wreckage WAS a paperweight, it would be a remarkable coincidence that they would use a crystal with the EXACT unusual optical property that would have allowed them to use it like a real sunstone from the Icelandic eddas. "They were so close to discovering real sunstone! They were using it as a paperweight the whole time! What fools!"
I don’t even know that it’s necessary though, with the rate at which One Pirce characters seem to grow. Luffy bridged the gap between Katakuri and Kaido in just a few weeks. And we know from Rayleigh that Haki users build strength in battles, and we know what Pirates, especially those Luffy associates with, like to do e.g. Sai and Leo on Marygeoise.
The problem with the time dilation theory is that it changes everything around Elbaf, but if Elbaf wasnt planned then you wouldnt really be able to do that
I love how Oda came up with all these different ways to travel insane distances on this incredibly massive planet, but only after he had the largely ordinary Going Merry travel almost halfway around the world in a couple weeks. Seriously, without the exceptional example of going to and from Skypeia, Merry went all the way from Syrup Village to Water 7 pretty much just with sails and the occasional paddle wheel
Having a "sleep mist" around the island could help with the theory of the time dilation. Anyone except the giants entering the island falls asleep and don't realise that their internal clocks is different. As to WHY time moves different in the Island that's the question. Imagine if the "Island coutdown" in this arc would be the fall of the giant tree, seeing as the chains on Loki goes around it imagine if he wants to bring it down.
As far as I know, we havent seen Heaven in Elbaf yet. My theory is that there is a sky island right above Elbaf, but since the Adam Tree is so tall, it goes all the way up to the sky island and THAT is where Heaven is. We haven't explored Urouge yet, so it might be a good way of tying him into things as well.
10:23 another possibility is that louis was saying that although elbaph is a wonderous island hes warning adventurers not to stay too long and be caught up in the giants wars, think of it like being in the purge movie, u wanna get out of dodge before it occurs I think mother caramel outright debunks the time theories, shes been on elbaph longer than any other non-giant character and she aged normally nor gave any signs that shes from a different era
I think the warning about time might have something to do with day light, mirroring what happens in some northern lands. The sun never setting in the Sun Realm could get the crew confused.
They've done tests to recreate the Viking Sunstones and they absolutely worked. It's really simple, they just function as a lens that amplifies light so you can get a decent sense of where the sun is on an overcast day. They likely weren't massively effective in storms but Longships were pretty good at staying a course. You know where the sun was 10 minutes ago? Hunker down, keep rowing, periodically check the sky for a sliver of light through your lens.
The three levels of Elbaf make me think the straw hats will be split between the levels and this will be the standard Oda map showing where they are. My bet is Loki wants to destroy the Adam Tree, and it’ll take everyone to stop his plan
Damn, was binging this dude's old videos, then i was about to go to sleep, 6 am in Florida, then this guy released a new video a few minutes ago?! And I remember he is in Australia 😂
Imagine we spend the entire of Elbaf with the strawhats with some flashbacks. Then when the strawhats leave after what seems like a couple days the next chapter starts with 4 months earlier and it's everything that happened outside elbaf.
I mean, if we did get the time angle that you suggested, it could almost allow Oda to speed up the story, havning events like the possible destruction of Fishman island, and other actions being commited making Luffy the worlds new #1 enemy givign him that bounty similar to an actual Yonko as well as allowing other characters like Koby to catch up in strength to Luffy if he was actually going to try take him down.
You know it would be cool if Nami get a update to her weapon on Elbaph, imagine if her weapon turn into a weapon closer to Thor’s hammer or something close to her original design when she originally had a axe, which could like Thor’s axe stormbreaker from the MCU
Usopp is gonna enter a dual with a giant? I could see that happening. That's his definition of brave warriors, those who don't back down based on pride
