I tried to mainly feature games between teams that weren’t ranked too close to each other, so that might be why I didn’t feature a game you were expecting. Hope you guys enjoyed!
thanks
ScoDucks2020 I did feature Georgia vs Auburn cuz it was later in the season and Georgia was #1. I just don’t think Bama beating Georgia in 2015 was that much of an upset cuz it was pretty early in the year and Bama beating anyone isn’t really much of an upset in my opinion.
@@pschighlights Technically Alabama beating Georgia in 2015 was an upset because Georgia was favored in that game. But even still they weren't ranked that far apart so it doesn't really go down as an "upset".
As a Georgia fan we never should have been favored in 2015 against Bama haha that was laughable
If there's a possibility you make another one of these, please include the #21 Texas A&M vs #9 South Carolina game from 2014.
Fun fact: that Portland State blowout vs North Texas got UNT's coach immediately fired before he could even do a postgame press conference.
i heard be got fired at halftime
Wow
Yep I can confirm. I booed him off the field
Miles Meador you experienced football history
another fun fact: psu was a three point favorite, the game was technically not an upset
Wisconsin had a god squad running back group. Melvin Gordon, James White, and Monte Ball!?!?!?
Good is an understatement
Coach Hammock is an amazing RB coach
@Ne Oublie I read "good" too and was gonna say something. Glad I read your comment beforehand 😂
They did
As incredible as that running back talent was, that year was a colossal disappointment. I was at two of those losses in person (MSU in OT, O$U in OT) and they were just a gutpunch. Urban Meyer can still get fucked.
That portland st blowout was the best thing that happened to UNT. We got a real coach finally.
Are you sure lil bro?
Weird to think that Clemson over Virginia Tech was once considered an upset
JOENEM and they’re still a contender in their division every year but nobody can compete with Clemson
JOENEM I think Miami will win the division, D’Eriq King will fix their main problem which was on the offense specifically quarterback
@@rmichels05 they dont play anyone good except maybe unc
Virginia Tech bite the OHIO State at OHIO State so Clemson can SUCKIT!
And if the playoff had been invented the year that happened, that could've gone into the 'There Goes Your Playoff Chances' compilation
These videos just make me miss that sweet sweet early 2010s espn scoreboard
Iowa and upsets go together like pb&j
Tyler Sash and Micah Hyde are two names I haven't heard in a while
@@ruraladventurer1884 yea he's on the bills right now.
Especially blowouts
YBRE Dunc him and jordon power are some dam good safety’s not the best but really good
@@ruraladventurer1884 RIP Tyler sash
4:12 the fact the guy had the foresight to lateral the ball to his teammate that had a better opportunity is genius
That Nebraska one hurt. One of the best teams they’ve had in about 15 years. Chance to go to the rose bowl and they give us that performance against Wisconsin.
As a Nebraska fan, when I saw the thumbnail I was smh 🤦♂️
Lol
Tony Preston this won’t happen this year cuz our schedule sux but hopefully sometime we can shock everyone like what Baylor did
I remember that game very well. My dad was so pissed that day since he's a die hard Nebraska fan. It seems we haven't recovered form that game since we're so terrible now. My dad has optimism for next year (if there'll ever be a season), but my optimism was already gone when we went 0-6, 2 years ago.
Same! How many years did we do that to opponents. We got a dose of our own medicine
@@cornhuskerfever And the medicine tastes like salt, and I mean a lot of salt.
That 2017 Georgia-Auburn game was something else
4:14
That was the smartest and most unselfish thing I've ever see on the field
Not only that his quick think led to a TD
Amazing
Perhaps so, but it's very very risky. Mess it up and the ball goes back to MSU.
@@howlincoyote2k1
Football is about risk. You’re risking it every time you throw it or carry it, you gotta make daring calls.
What a block Kenny Bell!!!
Hell yeah I will never forget him
That made me happy in a very frustrating game! GBR!!!
this is gunna be a banger
I don’t know if you have done this, but it would be interesting to see “Streak Busting wins”
As a navy fan, no that would not be fun
Dylan DiMaggio It’s ok, I’m a Kentucky fan, I feel your pain
LSU-Alabama 2019 would be guaranteed to be on that list. The Crimson Tide had a 31 home game winning streak going into that classic, the longest in SEC history, dating back to 2015. Burrow and his pals brought that streak to an end with one of the greatest offensive performances I've ever seen.
