Such a majestic airplane. So rare to see in flying condition.
A view from the recliner. They could have used a few more of the P40s, Hellcats and Corsoirs in the Korean war. They were good ground attack aircraft and had the Wasp 2800 radial engine which made them more stable against ground fire then the P51s.
P-40 didn't have an R-2800 engine. They had an Allison V-12 1710. And they DID use Corsairs.