I mean, this might not be the case, but the idea that Oda, "had a version of the story without Elbaf," mixed with the message at the end of the chapter might be... less meta and actually more of a cute way to imply that an event in Elbaf is going to change the events of the story in a dark way. We are in the final steps of the story, and in a traditional sense, a darkest point before the end is coming closer and closer. I'm not saying one of the straw hats will die or anything like that (Though, maybe they will), but maybe the truth is that we will WISH that we didn't go to Elbaf because of what takes place here. The theory on time passing differently is definitely something that we wouldn't want for example because that is plenty of time for Imu to flood the planet without the interference of the Straw Hat pirates. Even if time isn't passing differently though, even this secret deal with Loki might cause concern. Perhaps in the same way Usopp ran before becoming a man suited for his Observation Haki, maybe Luffy is going to make one fatal mistake he has to take responsibility for before he can truly be the Nika that is needed in the world's darkest moment. Either way, even if Oda was completely sincere and I'm completely wrong... there's just this part of me feeling like the meta aspect is going to play a part in this arc no matter the case.
I don't think this time theory could apply to Shanks, red hair pirates were in Wano before going into Elbaf, I think they were just doing other "important" searches
While I am far from locked in on the mysterious figure being Shiki, I believe saying people think that just because of the digital manga colouring is a fair bit misleading and arguably disingenuous. Certainly that’s a reason, but it’s more than just that. There’s the patterning on the outfit and the mane of hair. There’s Shiki having been named dropped and even appearing in the manga in recent arcs (God Valley flashback). There’s the Strong World animals appearing. And Oda mentioning Shiki in the SBS after God Valley. As for how Shiki could possibly get along with Crocus, it’s been years, and they are both pirates of the previous era. No reason they can’t sit down for a drink. Would be far from the first time we’ve seen that between former enemies. None of this means it is Shiki of course, I just think suggesting the only reason people think that is because they are unaware Oda doesn’t supervise the colouring is kind of unfair.
I gotta say the editing on your videos is genuinely impressive. Just the little things like gear 5 Luffy jumping around behind Shanks when you start talking about the sun stone make it so good.
What if Killer is dead? Kid would most likely blame shanks for the death of his best friend. That would be a huge incentive to team up against Shanks with Loki
Time passing slowly on Erbaf is nice, but it doesn't work. Roger, who traveled everywhere, would have proceeded to have some beers with friends, then be on Laugh tale in time before dying of sickness or beheading 😅
if time passes differently on elbaph, we could see a sped up version of everyone’s growth on the island, as well as progressing what happens in other places throughout the world at a faster pace. and that would be a super cool way to structure a chunk of a story
One Piece is entering an END GAME phase, which seems to involve a global war. To be present at all the locations they might need to be, they will need some kind of fast travel option, and I think this rainbow travel is the answer.
I feel like the ''overstaying your welcome'' line is not about some specific thing that happens when you stay there too long, like log pose shennanigans, but just that insane shit that would be deadly for most human beings happens all the time there, so the more you stay the more chances you've got of running into a giant bear or something, which for people like Louis Arnote, means death.
Unless the scale is drastically off, or its a series of islands like Totoland, then Elbaph isn't nearly as large as everyone keeps wanting it to be. If you look at the overall picture of it you can see that the castles/village stand out as visible landmarks. Even at a "giant" perspective this would mean that the entire island is still only a few miles across, the start of "hell" bottom area we can see is surrounded by the waves right up to the mountains and the small castle where the crew was taken at the start is clearly visible from off shore on the top of one of those mountains, as is the bridge from it to the "sun" level. The Elbaph arc might be short because its just not as large as we have been lead to believe even including the multiple layers.
Another use of it would be Franky finding a way to use them in his lightbeams and he could call it “Sumbeam” to meet the theme:D I can see Usopp utilizing them too. Such an “insignificant” thing for Giants would have infinite possibilities…
I think the quote from the barmaid in the most recent chapter saying the giants could drink for several days if they came by gives good credence to the idea of time being slower on Elbaf.
