@@daebakday6981 i logged out and left twitter ever since the hate train against him started. I went back recently this year but i only go there for short periods of time so right now i don't really have an idea which ot4 myday accounts hated on ot5/him as i wasn't active when the bashing was going strong in real time. I wish i could be strong enough to stay active at that time so that i could block them like you did and not give them clout in future by accidentally engaging. And thank YOU too. I accept ot4 because it's our current reality so no choice but to live in it and appreciate it but OT5 is just better and I'll be the happiest if ot5 ever happens again
@@madkmadk6809 you do the best you can to preserve your mental health. And I do believe bec the boys are still friends, we will get a reunion. Even if we don’t, I’ll always support the boys but I do think at some point it’ll be happen. And we’ll cry buckets 😂🥹
@@daebakday6981 yeah I'm firmly positive that they are still on good terms and keep in touch and even recently too, jae indirectly hinted that they are still friends, by saying that he and Sungjin had a convo abt each other's music recently when he was trying to clear up the false rumors that they had a falling out or had ill intent. I get excited and scared at the same time when I imagine the possibility of a future reunion. Excited because on one hand if that happens it'd be a dream come true, something unprecedented and something that breaks the boundaries of petty kpop rules and something that could make my incomplete heart complete again but on the other hand scared because what if they do something together to test the waters to see if fans want more of it or not and what if OT4s flood them with negative reactions and their disapproval and then the boys get discouraged and never do it again 😭 but yes I WILL SURELY CRY BUCKETS OF HAPPY TEARS TO SEE OT5 AGAIN

I have no knowledge of drums but being a fan of day6 i realise dowoon is too humble about his drumming so much so that we, the people with no music knowledge, never know how good he is in techniques & talents, but i loved his drumming coz he always looks like he has the best time of his life while at it. He always tells how his hyungs are so great coz they write music & everything but we reallllyyyy need to tell him he is equally great for keeping the rhythm of group & being the backbone of live day6, while being absolutely adorable & funny keeping day6 young, wild & free. Btw if u ever read this message i hope u make another video coz its 2024 and he is i am sure on another level of drums, we need more insights from u, he was on a blast in their recent concert & they are on their way to play for manyyy college festivals so after that maybe we can get new video about this☺️ Again thankuuu so much😍
Hi! I would LOVE to make another Dowoon video. Just a matter of having time and the inspiration, like noticing how he's changed as a drummer. If that happens - you got it! And yes - Dowoon's humility always blows my mind. (ftr i made 2 other videos only about Dowoon and his drumming, check them out.) All of the boys aren't kidding when they talk about how Dowoon is such a key ingredient in the essence of Day6, how they were waiting for him specifically to debut ❤
I’ve been curious on jae’s guitar skills. Like is he good at it or average I really can’t tell since I don’t know anything about guitar😂 so it feels really nice to see him included in the video!
great question! I included Jae because Day6 is my life LOL. Is he worthy to be here with truly phenomenal guitarists? It can be debated. Is he a prodigy? No. Is he mediocre? I don't think so. I personally think he's a fabulous guitarist but i can't say all of his solos move me (unlike Cha Hun from N Flying for example). Jae worked hard and has fantastic guitar skills. He's also a GIFTED composer. Time will tell if he'll reveal his inner guitar hero some day but there are definitely way better lead guitarists than Jae. (Ftr, I adore Sungjin but it's hard for me to watch him play guitar because he's a vocalist, not a guitarist. I appreciate how much effort he's putting in to cover Jae's void but it's hard to watch because his playing is not organic.)

I have another question, can you suggest me some of day6 music that jae’s guitar stands out (maybe in skill wise? Or color added to the song idk) I really want to listen to. (Also, yes! Gotta admire Sungjin s effort it must be really hard to sing and play an instrument at the same time, especially to think that he just learned guitar 3 months before the debut.)
Thank you for compiling these! Jae is probably the most underrated singer in all of Kpop. Few people have the technical ear to appreciate his full vocal ability.

The technical intricacies this man is capable of blow my mind, but the thing that adds another layer, like the filter over everything he sings, is his capacity for emotion expression in body, voice, and soul. Day6 will never be the same without him.

I realized the important of his voice after DoE, and now day6 new album. His voice bring soul and "rest" in their songs between Sungjin, YK and WP strong voices. Especially YK n WP' have this sharp sound in their voices, for me its make me "tired" to listen to after a long time
I cannot agree with this enough 100000%. Jae’s voice is like a soft sweater and is an important contrast to the other voices!!
@@daebakday6981 yes , the contrast make the other sounds more powerful/unique especially if he sang before Sungjin. His voice was the foundation before Sungjin/YK climax note.
