Easy Jazz Ensemble - Grade 2
The theme song for this popular animated TV series is already in a swingin' big band style! Arranged here for younger players, it features the melody traded between the saxes, trumpets and trombone and short solos for trumpet and alto.

@@michaelpenalver1759idk 146 people agree with him, and 0 with you
@@michaelpenalver1759 shut yo mouth lil bro
My jazz band has this exact same arrangement, and to this day it still haunts me as a tenor 1 player even after graduation.
why?
@@caseystern6616 Just fast notes that sometimes didn't fit the key. Could probably look back at the piece and not have *as* much of a heart attack, but idk.
@@seemlyxerneasreal dude I’m playing this right now AND THE TENOR PART IS SO STRANGE 😔
All it needs is a cutaway joke.
YOOO RICK STITZEL NEW DROPPP🔥🔥🔥
I am so excited to be playing this in stage band currently, I am playing the trumpet solo. It's so fun! Great arrangement.
I did the sax solo a few months ago in hs band it was my first solo and it was nerve wracking but super fun
@@Tha_Shark237first solos are always the most scary ones but everything after that comes much easier and more fun to play
Peter: "Damnit, Lois! I thought you said you bought hotdogs! But, i can't find em!"
Lous: "MEG!?"
STEWIE: "Umm...Why is Meg locked in the bathroom with a package of hotdogs?"
Derp! Dank meme, bro 🥶
finally now i can listen to music
So weird, we have this arrangement in my jazz band but every note is much higher 😂😂
hey petah, the horse is here.......
0:38 My favorite part
My high school band played this for us last week
HEY PETAH RICK SITZEL JUST DROPPED PETAH🔥🔥🤑
How does this not have soprano sax?
using this to map out my solo, imagine.
Solo section: 0:53
Ssssssss ahhhhhhhh sssssssss aaaaahhhhhhhhh…this just hit so good it hurt & now I sound like Peter
0:50 faked me out there! thought it was modulating up a half step to the key of E Major, but nope! What do you call that? Like faking a pass in football. LOL 😂
Same question -- any analysis along this line would be greatly appreciated. My take is that it is certainly faking to be the dominant of E, which is B (the root at m.49). But, what is the relation to the local tonic E flat?
@@counterpoints_ I mean what do you call a faked modulation? "Unfulfilled"? "Aborted Modulation"? LOL. But I don't know if the relationship of E to Eb has a name. Chromatic upper neighbor? Probably some theory major knows.
@@toronado455 may it be some variant of a Neapolitan chord?
*Essa é uma música que a gente escuta cantando, Uma família da pesada*
1:08 solo
I feel like this is really slow
It has more parts than the original theme
just my opinion but i’m not a fan of the drummer playing through the stop time in the original
This actually slaps and has more groove than the original
Zero way I’m reading that right
