Yes, there is a momentary clutch on switch which it’s in charge of managing the high idle so that you cannot throttle up unless your clutch is engaged so it’s more of a high idol protection switch if you will. Let me know if that answers the question.
Hi Can you share the part number and maker detail for the clutch, pressure plate and release bearing kit? It would be helpful if you let me know where I can get these items.
Thanks for the video, for all the morbarks I have serviced this Vermeer clutch is the worst design I have seen for this application,, really!? and automotive clutch rather than a heavy duty multi disk clutch assembly!? , Im glad I dont own this unit- no wonder the one Im gearing up to do wore out so fast- time for a lesson to the crew of how little to slip this on startup compared to the Morbarks.
Yes sir no problem and I’ve done my fair share of comparing brands and where one succeeds the other one fall short I guess the best thing is not to look at things on the negative way. I have tried my self to look at things on the positive way and that keeps me happier all the time.

Is there a low idle switch on the clutch handle

Those are all all available through your local Vermeer dealer
How much was it for all the pieces you bought? The clutch pressure plate bearings etc. not cost of labor just of parts
That was $1800 and you just call your Varmeer Parts dealer and they’ll tell you exactly what you need and give you a complete kit for that amount
Anywhere i can find the torque specs on flywheel and pressure plate? Thanks
40 foot pounds on your fly wheel and 20 foot pounds on the pressure plate
Where did you get the clutch alignment tool from? I am doing this same job on a bc1400.
Bro I have about 10 of those things in my toolbox if you buy the parts from Vermeer it comes with the tool and self if you want I can send you one