@@thunderbird1921 and broke our 8 game streak
Holy cow 70 points by the badger but that running core is insane
As a WVU fan these were very sad moments
0:05
Remember when Nebraska left the Big12 because they claimed to be overshadowed by Oklahoma and Texas?
XD
no they left because they thought the conference was controlled by texas
@@Harrilord I thought it was Okla too. Doesn't Okla also have their own network like the Horns and after those two schools got deals with networks, Nebraska said they were fed up?
Nebraska's offense is as flat as their states horizon
really nice pairing with the teams. seeing one upset the other at different rimes in two different games.
That Auburn team in 2017 should have made the playoff after beating Georgia and Alabama. Too bad they didnt show up at the SEC Championship
7:57 Her look said it all.
Montee ball, James white, and melvin Gordon all in the same backfield. Pretty insane.
7:14 "Tysom hill the dont have an answer for him"
....7 yrs later they still don't have an answer for him.
I wouldn't call a 16-point win a "blowout."
It is when it is an upset
@@OvertheHIL524 Is it though? 2 scores is not a blowout.
@@JonSobel when a team is an underdog, absolutely
@@OvertheHIL524 We're going to have to agree to disagree. A 2 score win isn't a blowout. It's an upset, sure. But a blowout is normally 3 scores or more. Not something that can be tied in 2 plays from scrimmage.
Agreed and no, it isn't a blowout even in an upset...words have meaning.
What about Iowa’s 50 burger they put on #6 Ohio state in 2017. Final: 55-24. Iowa was not even ranked!! Go hawks baby!!
That was in Part 1
Kansas at Boston College 2019. Kansas was +21 and won by 24
I guess it was an Upset, but PSC Highlights considered Non- Ranked Teams, against Ranked Teams.
Early 2000s films makes me feel old. Some of these teams haven't recovered or looked back since.
Troy Smith Ted Gonna and Santonio Holmes. Jesus that was a stacked trio right there looking back at them.
I saw that nebraska wisconsin game in person. I'm a nebraska fan :(. At least kenny bell had the biggest hit I've ever seen
Good runs n execution
hopefully there's a part 3! hawaii vs (#8) byu 2001 is a good one but the footage is probably old lol, hawaii won 72-45
Yo Utah Utes fan here. Would love to see that also our rivalry BYU got slammed.
Did Hawaii beat #7 BYU 56-14 in 1989?
And again Hawaii beat #3 BYU 59-28 in 1990? Go Utes! Go Rainbows!
Yes they did upset them back to back haha, and 1990 was when BYU’s Detmer won the heisman. It’s a good rivalry and I’m glad they played last year in a bowl game.
Also I’m with you, go rainbow warriors and utes! I was pulling for Utah to make the playoff last year but they still had a great season
Awesome game, nice job badgers
Maryland vs Syracuse 2019 was technically an Upset...
I was on the field for that Arizona UCLA thrashing. Great game, bear down
Montee Ball (NCAA career & single season TD record, Heisman Finalist, Doak Walker Winner)
Melvin Gordon (#2 NCAA single season Rush Yds, Heisman Runner-up, Doak Walker Winner)
James White (Super Bowl record for points scored and receptions, only man to score in OT of a Super Bowl, actual most valuable player of Super Bowl LI)
Should that Wisconsin-Nebraska game even be considered an upset?
The first one the announcers gave up every time Wisconsin scored
This one should be called "WVU getting embarrassed over and over and over"
I thought you would've put Hawaii vs BYU 2001. BYU was ranked #8 that game looking to secure a BCS bowl game. But Hawaii smashed them 72-45. They had Nick Rolovich, Chad Owen's, Ashley Lelie. Definitely should be on your next one🤙🏽
That game, the offenses combined for 1200 yards and 12 turnovers. Rolovich also threw 8 TDs.
6:05 I love how Arizona State scored 3 safeties in that game.
