Welcome to the birth of a legend. Here’s a little background info on Angelina. “When I sing I go to another world. The world is endless. It's like, full of happiness. I love it. It's amazing. And when I am on stage, I don't want to go [leave the stage]. [laughing]. I just want to be on stage" A snippet of Skaylan’s interview of Angelina Jordan (age 12) on Norwegian TV - November 2018. ♥👣👸🏻🎷 What you will soon realize is that Angelina today at 17 Angelina is already the best Jazz singer on the Planet! IMO Soon to be one of the Best Vocalists of All Time. ♥👣👸🏻 Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sonny & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with what I consider her first Masterpiece performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. Shortly after winning she was designated a National Treasure by the Norwegian people. ♥👣👸🏻 There is video of Angelina recorded by her mother Sarah Astar singing a couple of lines of "I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston when she was 18 months old. She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian Grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in her own right as an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rd language behind Norwegian and Farsi along with Japanese and some German and perhaps more. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru UA-cam of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own. Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. Angelina chooses her own songs and she is absolutely fearless. No song is too big and no artist is too Iconic. All the most Iconic songs by the most Iconic singers in music history. Angelina has said singing to her is as important to her as breathing. ♥👣👸🏻 She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. Her Tic-Toc is full of these impromptu performances wherever she might be whether in the car, walking around the neighborhood or in a parking Garage. Accompanied by most often a simple guitar or piano her performances are always incredible. Add a band or even a full orchestra as in her performance for Quincy Jones at his request singing his arrangement of 'Fly Me to the Moon'. The same arrangement he did for Frank Sinatra. This opened for his 85th birthday celebration at the 02 Arena in London. ♥👣👸🏻 She is well known worldwide in the industry. Her family and Angelina have been holding back turning down many of the biggest in the industry while she finishes school. Remember she just turned 17 January 10th. They finally signed with Republic Records about three years ago after getting a deal that gave her control of her artistic vision and has since released 2 originals, 'Million Miles' & '7th Heaven' plus a soundtrack for the New Movie "The Hating Game" which opens with her song 'Mercy' performed most notably by Duffy. Republic has labeled her their Highest Priority and assigned a team to her including Rob Christy a multiple Grammy Winner, often on the piano in many of her performances and a whole team of equally qualified professionals. She has worked with some of the best musicians in the industry and always get exactly what she wants. Some call her the Boss and have immense respect for her. She is due to release her 1st album promised by Angelina to be soon. She has been diligently perfecting her craft since winning Norway's Got Talent singing all over the world, Germany, Japan, Korea as well as TV appearances such as The View, Little Big Shots and most notably America's Got Talent where she premiered her Iconic Performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which Queen gave her the copyright For her version available on iTunes and Spotify included on her Album 'Magic' which she released on her own along with a Christmas Song collection. After Heidi's golden buzzer for her audition of BR, Angelina went directly to the finals where she sang YBR. After the "secret voting", she placed 6th in the competition and was eliminated from the competition. After first refusing to sign with AGT because of contract demands, a re-worked contract was eventually signed which freed Angelina from any commitments or record deal if she performed. She has also sung for Many Heads of State including Barack Obama and a couple of songs opening for Norah Jones in Korea. She also sang at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at 8 yrs old for Malala and another recipient. Mostly she has sung for charities helping raise millions for children charities and climate change. The great part is that most of it has been well documented often by herself and her family. Her Grandmother who introduced her to Jazz at 3 & 4 yrs old is behind the camera more than anyone else. Love the reactions. Get ready for a deep dive. She is worth it! Love from the Land of Vikings ♥👣👸🏻
Awesome, Welcome to Angelina World! She was 9 here and is now 17, best singer on the Planet. She just released an EP from Republic Records with 6 songs. All songs are Grammy Worthy, enjoy the ride over 200 different songs, God Bless!
NO it was not from Hocus Pocus although it was used there it is from Screaming Jay Hawkings, the originator of whom she is holding up the image of and you need to watch his performance to understand her performance
She gave a shout out to the original artist who is Sreamin Jay Hawkins from 1956, picture on the candle she held up. She arranged this after his original not the other covers of which there are many. Nice first reaction to the generational talent of Angelina Jordan Astar. We fans number in the millions and you will get a boat load of information. 🥰🥰
You got some catching up brother, Angelina has some 150+ covers and originals, she just released an EP with 6 songs. The Angels will fill you in, thats what she calls her fans. Have fun.
Now go forward 2 yrs listen to Loving You when she was 11 then leap back listen to Gloomy Sunday when she was 7. She might remind you of Amy still but see who else prominent comes to mind with those songs. Both pure jazz.
