Insane. In Dayton Ohio another band COUNTERFLUX died in a car crash almost at the exact same time that Viola Beach did. Cherish life. Live your dreams. We are transcending. Time is an illusion. The soul is eternal. Music is timeless.
One of my favorite bands is called Hippo Campus and anytime I listen to them, they remind me of Viola Beach. Its so heartbreaking knowing that they are gone. Rest in peace.

Above the group is the STYX Sign at 0:36. In Greek Mythology the RIVER STYX carried the Dead over to "the other side", by way of a ferryman.Not only did they ALL die--but their car plunged into a canal (which possibly led into a river) I find this very creepy in a metaphysical way.
This is a lovely song, Swings and Waterslides, I listened to this many times before the tragedy happened, my condolences to their family's, I can empathise as my two sons in law passed away, a few years ago,
they will never be forgotten, nor will Viola Beach.
I really miss you guys :(

The same sentiments as Mark John; I'd never heard of them, but being a fellow musician it is absolutely devastating that such young and talented individuals have been lost, never to come together again to make beautiful music. This track is a shining example of their talent and their love of a 'great tune'. RIP Viola Beach; may you make unbelievable music in heaven.

It's an amazing song - an earworm. The guitar work is absolutely infectious - reminds me of the West African highlife players of the 1970s and 80s - and this is the definitive performance.