I just love the fact that this game was remembered for this type of vid. Barely anything from the previous millenium. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DEVILLLLLLLLLLLLLLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were number 1 once?
excellent video which could also be titled "The Evolution of the Touchdown Celebration"
I think my comment was read! He put in Clemson beating #3 FSU! I remember being there man as a 4-5 year old. That stadium was electric that night.
Did he also put in FSU beating #3 Clemson 51-14 @ Death Valley?
6:50-7:20 taysom hill being taysom hill
Found that Virginia Richmond one of the most improbable here. Richmond got blown out by big sky teams like EWU and then they pull of a win against Virginia
You could add Iowa 2021. TWO BACK TO BACK blowouts to unranked teams as a #2 and #9
Michigan Notre Dame 2019. That was a beatdown
More people Expected Michigan to Win!
we got them now!!!!
Should’ve put Kenny Bell’s hit in there just because
Buckeyes fan. Fully expected the upset against Purdue to be here.. only Buckeyes game I've ever attended. It was a long walk back to the car 🙃
BYU actually had another upset blowout in 2014 against #25 Texas, 41-7. Taysom Hill had three TD's again. If you do a part 3, that would be a good one to include.
Blowouts have become a major part of College Football 🏈
Unfortunately because big teams pay cupcakes for them to get destroyed
LOL😎🏈!
i remember that 2017 georgia auburn game. i never thought it would be auburn of all people winning that, considering they also upsetted alabama that year.
only for just a year later to be upsetted by tennessee 30-24
7:37 this team went to James hardens school of defense 😂😂
You forgot one at least. What about Penn State blowing out 8th ranked Nebraska (although I think at game time they were ranked 4th) by the score of 40-7 back in September of 2002. I was in attendance and that was an awesome blowout that night. Penn State was unranked in that game.
Damn, Wisconsin sure did give Nebraska a B1G welcome.
🦡❤️😎
The Clemson-va tech games reminds me of 2019 pac12 championship game
Lmao 12:52
That block though 😂😂
If you do a part 3 I got 2 games for you both from University of Southern Mississippi:
TCU VS USM 2003 and Houston VS USM 2011
That Clemson game was an omen. Lol
Good grief. #15 (3 loss) K-State blows out undefeated consensus #1 Oklahoma 35-7 in 2003 Big XII championship.
If Roberson was healthy that whole year we don’t have 3 losses we have 1 or 2 but it would’ve made that lose seem better for you guys
The final score of the Iowa State-West Virginia game does not depict how bad of a beat down West Virginia took. They couldn't do ANYTHING that night.
7:57 Why was I laughing so hard 😂
Dude same she is done 😂😂
I feel bad for the teams who got blown out
Why? It is the opposing team's task to stop the other team. If they can't... well, they lose. A team can win or tie, lose with grace, or lose ugly. It's THAT damn simple! Wins are golden. Ties and losses truly suck.
That's life. Deal with it. Here endth the lesson.
Well at least they got to play, most of us keyboard warriors can't hit the field even in high school
@@DanielSong39 I will agree with you! I played sports and served in the Army. When I was 35, I was diagnosed with a heart valve defect. I shouldn't have been doing ANY of that stuff....
But I Did!!😜
@@jusnuts1443 I feel bad for the players when it's a division 3 school getting run over by a power 5 team. They're set up to fail and be embarrassed because the other team is just simply built different and it's not a fair fight, and all so their school can make some money.
@@walker1997 It's all business. Which doesn't make things right, but that's reality. It's as pathetic as putting a Pop Warner team up against high school team.
🐐 youtuber
Yessir💯
Where the hell is michigan vs notre dame this year that was a good one to put in here
Actually, it wasn’t an Upset, more People Expected Michigan to Win.
SpartanGamer well no the fuck they didnt, and 45 - 14, it would fit very well in this video.
That auburn game had me LIT to bad we blew it.War Eagle 🦅
2017 was one wild season. We fans of CFB were enjoying the 2017 Iron Bowl and other showdowns, with many of us secretly wondering if it would really matter much since North Korea now had ICBM nukes. LOL.
2005 camera quality might as well be Tecmo Bowl.