Another spell was cast by 9yo Angelina. Welcome to “The World Of Angelina Jordan Astar” (full name). “The Barefoot Princess With The Velvet Voice And A Mona Lisa Smile”. Born Jan 10, 2006 in Oslo Norway. From her audition on Norway’s Got Talent (2014 - age 7 - Gloomy Sunday "Billy Holiday") through the final on America’s Got Talent The Champions (2020 - age 13 - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road "Sir Elton John") and the 130+ videos in between you will not be disappointed. This includes three originals song: “What Is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” Since then she has done many new covers and now her new singles "Million Miles" and “7th Heaven”, along with her movie soundtrack "Mercy" from the motion picture “The Hating Game”. As well as her brilliant version of Elvis’s “Suspicious Mind”. My personal favorite is her cover of Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die". Although “Mercy” is really growing on me. Let’s analyze the video: 1st you see how small and cute she is. 2nd you see she is barefoot (story below) 3rd You see her making her “Wish List” of suggested changes to the song. 4th the band leader taking note of the changes. 5th Angelina is holding a candle with “Screemin’ Jay Hawkin’s (original artist 1956) picture on it. 6th the old soul in her voice. She is the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina wrote and her Grandmother illustrated a book about why she sings barefoot. She was on a trip to Iran where her grandmother is from and met a street girl weighing people for money. Angelina sat and talked with the girl. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, a doctor but that it could never happen. Angelina told her to never give up hope. The girl complimented Angelina on her shoes and Angelina noticed her scarred bare feet so she gave them to her, and the little girl told Angelina she would pray for her every day. Angelina sings barefoot to this day to remind herself (and the world) that there are still children in need. All book proceeds go to charity.
Great reaction to a vocal tour-de-force! You've done it now. You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (170+ covers plus original songs - all on YT) and you will see! She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse to the Beatles (and many others in between) and do them all justice! If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by a piano or guitar, in front of professional studio musicians or a 40-piece military band. With her immense vocal toolkit, arranging ability (yeah, that too, since about 8yo or so) and the work ethic to make what she does only 'seem' effortless, she will hopefully be touching hearts for a long time to come. Why God has performed the miracle of touching the world with one of such talent, musical IQ, commitment, and generosity as Angelina we can wonder but we must all marvel. Welcome aboard the AJ train! Please react to more of her impressive library. She is 17yo currently and just released her first EP with Republic Records. It is truly a conundrum when we try to rationalize how it is possible that this tiny sweet-faced 9yo Norwegian girl can step up to a microphone, flip some switch within her, become this "beast-mode" version of herself (most probably named "AJ don't play"), deliver an extraordinary and musically and socially sophisticated performance, then just-like-that return to the pensive young lady once again... There aren't words for this! "I Put a Spell On You" has been covered many times and is recognized as a classic, yet almost never is the tone of the original 1956 "Screamin" Jay Hawkins version captured. This is because Hawkins was the original shock rock guy (think Ozzy Osbourne type craziness) and his style is difficult to emulate and also because his dated delivery is uncomfortable and stereotypical to our modern sensibilities. Yet Angelina respectfully sings his own song in a manner that exceeds his (Hawkin's image is on the candle she holds at the start of her video). You must go and listen to Hawkins' original (and throw in a couple of "famous" covers as well) to see the true genius in how AJ incorporates many of his vocal elements [usually omitted by most singers]. This shows another aspect of her musical IQ and arranging genius (not to mention her masterful control of her vocal instrument equaled by few others regardless of age). Welcome to the world of Angelina Jordan. She is definitely an old soul. A child prodigy and influenced by Jazz at a very young age. Her mentors are Ella Fitzgerald, Etta. James, Louis, Armstrong Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Elvis.! You will find Angelina has the influences of all these great iconic singers. She is now 17 and has released her first EP debut album recently with six tremendously ready radio mainstream tunes. Many, many reactors, vocal coaches and fans have joined the journey of joy and happiness that Angelina Jordan will bring you. You have only about 180 covers and originals to go. Everyone is an original take on the cover and she makes it her own. You'll never be disappointed by any of these and only amazed. She is known as our barefoot princes, the queen of jazz and the girl with a thousand voices. Thank you for reacting to Angelina Jordan. Keep posting my friend and sending much thanks and love from Canada. 👍🇨🇦❤️
This was her project. The arrangement of the music & how she wanted it performed. Those hand movements in the beginning were her instructions to the band. The guy's face on the candle was Screamin' Jay Hawkins, whom she did the cover of this song on.
Song by Screaming Jay Hawkins, 1956, many covers since. Everyone was drunk during the recording resulting in an early version shock rock. AJs unique version trades the witch doctor theatrics for intense emotional outburst more in line with Jay's original meaning for the song. A work of sheer genius from a 9 year old.
She is all grown up now (6 ft tall) & turns 18 in Jan '24. I've been hooked on her music for over 5 years & listen to her every day. She just released her debut EP album called "Old Enough," with 6 original, amazing songs. She's been held back from a full-time music career by her family who insisted she finish her basic schooling first, which she did last month. She's the most amazing vocal artist of my lifetime. That may sound crazy, but after you listen to her back catalog of nearly 200 songs from many different genre & styles of music that she has produced from ages 7-17, so far. Liked & subed for more Angelina reactions.
