You may see some comments in this thread about the pay of workers that make our clothes. These comments are grossly inaccurate and wholly untrue. For those interested in the facts we would signpost you to the latest report, written by Sir Brian Leveson, on the action we have taken and the reality of how we manage our relationship with our suppliers which you can read here. This judge was appointed by Boohoo themselves (i.e. he wasn't conducting an independent review; Boohoo is paying him). This report says that "challenges and difficulties" remain at Boohoo, and if someone you're paying says that, I'm pretty confident you can interpret that as corporate jargon for "it's fucked".
You can publish these wordy reports all you like, but how about publishing a video showing the inside your 60+ factories in Pakistan, or the 400+ factories you use in China? Or how about the 70 in Bangladesh? Didn't think so.
You also have some cheek pinning that snarky comment. You were exposed for having workers in awful conditions and not even being paid minimum wage, and you have the cheek to act like there's no basis for people's concerns? You should be grovelling.

Sorry but that was the fakest attempt at staging a meeting trying to make out everything is "all on molly" and she has so much to do. I doubt very much that half of those tasks would sit under a creative directors remit let alone be 100% decided by her with no input from the rest of the team
Edit: as someone who works in business myself, I also have never seen a situation where a marketing director will sit there and tell a creative director what they should be doing like they're some kind of junior assistant. It doesn't work like that - do they expect us to believe this stuff?!

Can we talk about how the British Fashion Council came out and said PLT weren’t invited to Fashion Week? Because they don’t invite high street or fast fashion/e-commerce only brands….. designs have to be produced in accordance with certain guidelines and be original/with production direction done by the brand itself. Not to mention there are initiatives to highlight young emerging designers from CSM and others who are developing more sustainable eco friendly garment and fabric tech.

not to justify pretty little thing but some of the brands in fashion week may be luxury but they are just as shit as pretty little thing lmao. i really hope more young designers come into the scene and develop more cruelty free sustainable clothing, it would be cool to see.

All the salon workers , boy did good posters, aesthetic workers , fiat 500 drivers and air heads all commenting what a great job there idol is doing . This is a bad attempt at trying to fool the public that molly mae grafts day in day out . She’s literally gone to the factory for an hour took some videos and claimed to be organising a party when she’s supposed to be “creative director” . Isn’t that an event managers job ? Don’t have a problem with molly mae but what annoys me is she and other people claim she works hard and we’re all in the same boat in life . She went on a reality show and got a cushy job at plt where she gets paid millions to be flown around the world in first class ,put up in 5 star hotels , all expenses comped . To do 4 hour photo shoots and post pictures on Instagram . Meanwhile people in the factory making the clothes doing 10-12 hour shifts making peanuts but she claims we all have the same time in a day . Shes an ambassador for PLT not a director stop trying to fool us we’re not stupid

Sorryyyyy but PLT is just a basic fast fashion brand who’s clothes are made cheaply in sweatshops…. They’re not luxury high fashion. They’re only popular because they use trending ratchet celebs to promote their brand (influencer marketing) sad that most brands just want to create a quick buck instead of really designing long-lasting, high quality pieces. I’ve stopped buying PLT in 2018 when I realised they’re cheap shit quality just like their sister brand BooHoo! I also noticed a lady in the video called themselves “an Ecom business” not even a fashion business…

No. There was a statement put out by the British council (I believe) saying that it was a london fashion show now a part of London fashion weeks. It never will be ! They held it during London fashion week so they could do things like this 😂
All this video has done is highlight how molly doesn’t do most of the work. She’s had someone tell her what needs to be done and given tasks like finding a dj and a venue? And when she gets time to go to the office.. surely with a role so high up in the business she would be needed their all the time? It’s proving she was given the job for the publicity

I think it’s more about qualifications?
