Had the consequences of being a PoS been beaten into him 50+ years ago, he (hopefully) would have quit being such a trashy person back then. Jail is for Pre-trail or around 1 years. djt needs to be in prison with continual terms not concurrent. Read: needs to be incarcerated for at least 10 years or more!
Why did the Judge accept a nod? I’ve been in court as a Witness and on Jury Duty. The Judges wouldn’t except anything other than a loud and clear, Yes or No. BTW, one Trail for trespassing and work place threats. The Defendant, decide he’d be be a smart ass, and repeatedly say “No.” he was handcuffed and transported to Jail.

1. When the judge sets bail I can tell him I'll be back next week to pay it. (Prior to Trump, everyone else was immediately tossed in jail and told to ask family to get your money or call a bondsman. Trump was given a $200K bond and given 2 weeks of freedom to get it. Surely, we could use that precedence for some petty little $2 bond?)
2. When a verdict is reached and if it is not in my favor, ask the judge to play, "Let's make a deal." ($158 speeding ticket? Tell you what, I'll give you $70 right now and we call it even! Precedence? Trump was ordered to pay almost $500M, the court agreed to settle for $175M. Based on percentages alone, my $70 offer is a better deal!)

It's ridiculous that this isn't already a requirement. Our standards in America are just pathetically low in so many areas. Education, food and drugs, housing...the list goes on and on. How about some kind of minimal understanding of how our government actually works? Shouldn't that be mandatory for someone who wants to be the "leader of the free world"? As it stands, all you have to be is 35 years old, born in the U.S. and have an ego so big that you want to run an entire country. Oh yeah, and have access to a shit-ton of money to fund your campaign.
