I watch everyday, my husband came in and saw your Millie's dress quilt and fell in love with it. So I ordered the same fabric and the pattern and now making it. He likes most of the quilts I make but never has he gotten so excited about a quilt then when he saw yours. He was so willing to buy the stuff for this one.
You are so much fun to watch and listen to. I am a shut in quilter (yes I thank God I am still able to sew everyday ) Enjoy all your patterns and Instructions.
We used the cafe clips to hang a tee shirt quilt I made for my son’s charity softball tournament this past Labor Day Saturday. He wanted to display it outdoors at the fields they play on. His idea was to make holes in the top and install grommets in it to hang it up!!! My husband and I came up with the cafe curtain clips a hang it with rope; worked great, and no holes in the quilt!

As the painter Bob Ross used to say, it’s a happy little accident-- I am speaking of the horse quilt and the red binding which I think was perfect. I think the gold/yellow stripe will look great for the jars quilt. Millie’s dresses is so pretty.

Made a Grateful Dead/Hippie/Tie Dye quilt for my nephew last year.
With the cafe clips, you can also expand your rod, past the part that hangs on the wall, and have clips past that part, to hang a bigger quilt.

I bought some of the patterns for Pressed Flowers. Thinking I will make a wall hanging out of 3 or 4 of them. Have perfect spot in living room for a narrow, long wall hanging. Was saving it for a cross stitch project I am working on. However, at speed I am stitching it will be empty forever😅😅.
Maybe the made binding could go in the corresponding project bin and the truly extra binding could go in the basket

I understand not liking the gathered look of a quilt hung with clips, but I'm wondering if you could try something like a slat in the hanging pocket and clip the binding only to the rings. That should keep it flat and give you some extra flexibility with the width?

I keep my binding (fabric) with each project in their container/basket. However I’m not producing anywhere near the quantity of quilts that you do so easier for me to keep it organized.
I’m my nephew’s Godmother, and he’ll be 60 in 2024. He was Baptized at 3 weeks old. I have a picture somewhere of me holding him as an infant, and we are both wearing tie dyed tee shirts that I tie dyed. Tie dyeing is popular again!
I am finishing a Tilda pattern called Daydreamer. The top is done and I need to redo the basting, the backing wasn't laying flat.

I’m planning on making the quilt that came with the box, it’s so pretty. I’m also hoping to make the bag out of the leftovers.
The binding thing almost happened to me today. I went to the drawer where I keep my binding fabric and binding I have made for projects. I thought I still had to cut the strips and make the binding, but what did I find. The binding already made for my quilt.

If i hang it for a few weeks using enough clips it won't be an issue. Quilt shops do this ALL the time. If you were to hang for years I imagine it will distort it