A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice. She was only 9 years old when she performed this song. It is her tribute to Screamin' Jay Hawkins, an American singer/songwriter. He wrote and performed it in 1956 and Angelina based her performance on the original, although she did make some subtle alterations to both lyrics and melody. As you continue your journey of discovering Angelina, you will come to realise that she does her own arrangements of most of the cover songs she sings. The differences may not be immediately discernible on first listening to them, but they are there. There may be a subtle change in tempo or tone, or more inflexion on some words, or a phrase may differ in pitch from the original. The amount of control that Angelina has over her voice cannot be measured. She never hurries a song. She sings in such a way that the emotions in the lyrics are felt by the listener. In this video did you notice:Angelina finishing some notes and handing them to the pianist, who smiled as he read them? They were her wishes (instructions) to the band how she wished therm to play the music. In the band, she was called a boss.
Great reaction and insight! Norwegian born Angelina Jordan began singing at the age of one and a half, and by age three was listening to jazz and classics legends on repeat. Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became the youngest ever vocalist to win an international Got Talent Show! Her performance at 9 years old of Screamin Jay Hawkins, I Put a Spell on You is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Angelina also went viral on America's Got Talent the champions in 2020 with her unique versions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Angelina sings in English which unbelievably is her third language! She is a true prodigy. She is now 17, and has recorded a huge library of songs, including covers and several originals. A major attraction to Angelina's music is the emotion and attitude she conveys, although she has not experienced the life events! She is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices as she can adjust her tone, style, and register for any song or genre. She was signed by Republic Records when she was 14. She was not been widely promoted for a few years, as her family wanted to allow her a normal childhood. However, things are changing rapidly as she is now graduating school. She has just released her new original single from Republic Records, Love Don't Let Me Go, and a new EP of five originals is scheduled for early summer. A world tour is apparently in the works for the fall, and possibly a full album. Here is a chronological playlist from ages 6 to 17, of Angelina's 191 videos including tiktok and Instagram. The first dozen or so are her originals and a few specialty songs. Then it starts chronologically at age 6. ua-cam.com/play/PL2v8kgVeo4EbQD6l_WAVjOfItquzW7oEc.html Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond. Angelina captures hearts because she is humble and has compassion for humanity. Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace. I trust this will cause you to embrace her as millions of others have, and that you will continue down the rabbit hole from which you will not want to escape. Peace and love. Please remember to include in your description the artist Official Channel as well as the original video, if you have not already done so. Verbally encouraging your viewers to like comment and subscribe to yours and the artists' videos and channels boosts subscriptions and algorithms for both of you.
This has been considered one of her top 5 for years, until the most recent EP she just dropped with 6 original songs at 17 years old now. This child has amazed since she was 2 years old and continues to amaze today. And she has nearly 200 covers and originals online that documents her rise since she first sang jazz on Norway's Got Talent at 7 years old...and won. Good reaction.
Welcome to the world of Angelina Jordan. She was 9 years old when she arranged and performed this song. She won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 years old. She actually additioned for it when she was 7 years old. She is 17 now and just released her first EP with Republic Records. I'm going to include some information about her that was compiled by another fan named Andy Schnell. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman. Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on UA-cam. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage. Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Musicians working with Angelina would call her the boss since she knew exactly how she wanted to sing the song and would confidently instruct the musicians. While one could say Angelina was mimicking other artists, there is no doubt she had her own style and created her own arrangements, even at this early age. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition to trim the number of vocalists who passed their audition, and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. The vast majority of the prize money was donated to charity benefitting poor children. Record company executives flew their private jets to Norway to attempt to sign 8 year old Angelina but all were thankfully rebuked. Disney also made an offer but not accepted. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore and Mexico among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14. At age 11, Angelina recorded her “It’s Magic” album which has, at times, been in the top 10 best selling jazz albums. The album can be purchased on iTunes or Amazon. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter and allowed Angelina to copyright her version. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT which would give Simon any control over her career. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on UA-cam. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. On UA-cam, search on The Complete Works of Angelina Jordan as Rusty Shackleford has put all songs in one file and has a complete playlist in the description of that video. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song. Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. In December 2022, Angelina performed at the Asian American Awards in Los Angeles. On 2/27/23, Angelina performed at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris, France, with a viewing audience in the millions. Personally, Angelina is a great human being and her music came into my life when I needed it most. Her music has improved the quality of my life more than I can express. I now introduce her to as many people as I can, with the hope her music will do the same for others. We know once her family believes the time is right and allows Republic Records to fully promote her, she will become the superstar she has always dreamt and believed she would be. I encourage others to use this biography to help educate others about the love, empathy, magic and beauty that is Angelina Jordan Astar and her unique music.
I always love watching very first time listeners to Angelina no matter which song it is. This amazing young lady, now 17, has been honing her craft since she was in the crib! So glad you’ve discovered her, she will lift your soul! There is so much to say about her but I’m sure you will learn about her from others. She has just released her first EP entitled “Old Enough”. Six original songs, they’re all amazing. She has made about 180 covers, all available on UA-cam, some performed in concerts, some in studio, and many in her own home, every one a gem! Welcome to the World of Angelina!
