I just love the vintage Christmas items I was born in the 60s and I'm still looking for the things that I had as a little girl and the older the better , I think that your Christmas display is very unique and colorful it's very nice , thanks for showing. God bless you , Cindy Bemis
Thank you for sharing your finds. Things like this bring a smile to my face and lead my mind to wonder what Christmas must have been like all those years ago. Very fun collection!
I remember in the 60’s early 70’s , they put the knee huggers on dish soap bottles. In laundry powder you could get bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels. I was born in 1963. I wish I had my grandparents decorations and the ones we had when I was growing up.
Lovely job ladies. Enjoyed the tour. I remember last year when Laura found the pink ‘Musical Revolving Doll’ - you don’t mention her in your video but she is displayed! I have one exactly like her still in her original box which describes her as I did above. She was made by the New England Toy Mfg. Co located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She originally retailed for $7.95. I’m 70 and she belonged to my late mother-in-law so definitely was purchased sometime in the 50’s. Did miss seeing your aluminum tree- mom-in-law had one of those as well but I didn’t take it.😢
In the late 60's early 70's, the Christmas Parade downtown Asheville, N.C. vendors walking around, or standing on the street corners sold those blow up plastic reindeer, santas that they attached the plastic blowup figure onto a wooden Stick. GOT ONE EVERY YEAR. Hope you are able to patch your santas leaking air spot up. This was SO MUCH FUN!!!! ❤🎉
You girls justbrought me back to those wonderful times I had with my mom and family I love everything about it and now I get to spend those wonderful times with my kids and grandkids it’s a little sad but all I can say it’s thanks for the memories ❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗🤗GodBless
You both have done a great job in welcoming us into your home.I for one felt like I was right there in your living room.Growing up in the 50’s I can remember a lot of the Christmas decorations.Thank you both for collecting all those wonderful things and bringing us down memory lane👍
First of all, let me say you both do a terrific job of displaying your treasures. Secondly, as you show them, I am carefully watching to see if I have any of the same ones. I have a few the same.
I am 77 and had the same Frosty the Snowman book as a child. What started your interest in vintage Christmas? For each of you, what was the very first Christmas vintage decoration that you found? Where did you find it?
Around the 7:31 mark that Santa and Mrs Clause with the pink apron, I picked it up and looked at the price, and put it back down it was$28.00 , not including tax that's just highway robbery, that was at an antique mall, I should have asked if they would have taken $15.00 it was dirty. ❤
Fabulous collection! You could charge to view it:) Thank you for telling us where you found some of the items. Love the picture you found on the side of the road! Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas..🎄🎄🎄
I love your tree so much I have scored about 12 vintage knee huggers. I will not put up a tree this year as my health is not good but next year you bet I will. Hope you girls have a very Merry Christmas and blessed New Year.
Love your collections and how you able to display it to make it look so inviting. Also, love the Scandinavian(?)wall hanging with the elves. I have one that is similar, but in red, that my mom bought at a Yule Feast probably in the 70's. Also, like the U of W Husky T shirt, though I rather prefer the Cougs myself. Am on the Husky side of the Cascades, but prefer cats over dogs, nothing personal.
Obsessed with your collection!! Would also love it if you guys did an updated, comprehensive video on how to identify vintage Christmas and how the styles and materials changed over the years
LOVE EVERYTHING!!!! What a fantastic display of vintage Christmas. I would be sitting all day/night, just admiring it all. For the past month, I've been helping my mom, due to her shoulder replacement surgery. A few weeks ago, I decided to bring in her Christmas tree, and decorate it. It's been years since she has used our vintage ornaments, and things that my brother and I made growing up. Mom loves the Victorian style, so she has decorated the tree with that genre, for a long time. It was so fun seeing the familiar ornaments again. The tree looks beautiful, with the ornaments, and colored lights. I also came upon a Santa. Mom, sometime, somewhere bought this Santa; as I pulled it out of the tissue paper, I was surprised. It was a Harold Gale!!! I just recently learned of them, and feel in love. I asked her if she knew what kind it was, she said no. So, I had to tell her. She said I could have it. What?! Of course I accepted. So he is displayed in my home. I absolutely love your red and gold Santa! You two have amazing items. Halloween is my favorite! Take care, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Your so blessed, for just a few years, oh my I've been collecting Christmas for 22 years, I don't have hardley much vintage I think because I live on the West Coast, I don't see much and we look all year around you have more from being on the East Coast.😊
Hi ladies! You did a fantastic job with your display! You have so many great pieces, and I'm more than a little jealous. I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving. My question is, how, where and when did you meet, and how long after you met did you start dating? And, if that's too personal, don't worry about it. I understand. If it's not too personal, may I ask, how long after you started dating did move in together? I'm sorry, I'm always curious about people's relationships. I was so happy for you when you told us you were getting married. I actually got all teary when we got to see the video. Anyway, keep doing your thing. It's always fun!😊
Wow! What an amazing display! Y’all are very talented when it comes to displaying your Halloween and Christmas collections. I saw several items that I have too. The first one I saw was the white and pink glass ornament with the pine trees painted on it. I have one that belonged to my parents. I also have the Western Santa on the stagecoach. Can you tell me who it is made by? I want to thank you for welcoming us into your home. That is so clever the way you did that! Have a Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁 🦃🍁 Keep on collecting!❤️🎄❤️
I love your decorating and all your items. I have quite a few of what you have being almost 70 I have my grandparents and parent's ornaments. Thank you for your wonderful videos. They are so relaxing and joyful. Happy Thanksgiving!
Your entire collection is next level, but I am especially envious of the Lefton (I think) angels riding the candy cane. I collect a lot of the vintage ceramics too, they are my favorites. Lefton, Holt Howard, Napco. Give your doggy a smooch on the noggin for me!
It is all very beautiful and enchanting. Yes, I too love the Christmas ceramics most of all. I look forward to what you will find in the coming year!!!!!

Good Lord, I recognized 90 percent of these decorations from my childhood. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! So, so fun!
