The food looks very tasty, with all the fresh seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido. Two things I miss in your channel (which I have discovered only yesterday): why dont you give the price that you have paid there in the description ? Of course it can change due to season, how many people are staying in the room etc. / it would just be nice to get an estimate. Also: can you reach the ryokan by using public transport ?
Thanks a lot. Zaborin is really my favorite as modern and stylish inn in Japan.... Normally, for Japanese, I don't think its good option to show rough cost of inns considering mood of videos but for English videos, it should be good options. I will try to describe estimated cost for each inns at overviews of video. Zaborin is almost JPY150,000 -170,000 for 2 persons. Ein tolles Gasthaus. Nur, der Sichtbeton gefällt mir nicht. Das passt für mich nicht in den traditionellen japanischen Stil. Das hätte man anders lösen können und müssen. Letztlich ist es natürlich Geschmackssache.

Aber ich liebe diesen Gasthof wirklich, weil es in Japan keine anderen Gasthöfe gibt. Ich kann sagen, er ist wirklich wunderschön. Ich war so beeindruckt, dass der ausländische Eigentümer versucht hat, sein Verständnis für japanische Ryokan auszudrücken und diesen Stil geschaffen hat. Ich werde auf jeden Fall zu verschiedenen Jahreszeiten dorthin zurückkehren.
Too dark, feels cold like brutalism cold, i feel like that people who can appreciate this theme and ambiance are gloomy people who wants to be alone that dont like being around people. Too modern to be called a "ryokan"
I agree, actually its not ryokan, hotel should be right word to be expressed. I really like this place but don't think everyone like it because its not traditional Japanese style. On the other hand, I really feel their respect on Japanese ryokan and made it, I am sure to be back to there and enjoy it in different seasons.