The Portland State - UNT game set the record for the biggest beatdown by a current FCS team over a current FBS team with 59 points. It should have been 66 points, but in the fourth quarter, Portland pulled their starters and UNT scored their only TD during garbage time.
Oregon beating Cal ending up being kind of the opposite lol
2013 Sugar Bowl Louisville over Florida.
Anyone else see 35 get absolutely clocked at 12:53?
Here’s a suggestion the next time you make one of these. Make sure to put how much the good team is favored by.
#10 Louisville 63 vs #2 Florida State 20 (2016)
#22 Louisville 33 vs #3 Florida 23 Sugar Bowl (2013) I’ll never forget those.
33-23 is not a blowout.
Possible other games to include: USC vs Texas 2018, TEX 37-14
9) USC vs Stanford 2009, STAN 55-21
Wisconsin vs 21) Michigan State 2003, WIS 56-21
Texas Tech vs 4) Oklahoma 2007, TTU 34-13
Penn State vs. 19) Wisconsin 2007, PSU 38-7
5) Texas Tech vs 2) Oklahoma 2008, TTU 65-21
5) Florida State vs 3) Clemson, FSU 51-14
24) Alabama vs 9) Clemson 2008, BAMA 34-10
19) Clemson vs Georgia Tech, GT 28-6
It’s 2020 and they still don’t have an answer for Taysom Hill
I like how you peed on the side of the bowl during the clemson and fsu game that was mighty generous of you.
LSU Georgia 2018
If there’s one thing that’s sure to happen is the losing teams will have a long long upsetting talk in the locker room!! Yikes 😱 🥺😱
Holy Moly Masoli
Damn, Marvin McNutt. That's a name I haven't heard in a hot minute. Forgot all about him
Louisville vs Florida st. was a huge blowout victory in 2016
No it was a huge Heisman show
UVA-WVU sounds like a fun matchup, why hasn't that been scheduled recently?
There had been animosity between the two when UVA's old Ivy League style scramble band did a field show that played on the "hillbilly" stereotypes about West Virginia. After a second incident at a bowl game, UVA went marching and the Cavaliers and Mountaineers still don't play each other.
Seems like almost all of these are at home. Cool.
This needs to be upsets on the ranked team's home field. When the ranked team is on the road they won't get the calls and the crowd will make a difference.
Can the Coronavirus go away so we can have college sports please.
Michigan fan now that UConn has canceled football there could be more school that cancel and then no college football this year.
Lscott 2002, I agree it’s going to be Hard without College Football Games, a Game Day, a Game Day without Lee Corso putting a Mascot head on, I live in Michigan, Go Green Go White!
@Michigan fan im sorry, but we suck
That Iowa lateral-pick 6 was such a smart play.
Taylor sash (r.i.p) and Micah Hyde were one the best
1990 Holiday Bowl No. 13 BYU, with the Heisman Trophy winner, got stomped by non-ranked Texas A&M 65-14.
Louisville vs Florida State 2016??
Wvu always chokes when their good
If you ever make a part three please include Kentucky vs. #14 Mississippi State from 2018. Kentucky won 28-7 which idk if that’s considered a blowout or not but it was still a big win
4:12 watching that game right now
Do notre dame vs Oklahoma in 2012. ND was ranked higher but it was an upset since OU was an 11 point favorite.
1990 Fiesta Bowl, Louisville thumped #2 or maybe#3 Alabama. I believe it was 34 to 10 if I'm not mistaken. Also 1993 unranked Louisville destroyed top ten Texas, gave them one of there biggest losses they had ever had at that point.
LSU v Oklahoma 2019. LSU v Georgia southern 2019
Do you have a block cost football
BGSU vs. NIU all week leading up to the game was, "After NIU wins the MAC championship, do they go to a major bowl?"
2001 : Texas / Colorado, Big 12 championship
2010 - UCLA 34, No. 7 Texas 12
Georgia returned the favor to Auburn in the SEC title game to secure a spot in the CFP where they beat Oklahoma but lost to Alabama in the final.
ND@Miami should be on one of these
I'm in my early 20s and i know about the 85 game. I was talking about the 2017 game though, I'm not sure if it is in part 1
6-4 Michigan winning 28-0 over 9-0-1 Ohio State in 1993 was a pretty big one.
