Excellent video! One of the best out there for teaching the profession-and all because of the genuine commentary.
You're obviously an excellent mentor as well!
I'd like to hear about how you "found your style" and whether or not it's the style that you started out aiming for?
Or do you think we are all just destined to land on a style that we're naturally good at and enjoy?
Do you know professional tattoo artists that primarily work in a style that they don't really enjoy?
Thank you for such a detailed breakdown of what you do, and especially what you think about when you approach a piece.
Keep at it and thanks again for the real talk Adrien!

My advice is dont edit photos. Put them up as how they look in real life even with the redness of the skin and the scratchy shading on some areas that disnt came out smooth. People has to understand that its skin that youre tattooing not a paper

I have a full time job outside of tattooing and been getting depressed that I can’t be in the shop just to tattoo because my clientele isn’t Up but I came home and seen this video and got inspired again. Even inspired me enough to try my first portrait. It went good but how do you tattoo with out irritating the skin and getting the shading so soft?

    • @ad742n
