Rising Park's Mount Pleasant in Lancaster Ohio - A short hike up a steep hill

As far as Ohio scenes go, nothing can beat the view from Rising Park's Mount Pleasant. The west-facing overlook takes in the surrounding foothills and city of Lancaster; Ohio's 29th largest city with a population estimate of just under 40,000.
The trail is no more than a quarter mile long, but you gain over 200 feet in that time, so prepare to be a little worse for wear by the time you reach the top!
The park itself including the trail was laid out in the very early 1900s so has a nice Edwardian/Victorian feel to it, and quite a lot of history.

The coolest part is being able to see downtown Columbus on the far right you can see sky scrapers in the distance and on the far left there’s a little ledge to walk out on that’s pretty cool

Also you can't go up on Mount pleasant a couple days before and during the firework show they close it of because they light fireworks down at the fairgrounds and on top of the "mountain"
