Funny how you say we ballsed up Hutchison, speed, lineker I’d put Beardsley in that category aswell why did we ever sell them player’s, typical Everton, boss show that 2 boss teams,
That Leeds game away first win in 50 or 51 years at Elland Road I think I was at that game it was hard burned into my memory like it was slow motion, back then every time he got the ball everyone would get uppp and get excited, just watching him on the side in his massive shorts anticipating him to come on, the Peacock pub and the fans going mad Leeds fans fuming Leeds had a fucking team as well... such a great memory...👍
Southall,Wright, Wilson, labone capt,Mercer, ball,Reid, young,Vernon,Lawton and last but not least the greatest Everton player that ever lived William Ralph Dean, all winners,I think I am showing my age here boys but football did actually exist before1993,p.s. Thanks for the shows lads.
Gazza in for Hutchinson. If you was gonna shoehorn Speed into left back because of what he did at other clubs then surely put Gazza in. And he wasn't too bad in a Everton shirt
Southall,Stevens, ratcliffe, mountfield,Gray, reid,Sharp,Steven,Sheedy, lineker and last not forget:Lescott one of our best Defender in Last 15 years and Pienaar should have a part in team.
What a show lads, great viewing. Latch is my all time hero as I'm a bit older but didn't go back to him as only 3 English players allowed. The team so Southall, Coleman, Ratdclife, Weir, Baines, Steven, Speed, Reid, Sheedy, Sharp, Ferguson. 💙⚽️💚
I seen Darren Moore on LMA and it reminded me of that when Wayne just dead cocky and arrogant but it was a great attribute to have if you're good enough for such a young player at the time...👍
jamie cole Just trying to stick to the brief of only players we’ve seen live. Otherwise, yeh 100% Dixie would be in there (ahead of who out of Lineker/Sharp though I’m not sure)
Glad to see Gough getting the recognition he deserved too in the video, think he was immense for those couple of seasons. The guy just oozed class and his reading of the game was superb. Amazing considering his age at the time. Can still vividly recall one guy in the Gwladys just screaming ‘Goughiiieeee’ every time he touched the ball. 🤣
Southall is Everton’s greatest ever keeper by a country mile, the only person who runs him close is Gordon West, who didn’t even get a mention in the discussion
Southall Coleman Watson Weir Baines Horne Carsley Speed Rooney Ferguson McFadden This is a hard game to play if you stick to the rules and don't allow any of the 80s greats in (Southall and Watson obviously stayed into the 90s). I was too young to see the 80s players play
What Is The Greatest Everton Home Nations XI?
Another gr8 vid kept me glued.. maybe do an english xl next?
Funny how you say we ballsed up Hutchison, speed, lineker I’d put Beardsley in that category aswell why did we ever sell them player’s, typical Everton, boss show that 2 boss teams,
Guys, I set out to watch about 10 minutes of this and an hour later I'm still here. Great stuff!
Chris P .... Glad you enjoyed it mate 💪🏻

He also used to say "Jajelka..." too haha...
I'm with Ped regarding the Gary Speed at left back choice! Although I loved the argument! I miss football banter!

@@ToffeeTVEFC Baz trying to get Gary Speed in at left back was shocking behaviour though, yellow card offence. 🟨

Southhall is Everton’s best ever player in as much as at his best he was arguably the best in the world, there is no one else that can be said about
Gordon is very much next in line , and I mean that as a great compliment
