- During their spring tour, State Champs stopped by the AP offices for an acoustic session and Q&A, which we broadcast live on Twitch TV. The guys played a small audience of fans three songs, including "If I'm Lucky," performed in this video by frontman Derek DiScanio Twitter

I met Derek in at St.louis warped tour 2014 after there set i believe or i could have been before i dont remember at this point. Just remember him being extremely nice and takin a picture with me. The most hype show i probably ever seen as well, man id do anything to go back
Finally a pop punk band with amazing music and a singer who can actually perform live. Favorite band by far
saw them at a little bar in may. almost everyone ended up on stage by the end, derek said it's the closest they'd been to fans when they were performing in years

Parker cannon is probably the worst example of a "good" pop punk vocalist i mean he has a good voice and can yell alot but when it comes to actually "singing" he's either really monotone or struggling especially on acoustics, I'll give you Ben he's actually pretty alright but as "singers" go Derek just out classes them
