This anime potrays a person's first love and especially love at a young age so well. The awkwardness, the shyness, the uncertainties. It's so beautifully put together and like, it actually looks like it's the love of two young teenagers- it's so sweet- they aren't sexualized - tbh, when, I watched the first few episodes- I was like , why is it so slow paced or something and that's when it hit me that the media has bombarded us with such fast paced over night steamy romances that we've in true sense forgotten how sweet and naive love looks like. And the fact that there wasn't alota drama to it - made it even better, in romances, I feel like the producers/writers always feel the need to pull in some drama to make the whole thing interesting- and the ending was so well pieced together through- simple, plain, sweet and beautiful!! What a fun watch !

Its been at least a couple of years since I first discovered this video, and it always gives me goosebumps because this anime hits so close to home, since I had a very similar experience to what happens in the anime, my girlfriend and I have been together for 7 years as of 2022, met in middle school, started dating just a couple months after, learned a lot what love really is, what having a relationship really is, because of circumstances, I had to leave the country, she had to stay behind, its been 2 years since the last time we were together, everytime I see the main characters of this anime, I see my girlfriend and myself reflected on them, how we learned from each other, how we fought hard to be where we are, and how we are still fighting to be together again, this anime will always bring me to tears and will hold a special place in my heart until my last day