Angelina was 9 years old in this performance - Her nationality is Norwegian but is fluent in English even at this age - This song was not arranged for her - she wrote the vocal arrangement based on listening to the original Screamin' Jay Hawkins version and communicated to the band how she wanted it to be played - in fact, at the beginning of the video you see Angelina writing down some last-minute changes and it is read by the bandleader. You also notice that her own handwritten notes are on the music stand in front of her as she sings. For more insight into how Angelina works, here is a rehearsal video with some of the same band members at the same age (9 yrs old) - You will see that she is aware of what each musician is doing and communicates to them what she wants to do. The first thing she says is that she wants to start, followed by her saying she wants to start over, later she tells the pianist that the key is too low and that she wants to raise it a half-tone, then at the end of the song she changes the ending on the fly. The spoken language is Norwegian: ua-cam.com/video/80f3t3dmBbk/v-deo.html
🎉🎉 Another quick recommendation... Angelina has such a wide variety of genres tied up in her core of jazz-blues, that you should consider seriously consider asking your wife(?) to join you on this journey. You're a definitely a fantastic reactor on your own, but the synergy of two peeps experiencing this together is something that Angelina's Angels will never forget to drop in on. Angels is the name that Angelina chooses to name her supporters and fans by. I'm on the cusp of rating 5,000 reaction videos with a thumbs up. Needless to say, there's a lot of subscriptions tied up in that number. Yet, I never fail to watch those with 2 reactors. Just a thought. 🎉🎉
Congrats on catching her gestures at the beginning, that really did tell a story, as you found out. That was her interpretation of the original by Screaming Jay Hawkins, you saw his face on the candle at the start. Welcome to the rabbit hole my friend, this young lady is a once in a lifetime jazz talent. At 17 she already has a decade of presence on UA-cam. Check out her latest original song Now I'm The Fool ua-cam.com/video/8BXCVY_-RmU/v-deo.html
Absolutely Phenomenal arrangement by our barefoot prodigy, Angelina at 9 years old actually arranges this performance herself as she does with everything she touches, Angelina is paying tribute to the original artist Screaming J Hawkins a blues musician from the 1950s, Angelina is commanding this performance she is the boss, Welcome to one of the most talented artists today, Angelina from Norway 🇳🇴 won Norway’s Got Talent at 8 years old, Angelina’s doesn’t do covers she does upgrades of covers, she is known as the barefoot princess with a thousand different voices, and has a huge catalog of upgrades and she has original music to, great reaction thanks 🙏
It always astonish me that Americans have no clue who the guy on the candle is! Screamin' Jay Hawkins! Even teenager Norwegian version of me would now that (now 50). Your reaction is fire though. Please check out her newest EP at the age of 17 that just dropped. There are videos of #1 and #2 from that EP. Both will blow your mind! Please help with breaking her out of all the industry noise
A nice first reaction! Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone . Not only that, but she received the copyrights for her version of this song from Queen, which makes it hers now. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Now 17 years old, living in Los Angeles, and is signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records have agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough coming out Friday, July 21st, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out later this year. She recently returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to be a superstar, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!
This is 9 yo Angelina Jordan's own arrangement based on the 1956 original by "Screaming" Jay Hawkins. I highly recommend you find his version here on UA-cam so you can see how she musically interpreted a grown man's "screaming" and drama in the song. Don't do a reaction, unless you want to. Just FYI. This is AFTER she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent at age 7 with Billie Holiday's version of "Gloomy Sunday." And I'm sure the other fans will give you yards of detail But do check out the Jay Hawkins original, You got the ears and musical understanding to "get" what she did with his song. She's 17 years old now and just dropped an EP that will knock your socks off. Grandma Ellen, happy to see you excited.
I think you need to buy a new set of headphones! Your brain exploded, and most of your gray matter is stuck in your headphones! LOL!!! To really appreciate how good this performance is, consider that Angelina created the arrangement herself, based upon the original by Screaming Jay Hawkins!
Welcome to AJs world!!! Get ready for it,,,, should you choose this assignment be ready for hundreds of AJ angels (what she calls her fans) comments and subscriptions , please don't comment back to the trolls that follow her and hate just delete them. We love her and will protect her at all cost but we LOVE to see new reactors find Her.. if you like her stuff please make a Playlist for her and you will get plenty of her requests and most will blow your mind, drop your jaw, give you chills, make you cry or just put you in awe........
As you know now, this was not originally from Hocus Pocus, but a 50’s classic by Screamin Jay Hawkins. If you watch his original, you’ll understand Angelina’s version which honors Hawkins, but makes it her own. That’s what she does. Yes, she’s 9 here, and it’s her arrangement. Angelina will blow you away again and again with blues, jazz, ballads, r&b, and soul-plus a lot of other genres. Here’s a suggestion for your next Angelina song. Watch her singing live with a full band behind her: it’s her cover of It’s a Man’s World, a classic James Brown 60’s soul song. She’s 11 for that. Watch and be stunned by the soul from a little 11 year old girl from Norway. Here’s the link. ua-cam.com/video/HEm7tGrjIKk/v-deo.html Angelina is 17 now and she is easily the best singer I’ve ever heard.
