SKETCHBOOK TOUR | Adventures Living in Madagascar
Переглядів 2986 місяців тому
Wahoo! Here is my first completed sketchbook / nature journal tour. Most of these pages were done from my time living and managing an ecolodge in the Masoala rainforest of Madagascar 2022-2023. I did quite a bit of traveling around other areas of the country during my off-season period as well. I saw so many amazing things. I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think.

Île paradisiaque ❤
❤
beautiful! What was the frog (Number 8) is your painting? it looks very interesting! - Madagascar has many amazing frogs, my favourite is Scaphiophryne spinosa (should occur in Masoala). And Beelzebufo ampinga - the world's biggest frog ever (died out in the Cretaceous)
Awesome!! It’s Heterixalus madagascariensis

Hey, How can we get here from antananarivo?
How do you get to masoala forest from antananarivo?
@@KritikaBhatia boat or plane is best. There are national flights on Mondays and maybe on Fridays soon. Charter flights on Wednesdays and Sundays. Driving will take a few days and the road is very bad.
I’m from Madagascar
Love your videos!
I can't believe this is your life now it is so cool!! Love that you are sharing it!
Habibi come to madagascar ❤
thanks,you shared splendid sharing~
Where did you book this tour?
I booked this tour in Madagascar after meeting this guide Angelin. He's really professional and knows the area and wildlife well.
@@jessie.jordanHi! would you mind sharing the tour company information...Thank you!
@@SM-og1of I didn’t use a tour company for this trip. I met this guide in Antananarivo randomly. He was there for training and we were staying at the same hotel. We met at the restaurant. he organized my northern Madagascar road trip. Very professional and knowledgable guide!
So glad I found your videos! Looking forward to visiting in a couple of weeks.
Pretty neat
Waooo, when will i come there😘🥰
Why would you name your dog “go away “ 😅

Jessie Will you be moving back to Madagascar / making more Madagascar content? Or have you moved out of that country for good? You make some of the best content I’ve seen so far on Madagascar and I love the ecological / conservation angle you provide + your art. Hope we’ll see more from you on that incredible island!
Thank you!!!! I just returned and will be publishing more Mada content soon.
Feels like I’m traveling through the beautiful landscapes of my country. Thank you for this wonderful trip ☺️
Where do you live!?
Germany:)
I was thinking the same thing before seeing your comment 😊

Thank you!!!
Lovely to see your sketchbook with all of your Madagascar travels!

Beautiful ❤ Both the sketchbook and the island. I have only seen pictures of the arid parts of Madagascar and had no idea of how gorgeous it was!
Thank you so much!!! So you’ve been to Madagascar? Which parts?
Saya lihat vidio nya bagus saya❤

This video is awesome! Love it! Deserves way more views!
Hey Jessie!! Very cool !! Thank you for sharing ! Emile knows that snake saw it twice in Ranomafana!! hahah Great work all the best!! :)
Yeah I’ve seen them in Ranomafana too!
Great video! Fun and informative. Nice to see you guys doing your thing.
Song name?
This video is so well filmed and put together, it deserves hundreds of thousands of views instead of just a few hundred. Keep up the good work, and I believe your audience will grow to match the quality of your videos and the stories you tell with them.
Thank you! I needed those kind words right now. Making these videos is so time consuming and I wonder if I’m barking up the wrong tree sometimes.
Hey, Loving your video! we are heading there soon so really excited. What time of year did you go, it looks awesome and do you know what trails you did? would be so helpful, thanks Antonio
I went at the end of January last year! I did the loop that takes you up to see the green crator lake then down to the sacred cascade. After that we ate a packed lunch at the campsite and took I believe the orchid trail back towards the entrance. You can tell your guide what you want to see. I highly recommend Angelin Razafimanatsoa or his twin brother as a guide. You can easily find him on Facebook under that name. If they’re not available they can recommend you a good guide. Don’t forget bug spray and long pants. CHEERS!
Great video! 🙂