Oda could be making a very simple reference when he says "dont stay too long". I think it's like you said yourself, most arcs tend to wrap up in a day or two. But just the first hour of landfall usually ends up in them getting wrapped up in whatever main drama is going on. So in that regard, I think Oda is simply saying "hey, if you stay too long, luffys gonna do something stupid or your all gonna get involved in something you dont need to if you just ###### leave right now."
I like the time dilation idea, but you have to remember the giant pirates left elbaph to go help luffy at egghead and it seems that based on what the new giant pirates say that they weren't gone for a long time
Two things: 1) Is there a way to combine Sun Stone with the Mother Flame? 2) My bet is that Luffy will let slip that he did meet Loki and the Giant's will explain why he's such a bad man, which in turn will cause Luffy to tell what he promised to Loki. Dory and Broggy will see this as an opportunity to eliminate Loki once and for all so they pretend to go through with it only for something to mess up the plan and he escapes anyway.
Egghead might have been 6X chapters, but remember that it contained the subplots for Sabo, Coby and a few inbetween. If you substract those and leave only the "island of the arc" part it is much shorter.
I don't understand the rainbow part. They drew the rainbow but it is an actuall rainbow. A magical one because it is liquid that bends in the air and gives no resistance to ships. Gravity does not pull the ships down. Birds should not be able to fly through the rainbow since it is not made of light. I know somebody is about to say "that's physics and we are talking about anime" but even in fiction, if it is not magic then phenomena must have some logical explanation.
Luffy didn't make a deal with Loki. Loki made fun of Shanks, again. Since Luffy doesn't want to beat up someone who's chained up, so Luffy went to get the key so the fight would be fair.
I feel like Mother Caramel and her operation makes the time distortion theory a little shaky. It would potentially make her a Toki like character, constantly jumping ahead in time.
That first "theory" was straight up ass tbh, "ofc he used the rainbow bridge to get to Marineford" he says whilst looking at it being limited to the levels of Elbaph and Elbaph only. The only reason for you to have it in the video would be to immediately shut it down. EDIT: And no, the silhuette can't be Shiki no matter how you twist it, it's already a dead theory. Oda himself said that he had to put him on the shelf ever since the movie decided that he has the float float fruit and he refuses to have such a thing in his story about the dangerous seas.
now i know the purpose of Road in this arc, he's the reason why luffy met loki that this meeting will potentially lead to new conflict and climax for this arc
I like the idea of time passing slower in elbaph, it would also explain what the followers of loki said. They seemed like they just got knocked out by shanks when luffy appeared, even though its probably been weeks wince shanks left
Its gonna come down to bias or agenda for or agaisnt shiki at that point lol as thats the only reason why shiki and gaban are the most brought up options inspite of it being a new character being the occams razor
Here's a crazy idea to pop out more chapters faster: Become the executive editor. Let your coworkers draw the chapters & oda edit them to his liking or just have oda draw the simple lines & editors etc can fill it all in. Just assuming Oda actually do the majority of the drawing work atm.
I was right, a painter is a thing used to call or create a rainbow bridge. It’s so cool! And the Sun Level of Elbaf is gorgeous! I love the callback with Louis Arnot. I really hope we find out who that silhouette is soon. My guess is either Shiki or Scopper. What kind of deal did Luffy make with Loki? That makes me nervous because Luffy doesn’t typically make backroom deals like this and Oda certainly doesn’t hide them from us.
I mean luffy agreeing to the deal of destroying a pirate crew isnt that out of character, when law first proposed an alliance to luffy to bring down an emperor i thought luffy would refuse cause it seemed out of character, luffy seemed more like he was just on an adventure and if an emperor crosses his path, he'll deal with it then. But when he accepted the alliance, i realized luffy understands more deeply that to become pirate king he needs to defeat strong crews who are perhaps out of his reach even now. Luffy could absolutely accept loki's offer with black beatd or someone else in mind.
Luffy is not the guy to rush his adventure. If he wants to take down Blackbeard, he would not want to be reckless with the process. Maybe Loki tries to take down Blakbeard but fails and that leads to his genuine alliance with Luffy.
