During his trainee period, he attended a program called “hidden singer”, where he imitated JYP singing. Also Sungjin’s singing level was recognized and the teacher even said she had nothing else to teach him.
Sungjin has one of the most emotional voice if there is one. Hahaha. It’s just that you can feel his emotions everytime he sings like he does not just sing the song but he feels it. I know you know what I mean. ✌️😊
I love Jae and Young K's vocals so much and they're my biases but if I had a favorite Day6 vocalist it's actually Sungjin. His voice is just so unique and I love his raspy singing.

Not only do their voices have diff “colors” and textures, but paint diff emotions within a song so you walk away from a song totally moved in so many ways. Just my 2 cents.

Young K got me at first by his cold visual and Sungjin got me at first by his vocal. I really think he is the golden vocal in DAY6. No one can cover his part. Also, the emotion emits by DAY6 song (to me, it always Sungjin’s part) rarely can be ‘feel’ when other people cover it (no offense to other idol that cover DAY6 song, you did great). really since 2015, Sungjin’s voice is the one that full full full with emotion when singing.

Ria Millano there is indeed a part 2 but not with the demo version (but the album version) cuz I made it before the boys released the demo... but I agree that the demo is the superior version. And frankly on the studio version, it is Sungjins parts that destroy me... he’s absolutely amazing 🥺😍😭

I don't know what it is about your voice Sungjin but it seriously makes me cry. With every syllable, whether in Korean or in English, I feel the emotion and the tears just come. They only released their own songs independently with JYP (like Young One) or sing solo 1-2 songs but still under the name of their group (like Got7, album You: Present). JYP is really bad at promoting his talents, that's why many idols left after 7 years..

Ria Millano there is indeed a part 2 but not with the demo version (but the album version) cuz I made it before the boys released the demo... but I agree that the demo is the superior version. And frankly on the studio version, it is Sungjins parts that destroy me... he’s absolutely amazing 🥺😍😭

Ria Millano youngk made a good point (was it youngk or jae??) that the continuity of having 1 singer/perspective throughout the song and it being *specifically* sungjin’s, was what made it much more powerful.
I don't know what it is about your voice Sungjin but it seriously makes me cry. With every syllable, whether in Korean or in English, I feel the emotion and the tears just come. But you know its the good, ugly, I feel a lot lot better cry. You're voice has that effect on me Sungjin. If I ever get to see you in concert, if anyone sees a girl ugly crying in the corner of a Day6 concert... that's prolly me..

@@daebakday6981 I think it's impossible if he is still in Day6, because up to now, I haven't seen any idol from got7, Day6 or Stray Kids... debut solo. They only released their own songs independently with JYP (like Young One) or sing solo 1-2 songs but still under the name of their group (like Got7, album You: Present). JYP is really bad at promoting his talents, that's why many idols left after 7 years..

He writes songs with his band Day6 and yes, he has written some of the band’s songs. Look up his guide version of Afraid (the full band version is amazing too but his version is something special).
