    I hope to come to Madagascar next year how do you get to there from Antananarivo can you fly most of the way?

      We have charter flights on Sundays and Wednesdays. There is also a national flight on Mondays, but it is not always reliable.

    9:46 is definitely a species of Clerodendrum
    Further west from Masoala there is an even more amazing species called Clerodendrum kamhyoae (I think it is the most beautiful tree in the world)
    - By the way, Masoala is home to some quite rare palms such as Marojejya darianii and also Masoala kona and Masoala madagascariensis (genus name is Masoala, named after peninsula). It would be good if you could collect a few seeds to cultivate near the forest around the lodge to increase their population size.
