C ya round, we feel very blessed to live in this area of the country. And I agree, we often feel like we are living the dream. We just wish we could live it a little more frequently...
Group rides are the best. Back in the mid 2000s my circle of close riding buddies numbered about 8. At one point we all had DRZs. I haven’t ridden nearly as much since moving to NE WA. I still have the DRZ, plus a 2019 450 EXC-F and a two week old T7.
Delta Bravo, that is awesome. My brother Shelby still has a DRZ. We both just picked up 500exc-f for our dual sport needs. I am jealous of the T7. Those are hard to find. We you find the right group of guys to ride with it is fantastic. The good news is you have lots of great riding in NE WA and you are not far from Idaho
Very nice video. Good editing and production. Amazed you were able to amass a group of good riders. I've ridden the IDBDR solo twice. Would love to have tracks or map of the alternate routes you took. Especially the one out of Wallace. Many thanks for sharing. ~GrizzLee
Thank you, GrizzLee. We've been very fortunate to connect with such a good group. A guy, who knows a few guys, who each know a guy... (that idea. Could be a disaster, but this one isn't). I must say, I have enjoyed your videos as well. You have caused the "future rides" list to include points into BC, particularly a quest for unconventional ways to reach the Cariboo region. As with all gpx tracks, this is limited by where we DID go. There are a whole lot more trails and places we also could have gone (but didn't .... this time). If you find any bit of it useful, do enjoy! Link: drive.google.com/file/d/1vZvKa3mdtM6VgGJPHCmsveZ6kgLgfFZJ/view?usp=sharing
@@boondockbrosadv7317 Awesome thanks. 👍 Hoping to go back into BC this year. However, not all the nations lands are open to outsiders yet. I'm hopeful that there are no fires, floods or pandemics as we head into the fall. Some epic riding up there for sure. If you have any questions as you plan, you can reach me on ADVRider by my handle. Of course, you always welcome at my place. Im north of seattle/Everett... and all the bad traffic. Just over an hr to the border from here. Thanks ~GrizzLee
Great trip nothing better than a perfect group of friends and spectacular scenery. My group is heading out mid June from Alberta Canada to Utah Moab and National Parks and for more unfinished business off road from three years ago.
That sounds .... awesome! I would say "Epic", but I think I'm too old to get away with using that term in the way they do nowadays. Would love to see/hear more about it. -- S
Great video, pics and superb editing!!! It really brings out the beauty of that BDR. We did it with a group of friends last year, such great memories! Which BDR will be next? Keep the adventures going 💪🏻
Indeed, ride on! All of them are good, and there are also many other excellent routes that don't carry the BDR label as well. ... We won't make the new Wyoming BDR this year, but it looks pretty good. Thank you, Damian.
That was some amazing adventure! Loved that you were able to share it with so many like-minded people! Just makes it an extra-awesome experience! Sure looked like you had great weather! Perfect! Keep up the exploration!! Bruce and Otis
Thanks Bruce, It is such a neat privilege to be able to share rides with Shelby Goertzen and other great guys. Enjoy your adventures. Hope all is well with you and Ottis
There should be some sort of recognition for being the first we've seen here to quote Robert Frost!! .... .... I guess this is it. --- Here's to taking the one less traveled by. (For then we can tell about it, with a sigh, somewhere ages and ages hence).
Obrigado, Marco! Gostámos de ver alguns dos seus vídeos. Ainda muitos para ver. 👍👊 Thanks, Marco. We've enjoyed watching some of your videos. Still many to see.
Hi Markybarkyrides. The song is titled "A Wild Heart," is credited to Guy Jones via Alibi Music (Licensed Royalty Free service). alibimusic.com/track/?trackId=218368 Additionally, I did find it in Spotify under Alibi Music, as well as Boomplay.com (never heard of it before, lol). I hope that helps. Thanks! -- S
Funny story. For us, an offroader acquaintance mentioned it. The next week we were riding up out of Wallace, so we took the right turn. Turns out, it is a favorite way up for some of the riders in this group.
If that's not living the dream.... then i don't know what else is !! What a place WOW ...

Nice job Boys :)
Thanks 😁 Appreciate your support
How did you guys find Slate Creek road? Hardly anyone knows about that.

@@boondockbrosadv7317 I would take that road instead of moon pass most days. No traffic and less dust
@@dirtcopdualsport Absolutely. I don't see a downside to taking it over the main road. -- S
Street tires on the Idaho BDR, yes, I love it.
Yup. Gave me something to blame any mishaps on... Still waiting. 😉
Sure is a lot of burnt forest in Idaho.
Whats a BDR without some Ktm problems...
So, are you saying, "It's not a bug, it's a feature!"?? 🤣