John, this was the summer of 2018, so she was 12 🥰 (Not that it makes much difference, really! Or am I wrong on that? One year at that age was always a big leap forward for Angelina; sometimes I feel like stating x years old plus however many months!) 🥰
This is still the most shocking vocal video I've ever seen on UA-cam. Not only can this girl sing the blues, but she does it at 9 years old in her third language. Angelina Jordan's from Norway and has been singing since she was eighteen months old. She's also the youngest published author in Norwegian history. She's 17 now and just released an EP for Republic Records that's straight fire! I recommend you check out Good In Goodbyes or Now I'm The Fool. Great reaction, man!
You've taken the first step into a rabbit hole of epic proportions. There's so much material from Angelina from 7-17 that you have a wonderful journey ahead of you. 🎉🎉Recommendations🎉🎉 Here are her performances on Norway's Got Talent. Of special interest are the audition (NGT 1), her third performance, and the finale (NGT 4). The links I've listed for these contain English subtitles and additional content both before and after her performance. NGT 3 has translations added for the second half of the video. Get ready to watch a very tiny 7 year old human with mussy hair, bare feet, and still missing some permanent teeth, absolutely amaze the judges. Enjoy! 🎉 NGT 1 - "GLOOMY SUNDAY" (pre/post performance with English subtitles) - ua-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/v-deo.html 🎉 NGT 2 - "I'M A FOOL TO WANT YOU" (sung entirely acapella), another BillieHoliday inspired song. ua-cam.com/video/LXknLZDoRVQ/v-deo.html (How does she maintain pitch and tone without any backing track?) 🎉 NGT 3 - "BANG BANG" inspired by Nancy Sinatra's rendition. This video has Angelina sharing songs of her life at the beginning. Unfortunately, this first segment doesn't have a translation added to it. Yet, it's great to see her being a new 8 year old at home and about town. Immediately following the performance we do have the English subtitles added of the judge's reactions. ua-cam.com/video/7LVHl_juO-Q/v-deo.html 🎉 NGT 4 - "SUMMERTIME" (NGT spotlight on Angelina, performance, judge's comments, winning NGT, w/English CC)- ua-cam.com/video/zN4kAof1is0/v-deo.html
---- No not Hocus Pocus song ---- The song I Put A Spell On You is what hooks many people to Angelina. This is a studio recording with an excellent band when Angelina was 9-years old. This song was originally done by Screamin' Jay Hawkins in 1956. The song was selected as one of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that shaped rock and roll. Jay's theatrical stage performances of this song are legendary. At the beginning of the video, Angelina pays homage to Jay by showing a coffee mug with Jay's image on it. She displays techniques well beyond her age ---- From Republic Records bio, Angelina said “Today, I sing barefoot as a reminder of all the kids in the world who need help and support.” See Angelina's book "Mellom to hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) for background story of 6-year old Angelina meeting shoeless girl to whom Angelina gave her shoes. A few of the hundreds of covered/original songs by Angelina include: - What A Difference A Day Makes (as 8-year old, sung Dinah Washington classic on Allsang På Grensen at Fredriksten Fortress in Halden, Norway on June 3, 2014. Angelina's presentation of song belies her age: ua-cam.com/video/ZSfgCIGd7k4/v-deo.html) - Feeling Good (as 10-year old, Angelina sung Nina Simone song on Norwegian show The Stream Gir Tilbake that broadcasts live stage performances. Angelina goes up four consecutive higher notes for dramatic finish: ua-cam.com/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/v-deo.html) - Shield [as 12-year old, Angelina co-wrote about someone you love and whose strong love protects you wherever you are. She sung on very popular Scandinavian talk show Skavlan (2.5 to 3 million viewers per show): ua-cam.com/video/lQtUbVKb0vs/v-deo.html] - Stay (as 12-year old, just guitar and Angelina singing this 2012 Rihanna hit piano ballad about relationship. Angelina's soothing voice makes this ballad quite beautiful: ua-cam.com/video/_GSVPvCy3Yg/v-deo.html) - Bohemian Rhapsody (as 13-year old, Angelina creates unique, stripped-down version of Queen's hit 1975 song for America’s Got Talent The Champions getting worldwide recognition. Queen links to her performance on their Twitter account stating "Wow! What a rendition @angelinajordanA" and gives Angelina copyright to publish her version: ua-cam.com/video/qF0JV28vgLw/v-deo.html) - Million Miles (co-wrote as 14-year old after her maternal grandfather died and she was thinking about great memories she had and how it hurts to lose someone. Angelina dedicated song to anyone who has lost loved one. Angelina made Republic Records studio live video: ua-cam.com/video/3KxvwuZ7oEM/v-deo.html) - 7th Heaven (co-wrote as 15-year old, Angelina said that “The song is a reminder to look at everything in a positive light and not get down on yourself. Most importantly-no matter what you’re doing-don’t give up. It’s also meant to make you dance.” Angelina made Republic Records studio live video: ua-cam.com/video/bM8DzMRbiIc/v-deo.html) - Billie Jean (as 15-year old, Angelina completely turns Michael Jackson’s 1982 hit song on its head by doing a jazzy version that re-invents the song to something different than original: ua-cam.com/video/xp67k9wk2Mw/v-deo.html) - You Say (as 15-year old, Angelina exquisitely covers Lauren Daigle’s hit song (over 6 million units