Some of these are absolutely well done and practical. The duct tape repair on the boots, I helped with 20+ years ago while cruising my boat up the remote BC coast. A woman on another boat had her sneakers sole come apart (her only shoes),She asked if I had any duct tape on board? Told her to give me 15 minutes and I would dig it out. Duct tape should be in every tool box /repair kit.
Awesome. Here in Australia we might use the word ‘bogan’ instead of readneck But labels aside, what a brilliant expose of bottom up, unhindered ingenuity. Given the opportunities, the common folk can not only sort this shit out, but we can show you how to party while we are at it ! Good work, cheers.
@@SoupDrawing Yep. For anyone reading this, on the lower RH, see the gear shaped icon? Click on that and choose 'playback speed'. Then... choose. Even a redneck can figure it out.
I loved the video and these were truly genuine "Red Neck" for sure~!! I thought we might see the small car with a gas generator sitting on the trailer hitch with a room air conditioner sticking out of the back window with duct tape as weather stripping. Anyway, I liked and subscribed~!!
at 6:13 this guy makes everything, just look at what is hanging on the side of the house and what can you imagine is it like inside? just ck out the front door work, amazing, must be Grandpa McGiver
@@timmy2dogsable Time for you to do some google searching, there were about 10-12 of these made, diesel bros may have found one and restored it, but it wasn't this one pictured.
My friend skinned a VW and welded together and made a VW profile leaned it against his fence he it got so much attention. He started making them out of plywood. And now from the road it looks like he has a pasture full of VWs which turned out to be very common in this part of the country . having one VW in your pasture is rare but a pasture with 50 isn't 😅
Duct tape engine repair at 18.05.I was on a flight to Vancouver, in 1977 and one of the engines had an intake panel lift and was repaired in the same way.Sat there and watched him do it.
I've done 10% of these (including the air frier @ 16:06), have wanted to do 1/3 at some point, and inspired by all the others... except the bolts used as fuses @14:48. (That is called the "I want my car to burn up" technique.)
I have a piece of furniture with a drilled out nickel for a washer. Now you KNOW that was done on a Sunday when the hardware store was closed bc nobody would spend 5 cents on 1 washer.
17:39 isn't that how monster trucks are equipped to make them narrow enough for regular road transport between shows? Not saying it isn't hillbilly. All monster trucks are.
nothing rednack aboiout a few of these , the first 1:11 into video is actually a cutom made boat trailer called a boaterhome , manufactured in the mid 80's but Boaterhome and late 90s by Boatorhome and cost in the $180 to $190 K range made by two different companies and only a little over 20 were made. They were a bit impracticle because most state due to length and sheer size required special licening and most waterways dont have access for a beast this size id take the one in photo in a heart beat to restore just for a connversation piece
I actually don't see anything at all wrong with the 9 27 18 wheeler/camper- at the price they want now- you can easily buy a day cab and used camper and makes this and have a way better vehicle.
im going to need you to send me a case of beer or im reporting your video for copy right infringement and have it taken down. thats my car in your video at 11:11 but dont tell my wife steffy, because that aint her sitting in my car!OK!!!!
raypitts4880, It is not the viewer's responsibility to make a video watchable. That responsibility goes to the person or persons begging everyone to subscribe and like.
Best 18 minutes I've spent in a long time! Thanks for the laughs. Wish some of these people were my neighbors, and glad others aren't...

GOOD ON YA !
I think 'Bogan' is Irish originally.
OOO HELL YEA
Ah red neck ingenuity at it's finest ! Love it !
The riviera boat tail for a truck bed cover was executed perfectly.
Could slow the progression so we appreciate this genius more.
You can change the playback speed if you want it to go slower.

the fangs clip got me
🤣
Some of the ideas people come up with are brilliant in a crazy kinda way!
I'm amazed I watched that all the way through. The music helped, actually. George Barris would be proud of some of those.
As a non-American, I see some displays of creativity here. Just not always the safest ones...
I am torn between “ where there is a will there is a way “ and “ just because you can doesn’t mean you should” 😂
That Hot Rod Lincoln @9:46 was a work of art.
This is by far one of your best videos yet. Keep up the fantastic work! 🌟
I love the Gremlin at 18:00. Cross between a gremlin and a corvette. 😊
Remember, if it works, it ain't stupid.