How was that out of character for Luffy? He was already taking down the 7 warlords so It'd only make sense to go for a yonko next. Not to mention Luffy already liked Law since they first met back in sabaody and Law also saved his life, I would have been more surprised if he didn't decide to do it.
@@NBAdux first of all i dont mean out of character as in oda made a mistake, i mean out of charagter as in it was a new side to Luffy being revealed. Every warlord we fought before was by happenchance, luffy just wanted to help vivi, it so happened he had to beat crocodile for it, luffy happened to end up on thriller bark and happened to have to fight moria to get their shadows back, fighting a yonko would be the next step, but for everything we had seen from Luffy uptil that point suggests it would have happened naturally as luffy kept crossing the grandline, (like it was for big mom, he took over fishman island and it just so happened to go against big mom, than sanji got taken by her) if Luffy went after kaido just cause he met momonosuke on the way and they asked for help or cause he got told kaido has a road poneglyph so he has to go there, that would have felt more traditional one piece. Instead it was an actual scheme by law and luffy to take down kaido, which i felt was a new luffy, from before. My whole point is that it isnt out of character for Luffy to accept loki's offer, as its plenty similar to law's offer
■■■ Shank's ship actually use kites to fly in the sky, like "Vicky the Viking". ■■■ Elbaf being a Time Room, like Dragon Ball's, is awesome and could justify a time-skip.
I don't think the time theory makes much sense, because we've seen the giants in Big Mom's flashback aging normally. I think it must be related to some kind of tradition like the Winter Solstice Festival, that put in danger the non giants.
I'd be down for a 3 or 4 year vacation in Elbaf. I hardly want this story to end so having a long time to explore an island Oda wanted to skip would be a treat. I imagine that the story will progress quite quickly after we reach Lodestar, likely having the final war and one piece arcs be about 150 chps combined. So having an extra say 90 ish chps to make egghead and elbaf hit the 150 mark would be nice
I did think the exact same thing that you thought at 2:12. But, after thinking about it, Gerd or Goldberg could’ve told Luffy the village was up there. Nonetheless, Luffy probably already knew where the village was.
Does anyone remember Marianne from the Little Garden arc when she used Colors Trap to try to stop the Straw Hats? What if Colors Trap were made out of Painter, also known as Sunstone?
The man in the Silhouette/person who was drinking with crocus might be the "man marked by flames" & i am guessing he is scopper gaban, but i could be wrong.
To tangent, my first thought is... Is Shiki from a clan that uses similar colors for their robes? Does Shiki have a brother, that had behind the scenes rode with Roger's crew? Clearly someone that resembles Shiki is communicating with Crocus and was close to Roger, is going to be a monument for Luffy/OP. I also want to note that Crocus, was not a life-time Roger's pirate. Maybe cross-connect his background, and something will pop up.
Yeah man I'd be a bit sad if it was Shiki, the person that most came to my mind was Scoppa Gaban, and the silhouette in the last page doesn't seem too far off his general appearance
I'm still on the side that I don't think Loki is going to be some evil force and that he's been set up in some kind of way, which has happened in Norse mythology before from my cursory knowledge. I've also seen the suggestion that the deal might have been to let Loki on his crew or something, which would be cool.
Bro, it is so crazy that when I first turned on this video I looked at The thumbnail, and immediately know exactly what we were talking about before liam started talking that's crazy
I want to see Shanks use a standard Sunstone, which is probably significantly bigger than he is. Also, it would be interesting to see Eustass Kid getting treated as a Hero on Elbaf for helping take down Big Mom, who is hated by that nation.
I never understood how no-one decided to take a few hundred log poses to Little garden using an eternal pose and leave them buried there, or that there aren't a ton of corpses there Dorry and Groggy catalogued as to when they arrived, sure odds are Luffy wouldn't have found a working one, but a few decades from goal could have been achievable and left enterprising giants a route to lands uncharted by man.
Exactly. This is my thought wavelength as well. It's not about time space or nature. It's about the politics of the island.
It's because the longer humans stay, the exponentially higher chance of death by snu snu
tbh perhaps the politics & culture of the island is the real problem indeed.

