Just finished watching this. Clearing this game on a real thing (without TAS, I mean) without continues is almost beyond human capability as it demands quick reflexes, especially with the huge number of enemies, including ones that will make quick potshots that may nearly ruin your credit. And it does not help that you have to fight the last boss' 2nd phase without cover at all, as the shots coming from him may easily run your lives dry in a matter of moments.
Aside from capacity (and spread on the shotgun) the different weapons don't seem to have a power difference between them. All seem to be one shot one kill, no matter where you hit them and on the China boss, even the magnum rounds only took away one bar of health per hit!

The longer between appearing and shooting shortens the longer time between lives, to the point it becomes streight up 1 frame.
