It’s weird that the Ausländerbehörde asked a 2500€ warranty for her, because she is 10 years old. Now I did some research and it’s like you said 1250€ and not 2500€ ❤ that keeps the light of hope on. Hi, i am applying for short term visa to meet my spouse who is in germany on student visa. I am giving his bank statements showing that he is my sponsor. I have a normal invite letter from him stating reasons and all the details of travel. I have his meldebescheinigung as support for my stay as well. I have given my leave letter from company along with salary slips and IT return. Do i still need this official obligation letter??? i have included marriage certfificate as well as it was written that if sponsor is husband then they will need this. Also, I dont have much money in my account but since husband is sponsor, he has sufficient funds. Are there chances of visa approval??

However, the program I want to follow is in another city, the program is in hannover and my friend lives in Stuttgart. I haven't heard anything new about this procedure, but due to Corona it might be the case that they will not allow visit visa. but you can check that from the Embassy in your country..

You can buy the reservation .. usually it is free..

I have been invited by a friend in Germany we did everything of the above but my visa was rejected saying I also need a bank statement hotel reservations and flight intinery, he had more than 4000 euros in his account, formal obligation letter, his apartment papers, three months monthly payment papers and his employment letter.

I want to invite my fiancee over here. Well, she is my fiancee now, but I intend for a Nikah in India. She won't be getting her marriage certificate soon. Is it alright if I mention her relationship to me as 'Verlobt' in the Verpflichtungserklärung?
My second question is, I recently transferred an amount of around a 1000 € in her bank account which will be visible in her bank statement (one of the checklist points of a visit visa). Is that gonna be problem if the consulate sees this transaction as a single biggest transaction over the three month time period? Should she mention that in her personal covering letter (to avoid any suspicion) that this amount was transferred by me (her fiance)?

Well I would suggest invite her as a "Friend", because if you invite her as a "Verlobt" then Embassy can reject her visa, because they will say that you guys will get married here in Germany... I would suggest watch part 2 of this video as welll...
So now if you invite her as a friend, then those 1000 euros could be a problem but can I ask why you want her to visit Germany before your marriage ?

If the person you will be living with is only starting to work in January next year so they dont have the 3 months salary statements required and their foreign office doesnt accept savings statements. Can a family member of my host take on the obligation themselves because there are German and have been employed for a long time so they have the necessary documents?
Somebody else can be the host... it doesn't have to be a blood relative.... and if the person just started the job then you can show your work contact and they can find his/her salary on the work contract
@@DesiInWonderland Thank you. So the host is my friend (so not blood relative), my question is whether it will still be acceptable if his father takes on the legal obligation financially and states that and he fills in the verpflichtungserklarung ?
It also wont be possible for him to do that because he only starts his job in January 2020 and my trip is for December prior to this

Thank you! :) My question is: As a student who is done with his/her masters degree and is currently on a job-search visa - wants to invite siblings for the convocation/graduation ceremony - would the invitation from university be enough to support their visit visa process, or an additional verpflichtungserklärung will help? (Keeping in mind that the siblings will be supporting themselves completely, without any financial or other help from this student).
You are welcome and thanks for subscription :) If your siblings are supporting themselves financially then they don't need verpflichtungserklärung . Your university's invitation will be suffice...

Original AND copy of the formal invitation / obligation letter from the host in Germany (Einladungs- und Verpflichtungserklärung).
Please note:
If the applicant is able to support him- or herself financially, a formal obligation letter does not need to be submitted.
In this case the applicant has to
- prove that he or she is holding adequate funds to cover the travelling and living costs during their stay and
- has to provide a covering letter from the host in Germany explaining the purpose of the visit.
Beside that invitation letter from University, you can also write a covering letter stating your siblings purpose of travelling and what you guys have planned beside graduation ceremony. If you have more questions, feel free to ask .. :)

If there is any special stamp and sign on it then please send the original one but it is electronically signed then I think it doesn't matter. But I would suggest be on the safe side and send them the original one that you got from your university ..

You don't have to.. as in my case, they returned the bank statement of my family by saying that they don't want it if they have this obligation letter.. So it is better to take it with you, may be they will return it ..

Hello Geeta, yes I would say with that net salary it would be hard to invite somebody. I would suggest you can either go for the deposit option or your invitee can bear all the expenses and then you don't have to get this obligation letter... this is only application if you want to sponsor your invitee..

This only makes the sponsorship or funds part easy... but you need to somehow convince the visa officer that you will return to.your country... this can be done either showing that your parents are dependent on you or if you have any property... any connection which will show that you will return to your country...

If you find a sponsor in Germany then you don't need a blocked account or if you find a scholarship then you also don't need any blocked account... The most renowned scholarship for Germany is called DAAD .. I also made a video on it .. You can watch that series.
Sometimes, the university also offers scholarships but those are not easy to find... First, you have to check your course's website and then check if that university scholarship...

Thanks for the message. Actually the problem is that now a day countries are only processing important visa's like student, spouse or work visa. You can invite him on the tourist visa but currently they are bit hesitant about it. If Panama Embassy is not issuing the tourist visa. then your friend has no choice except the student visa option

I think that Verpflichtungserklärung is different than this one. It could be the same because it has a field where you write the purpose of travel and how long your invitee stay here in Germany. but I am not sure. You can ask your ABH about it. they can tell you better if you need the same form or you need something else

These things will not make any difference to your Visa application .... If your documents are complete and genuine then you will get your visa...

It doesn't matter if your cousin is white or not. He can only issue you this letter for short term visit visa or if you apply for students visa then he can issue the same letter for your study which helps you skip blocked amount

Do you have an appointment to get married in Germany. ? Well visit visa is only for 3 months, and usually Standesamt takes 6-12 months to verify your docs and validate your marriage.

Which citizenship do you have... because if you already have an appointment then it might be that all things are sorted out. And once you are married then you visa can be converted to spouse visa. But as this is a very unique case. I have less expertise in this... maybe your fiance can ask Ausländerbehörde or Standesamt about this

Usually, the Schengen visa is valid for 90 days so max she can stay 90 days in Germany.

One of my Libyan students is interested to come to Europe, and I want to help him because he's in a lot of danger where he currently lives. I'm looking for advice how to do this. It's quite urgent.