sold) that won a Grammy Award and was lead song on her 2018 album Look Up Child: ua-cam.com/video/9K8JOd4VIpk/v-deo.html) - Suspicious Minds (as 16-year old, music video shot in LA antique store. Angelina puts unique twist to this 1969 Elvis Presley hit song by slowing it way down and rearranging lyrics: ua-cam.com/video/RTbKhkceR00/v-deo.html) - I Have Nothing (as 16-year old, Angelina sings Whitney Houston's hit song in music video shot in black & white in LA antique store: ua-cam.com/video/iX0g99jN26U/v-deo.html) - Valerie (as 17-year old, sung Amy Winehouse’s 2007 hit song live on Germany’s Next Top Model popular TV show by Heidi Klum: ua-cam.com/video/JahKZ6aYFbI/v-deo.html) - Love Don’t Let Me Go (co-wrote as 17-year old, music video shot in black and white interspersing Angelina singing in studio with her driving 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster with grandmother Mery Zamani in car: ua-cam.com/video/1U6WY_z8Vu8/v-deo.html) - Now I’m The Fool (co-wrote as 17-year old, music video shot in black and white. Angelina is sassy and pours out her heart with feelings of pain expressed visually and vocally: ua-cam.com/video/8BXCVY_-RmU/v-deo.html)
I understand where it originally came from BUT yes it's also from Hocus Pocus as the sister's sang the song. So for me to say I know this song and it's from Hocus Pocus would be correct because that's how I know the song. Thanks to a few earlier comments yesterday I got the pleasure to know it came from a smooth cat in the 50s Screamin Jay and the original is amazing! Now i'm realizing all the diff spins people have put on it
Angelina has been blowing minds since she was a toddler. Seen so far by tens of thousands at live performances, hundreds of millions on television and BILLIONS on social media. Here she is at SIX, YES SIX. Singing in ENGLISH which is NOT her native language, ua-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/v-deo.html
Naggers out in two months switch the song with my Screamin’ Jay Hawkins 1956 blue Sanger Angelina wrote this arrangement arrangement herself in the band. You’ll see your passenger seat for Direct as how she wants to change the bands swear they’re gonna play because he’s changing my house you’re gonna do it.
For more information on Angelina’s history, see Angelina Jordan’s Wikipedia Page - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelina_Jordan Below is a list of my recommendations for doing reactions to Angelina Jordan. 1. For the initial shock you should start with ‘I Put A Spell On You’ She was 9 years old when she did this. The link for this song is - ua-cam.com/video/nwFloCPXzCs/v-deo.html 2. The next song you should react to is an Elvis cover ‘Suspicious Minds’ - ua-cam.com/video/RTbKhkceR00/v-deo.html - this will show you how her voice and presence has developed. 3. To follow her growth react to the following songs in order: At age 6 - ‘I Who Have Nothing’ her first time in a studio - ua-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/v-deo.html At age 7 - 8; Norway's Got Talent - ua-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/v-deo.html At age 8 ‘What A Difference A Day Makes’ -ua-cam.com/video/ZSfgCIGd7k4/v-deo.html At age 10 ‘Feeling Good’ - ua-cam.com/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/v-deo.html At age 11 ‘I’m A Fool To Want You’ - ua-cam.com/video/SGx0djXTXQk/v-deo.html She also did this during Norway’s Got Talent, but she did it A Capella. At age 12 There are two songs of note here: ‘Shield’ which is one of her originals - ua-cam.com/video/lQtUbVKb0vs/v-deo.html She was invited to perform at Quincy Jones’ 85th birthday in London she sang what is sort of her anthem (she has sung throughout the years many times). This is the rehearsal for the show but it is excellent - ua-cam.com/video/OMkwoqUNNkE/v-deo.html At Age 13 she performed two songs on America’s Got Talent - and one other song of note - ‘I Have Nothing’ is a tribute to Whitney Houston - ua-cam.com/video/eTcvvO6B3Io/v-deo.html On AGT ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ for which she got the Golden Buzzer - ua-cam.com/video/qF0JV28vgLw/v-deo.html On AGT ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ in the finals - ua-cam.com/video/4XOMskgN8w4/v-deo.html - but she didn’t win. A lot of people are upset about that, but I think it’s the best thing that happened to her. At Age 16 she has three new covers. The newest and the best is an Elvis cover ‘Suspicious Minds’ - ua-cam.com/video/RTbKhkceR00/v-deo.html She has released a new version of I Have Nothing - ua-cam.com/video/iX0g99jN26U/v-deo.html - which is probably the best song she has done so far. The other is ‘My Funny Valentine - ua-cam.com/video/bWiLOnHJYxg/v-deo.html Angelina dropped her latest song on May 5th 2023 it is the first song off her new album which will be out soon. The name of the song is ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’ - ua-cam.com/video/1U6WY_z8Vu8/v-deo.html - She wrote the song and in an interview said that all of the songs on the new album will be songs she wrote and had a major part in their arrangements. She has done several Adel covers and one other song of note - ‘Million Miles’ - ua-cam.com/video/3KxvwuZ7oEM/v-deo.html - this is an original that she wrote in honor of her grandfather after he passed away. It is also the first song released under her contract with Republic Records. Rusty Shackelford has a UA-cam playlist that includes all of her videos, including TikTok and Instagram. I have a playlist of Angelina's videos which has over 200,000 views (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.)

