Wow how times have changed. The idea of COOL for example has dramatically been changed. We have come so far in so little a time.
2000 were the new 90s for Nintendo
This was the last e3 where the crowed actually cheered for the games I miss that. From 2006+ it just died .. crowd wise.

@NintendoProSite Suggestion if you want to see N 2002 press confernce, go to gamestop and search on nintendo 2002 e3 press confernce.

God, I love Nintendo. I like Sony and Microsoft too, but man, my childhood rides on the GBA, NGC, Wii, DS. (never owned a N64 cause I was to young and never knew about video games until 2000 at 6 years old). But luckly played the VC versions of classic n64 games. BUT anyway, I loved this conference, and Reggie looks so kick-butt
I'd just love it if we had another opening like this one with Iwata. Maybe not this year since Nintendo has so much to prove, but one of the following years.

I like conferences like this. I loved how the crowd would cheer and actually react. We get that a little now, but since it is mostly journalists they try to stay professional I guess.
You never hear him dissing other companies now.

well Reggie,sony has lots of issues, They cram their game systems with too much tech forcing them to sell them at a loss and yet Nintendo's system is still cheaper and more fun, They have horrible marketing strategy,they delayed the vita to 2012 just to have a few extra games at launch,so they already lost sales in the US. Overall, sony sucks, They only have 3 good exclusives ,and those exclusive did not arrive untill the ps3 came

@sonicddp No, nobody does. Back then, E3s were not live streamed to the Internet. The oldest press conference I know of with video is 2002, and it won't download for me.

@PerfectBlade20 Wow hardcore fanboy here guys lol. I guess the psone and two sold over 100 million units because they sucked so bad huh? While n64 and gamecube barely sold 30 million lol.

And it kicked all the systems out of the market. 3DS is doing the same now, especially in Japan. But not only that DS broke the barrier between home consoles and handhelds. Who needs home consoles these days? For an example: When I walked in the game store this gen I saw a huge shelf with DS games and PS3 and 360 looked pathetic in comparison. Why? Because DS is your daddy. And 3DS is backwards compatible with DS games which are region free unlike PS2.
Iwata is your daddy. All hail the king (DS).
@sonicddp They probably filmed it themselves, but I doubt they filmed the whole thing. You're free to look around, but I spent a good 2 hours looking on the Internet.