Man... I wish I had a nicer hammer."
This extends to Odin's interference with mortals.
That plan from Odin doesn't sound practical at all
The Edda explains exactly why Mjolnir is like that, don't act like it didn't happen just because you started talking about it with only a knowledge of marvel comics and some other graphic novels written by christians
Just remember that if you have Mjolnir, every problem looks like a nail that needs to be hammered flat.
Egghead took 2 years? didnt it start like... a few month ago...? no? aaah....
seems like you lingered in elbaf for far too long
yh im was shocked when i found out egghead started in 2022 and in the anime it started in january

1:55 “Giant meat” is insane

Seriously, it's a bad idea
Luffy, who speedruns destroying/saving an island in a day: i fail to see how that's my problem

Polarization is the term used to describe the wiggle direction.)
Light from the sun is unpolarized, but light scattered from the rain drops in clouds have a polarization preference depending on angle between the sun, the rain drop, and the observer.
Rainbow Bridge is the most Once Piece thing ever haha!

Having a time dilation could be a good way to give power boosts to allies off island. Maybe Momonosuke and Otama will be full, well trained adults.
10:23 another possibility is that louis was saying that although elbaph is a wonderous island hes warning adventurers not to stay too long and be caught up in the giants wars, think of it like being in the purge movie, u wanna get out of dodge before it occurs
I think mother caramel outright debunks the time theories, shes been on elbaph longer than any other non-giant character and she aged normally nor gave any signs that shes from a different era
The letter is oda talking to luffy. He's like "hey luffy buddy, I want to retire" and luffy is like "ELBAF!!!!!!!"" *FOAMS AT MOUTH*
These Gaint swords Fell down from LITERAL war in Heaven.
It would be funny if the warning “don’t stay too long” meant that any visitor, anyone at all, is going to wind up fighting a few false Sun Gods
Jimi Hendrix at Rainbow Bridge is ONE PIECE of epic music.
2:48 i gotta disagree, kid like luffy would rather do it himself
Kid named finger
I mean, if we did get the time angle that you suggested, it could almost allow Oda to speed up the story, havning events like the possible destruction of Fishman island, and other actions being commited making Luffy the worlds new #1 enemy givign him that bounty similar to an actual Yonko as well as allowing other characters like Koby to catch up in strength to Luffy if he was actually going to try take him down.
can the sunstone be use to evolve luffy like the pokemon?

You know it would be cool if Nami get a update to her weapon on Elbaph, imagine if her weapon turn into a weapon closer to Thor’s hammer or something close to her original design when she originally had a axe, which could like Thor’s axe stormbreaker from the MCU
Usopp is gonna enter a dual with a giant? I could see that happening. That's his definition of brave warriors, those who don't back down based on pride
Love from Nepal to the Man on Internet ❤
Internet man do you think rainbows will be important in end piece?
My small theory is that this Sunstone will help other pirates, rev too invade marijoa so quickly with ships
I don't think this time theory could apply to Shanks, red hair pirates were in Wano before going into Elbaf, I think they were just doing other "important" searches
If Oda finishes one piece in this decade I’ll become a pirate
If it IS Shiki, I just wonder how he got the wheel out of his skull, as it is a pretty big part of his design
@@Vliegendetapir Maybe it's under the hat?

I gotta say the editing on your videos is genuinely impressive. Just the little things like gear 5 Luffy jumping around behind Shanks when you start talking about the sun stone make it so good.
What if Killer is dead?
Kid would most likely blame shanks for the death of his best friend.
That would be a huge incentive to team up against Shanks with Loki
that would finally make kid actually think before doing something and actually training

I think the silhouette guy is Louis arnaut, and he’s been in elbaf for hundreds of years because of time dilation
10:21 what does the time flowing differently mean for Loki saying ge has been imprisoned for 6 years, is it 6 years in Loki time ore real world time?
wouldn't surprise me at all if loki just offered luffy food
My prediction for the warning is, "If you stay too long, you won't want to leave. "
Nah
Oda just sucks at scaling stuff

I really want Franky to find a way to automize sunstone to draw rainbows and Sunny can beam a rainbow road as they sail through the air🤌🏻
Another use of it would be Franky finding a way to use them in his lightbeams and he could call it “Sumbeam” to meet the theme:D
I can see Usopp utilizing them too.
I like the time dilation idea, but you have to remember the giant pirates left elbaph to go help luffy at egghead and it seems that based on what the new giant pirates say that they weren't gone for a long time
Oda: “Nobody can fly”
Also oda: rainboo (oobi voice)
Magic is real
Luffy didn't make a deal with Loki. Loki made fun of Shanks, again. Since Luffy doesn't want to beat up someone who's chained up, so Luffy went to get the key so the fight would be fair.
I feel like Mother Caramel and her operation makes the time distortion theory a little shaky. It would potentially make her a Toki like character, constantly jumping ahead in time.
0:04 Rainbow Bridge - the instant teleportation device by Asgard and guarded by Heimdall.
If shanks used the bridge to get to Marineford, how did nobody see it? Ass theory
@@Weaponator18 Not to mention, how would he able to reach Marineford on a bridge that only exists on this specific island?

I'm pretty sure Loki just promised Luffy news on Shanks, That's what was indicated in the last chapter.
now i know the purpose of Road in this arc, he's the reason why luffy met loki that this meeting will potentially lead to new conflict and climax for this arc
I like the idea of time passing slower in elbaph, it would also explain what the followers of loki said. They seemed like they just got knocked out by shanks when luffy appeared, even though its probably been weeks wince shanks left
We need a great debate video between GLR and Tekking101. It's Shiki vs It's Not Shiki.

Loki: I'll kill your enemies if you free me
Luffy: Nah
Loki: ...I'll give you meat
Luffy: I'll die for you
Oda-Sensei is really a treasure
This makes so much sense! Though I do love the underwater current theory
I think the Hercules hades reference clue was more literal than people realize. I think Loki promised Liffy the return of Ace.