Nine years old? Just Damm!

Welcome to the barefoot, princess/the girl with 1000 voices. LMAO LOVE SEEING PEOPLES FIRST REACTIONS TO THIS SONG AND THE ANGEL SENT FROM HEAVEN. LOVED YOUR REACTION. GOING TO SUBSCRIBE TO WATCH YOUR JOURNEY DOWN THE BAREFOOT PRINCESS, RABBIT HOLE.
What you will soon realize is that Angelina today at 17 Angelina is already the best Jazz singer on the Planet! IMO Soon to be one of the Best Vocalists of All Time. ♥👣👸🏻
Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. ♥👣👸🏻
There is video of Angelina recorded by her mother Sarah Astar singing a couple of lines of "I Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston when she was 18 months old.
She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. ♥👣👸🏻
She is well known worldwide in the industry.
This is a huge amount of covers and some original songs. A Million miles stands out for me... ❤️

You gonna love her❤😊❤
Nice first reaction to the G.O.A.T. The Queen of Soul and Jazz. New Sub.

This is a masterpiece…….🎶
Pure musical Dynamite !!!
Based on Screamin Jay Hawkins 1956. He wrote and performed. Angelina definitely got her inspiration from him. . ♥👣👸🏻🎷🔥🎶
Have fun.

She got a voice like no other.
What a great reaction.😀new subscriber here for more Angelina.😀
Thank you!! 😊
Let’s analyze the video:
1st you see how small and cute she is.
2nd you see she is barefoot (story below)
3rd You see her making her “Wish List” of suggested changes to the song.
Your face when she started singing 😂😂😂😂 yes brother. That’s All of us. 😂😂😂😂
Welcome to the AJ world. Enjoy!!
"Screamin" Jay Hawkins original "I Put A Spell on You" ua-cam.com/video/orNpH6iyokI/v-deo.html
Masterpiece
This is a tribute to the original song by screaming J Hawkins in the mid fifties. She arranged this song herself.
Dude.... I just noticed something. You picked out the " old soul " in Angelina the quickest of any reactor ever ! 5 seconds in. I bow to you sir.... 😑
You just felt that ya know
Song by Screaming Jay Hawkins, 1956, many covers since.
“Old enough”
@@rburkett1939 Oops, changed it. Thanks
This is going to be great!! Angelina and Upchurch are my favorites!!❤😊❤
Now she is 17.5, she turns 18 in january 2024 👍😊
Great first reaction to Angelina! just subbed... You have no idea how good her voice is now at 17. You checkout her new EP "Old Enough" it's FIRE!
Just subscribed for our beautiful barefoot Princess, Angelina.
With close to 200 songs available to watch or listen to , she is the bomb ❤❤❤

Why does Angelina sing barefoot?

Uh ohhhh.... We have an altercation in progress....🤭
Why Angelina always performs barefoot
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money.
PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial
Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old.
She is 6’1 and 17 years old
Oh wow
Great reaction thank you 😃 wild bill

Another quick recommendation...
Great reaction, stunned as I was. AJ is going to blow your mind. Just wait until she hits you in the feels😢 Amazing talent. Welcome!
One of the reasons why we love her so much!
next Bohemian Rhapsody at age 13
Your Wommen is the greatest❤❤❤

Welcome to AJs world!!! Get ready for it,,,, should you choose this assignment be ready for hundreds of AJ angels (what she calls her fans) comments and subscriptions , please don't comment back to the trolls that follow her and hate just delete them. We love her and will protect her at all cost but we LOVE to see new reactors find Her.. if you like her stuff please make a Playlist for her and you will get plenty of her requests and most will blow your mind, drop your jaw, give you chills, make you cry or just put you in awe........
Listen to her sing Bohemian Rhapsody, just epic ❤
I feel a little jealous you get to discover her now and have nearly 200 performances ahead of you. Hocus Pocus
haha
💙💙💙💙💙... Beautiful reaction!!! Subscribed!!
Thank you so much!!
Here’s the link. ua-cam.com/video/HEm7tGrjIKk/v-deo.html
Angelina is 17 now and she is easily the best singer I’ve ever heard.
John, this was the summer of 2018, so she was 12 🥰 (Not that it makes much difference, really! Or am I wrong on that? One year at that age was always a big leap forward for Angelina; sometimes I feel like stating x years old plus however many months!) 🥰
@@mrstlu4838 yes, you’re right.