The wrap at 16:23 is pure genius.

What's really funny is that I've actually seen quite a few of these and done quite a few too. Ya gatta do what ya can with what ya got!

The one at 17:20 is from Top Gear. Its a Fiat Panda.
Graduates of that new midnight welding class
12:24 "Chicken of the Tree"
Some I had to scratch my head and wonder what I was lookin' at. The rest were sheer genius.
As the song says : "Country folk will survive."
the gate latch using the seat belt---it was recalled by GM
Love the 'Boat tail canopy on the Astoria pickup
@1:10 , That's a boat nested into the van. i saw a video of one launching from a ramp .
Some amazing vehicles and ingenuity
Had to watch twice, and the motorcycleles crossed with mowers,I have done, SUBBED of course 😎😎👍👍👍👍👍
Ok, have to admit some flaws in actual practicality, but I do love the craftmanship of the chainsaw with that nice wooden handle.👍

Yep, the swinging babydoll behind the big rig cab is a bit spooky.
Sent that picture to a trucker friend.
"Gonna get one!"
I'm a huge fan of your work. This video was incredible! 🌟
The van boat combo is a factory made vehicle.
Came to say the same thing, there was one featured on Hagerty not long ago.
No it's custom built diesel brothers bought it. Got it running went to the lake with it

Makes me think about myself a bit, cos there lots of those trucks and trikes I really like.. Lifted my day, thank you all the best Keith
I love the International (?) 6x6 camper rig, I'd need a elevator tho lol :) Fun collection, nice to see some new stuff as others have said.
Honestly - I done about half of this stuff. But to be fair, I’m old.
The one at 15:22 is a real sad and a crying shame. Its a McLaren MP4 12C that has absolutely no business being treated this way. Thanks.
These are very ingenious.
1:10 looks like the rig from "Coolest guy at the boat ramp" video on YT. Sad to see it in such decay.
Thanks it brought back a lot of memories.
4:58 That would have got me to mow the lawn as a kid.
1:04 : That is Hungary / hungarian beer commercial sunshade
the blue Cadilac eldo-camper was slick, 500 cubic inche front wheel drive go anywhere with comfort just behind ya

This alone is worth a sub from me ! Love it !
14.50. You just know that's gotta be safe. 16.28. A mate of mine did this exactly, 45 years ago. lol
Put big cheese eating grin on my face. thanks
The thing is, I would be interested in trying some of this. The outboard boat motor powered Taurus was something I hadn't thought about.
Love the music.
10:33 this (mostly) was a Saab 96 ;-)
love AC window 'shim stock'
niece pieces of dieselpunk art
Hot dog baked potato sounds good 😅
Gonna try that for sure
Some of this is pure maker genius. Some... not so much.
I shouldn't be impressed by these but this is kinda cool
1:12 see a vid called coolest guy at the boat ramp to see another one of these in action . amazing .
I too would like to know more about the gravy hot tub. 😉
The boaterhome is a real, if rare design, one was bought by HeavyDsparks
17:39 isn't that how monster trucks are equipped to make them narrow enough for regular road transport between shows? Not saying it isn't hillbilly. All monster trucks are.
A lawnmower with a turbo charger!
Sometimes you just gotta make due with what you have some excellent ideas some I'd be a little scared to attempt 😅 😬 😄
8:40 ? What was the deal?
Gotta say I kinda liked that Lincoln Mk III, though!

7:12 Gonna tell you a story about a man named Jed..................
I only clicked this for the ratrod in the thumbnail.

A course, here in Australia, we're a lot more tasteful than that. More classy. [sniff ~ cough]
See I knew the grass was greener on the other side...
Engineering excellence.

or better slow vid down to 50 or 25 speed
the answer is at your finger tips

WHAT THE METH?
Rather pitiful! Best of luck!
Got tired of pictures flipping by so fast. 👎@4:12