Omg a fight😂
🎉🎉Recommendations🎉🎉
Here are her performances on Norway's Got Talent.
Enjoy!
🎉 NGT 1 - "GLOOMY SUNDAY" (pre/post performance with English subtitles) - ua-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/v-deo.html
🎉 NGT 2 - "I'M A FOOL TO WANT YOU" (sung entirely acapella), another BillieHoliday inspired song.
ua-cam.com/video/LXknLZDoRVQ/v-deo.html (How does she maintain pitch and tone without any backing track?)
🎉 NGT 3 - "BANG BANG" inspired by Nancy Sinatra's rendition. This video has Angelina sharing songs of her life at the beginning. Unfortunately, this first segment doesn't have a translation added to it. Yet, it's great to see her being a new 8 year old at home and about town. Immediately following the performance we do have the English subtitles added of the judge's reactions.

---- No not Hocus Pocus song
---- The song I Put A Spell On You is what hooks many people to Angelina. She displays techniques well beyond her age
---- From Republic Records bio, Angelina said “Today, I sing barefoot as a reminder of all the kids in the world who need help and support.” See Angelina's book "Mellom to hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) for background story of 6-year old Angelina meeting shoeless girl to whom Angelina gave her shoes. A few of the hundreds of covered/original songs by Angelina include:

I understand where it originally came from BUT yes it's also from Hocus Pocus as the sister's sang the song. So for me to say I know this song and it's from Hocus Pocus would be correct because that's how I know the song. Thanks to a few earlier comments yesterday I got the pleasure to know it came from a smooth cat in the 50s Screamin Jay and the original is amazing! Now i'm realizing all the diff spins people have put on it

Here she is at SIX, YES SIX. Singing in ENGLISH which is NOT her native language, ua-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/v-deo.html
Screaming J Hawkins
She was singing old blues & Jazz in English before she was even old enough to read or write in her native Norwegian language. Think about that.
SHESSSSSH
If you think you can handle it, you should check out her single "Diamond" from her new EP Old enough.
I just dropped it
Look at her cover of, "Something's Got a Hold on Me." She'll take you to church. She's 12 when she did it.
No it's not from a movie. It is a song from the 50's by Screaming Jay Hawkins, later covered by Nina Simone and many others.❤️❤️❤️❤️👣
Greatest singer at 9 years old better than most of the singers anywhere 😂 wild bill
This isn't her low range 😂 watch her singing how great thou art for that. ua-cam.com/video/WLAEy1LIHrc/v-deo.html

Below is a list of my recommendations for doing reactions to Angelina Jordan.
1. For the initial shock you should start with ‘I Put A Spell On You’ She was 9 years old when she did this. The link for this song is - ua-cam.com/video/nwFloCPXzCs/v-deo.html
2. The next song you should react to is an Elvis cover ‘Suspicious Minds’ - ua-cam.com/video/RTbKhkceR00/v-deo.html - this will show you how her voice and presence has developed.
3. To follow her growth react to the following songs in order:
At age 6 - ‘I Who Have Nothing’ her first time in a studio - ua-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/v-deo.html
At age 7 - 8; Norway's Got Talent - ua-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/v-deo.html
At age 8 ‘What A Difference A Day Makes’ -ua-cam.com/video/ZSfgCIGd7k4/v-deo.html
At age 10 ‘Feeling Good’ - ua-cam.com/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/v-deo.html
At age 11 ‘I’m A Fool To Want You’ - ua-cam.com/video/SGx0djXTXQk/v-deo.html She also did this during Norway’s Got Talent, but she did it A Capella.
At age 12 There are two songs of note here:
‘Shield’ which is one of her originals - ua-cam.com/video/lQtUbVKb0vs/v-deo.html
She was invited to perform at Quincy Jones’ 85th birthday in London she sang what is sort of her anthem (she has sung throughout the years many times). This is the rehearsal for the show but it is excellent - ua-cam.com/video/OMkwoqUNNkE/v-deo.html
At Age 13 she performed two songs on America’s Got Talent - and one other song of note -
‘I Have Nothing’ is a tribute to Whitney Houston - ua-cam.com/video/eTcvvO6B3Io/v-deo.html
On AGT ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ for which she got the Golden Buzzer - ua-cam.com/video/qF0JV28vgLw/v-deo.html
On AGT ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ in the finals - ua-cam.com/video/4XOMskgN8w4/v-deo.html - but she didn’t win. A lot of people are upset about that, but I think it’s the best thing that happened to her.
At Age 16 she has three new covers.
The newest and the best is an Elvis cover ‘Suspicious Minds’ - ua-cam.com/video/RTbKhkceR00/v-deo.html
She has released a new version of I Have Nothing - ua-cam.com/video/iX0g99jN26U/v-deo.html - which is probably the best song she has done so far.
The other is ‘My Funny Valentine - ua-cam.com/video/bWiLOnHJYxg/v-deo.html
Angelina dropped her latest song on May 5th 2023 it is the first song off her new album which will be out soon.
