We live in a country where our own national anthem is apparently so divisive that we'll have to skip it entirely, yet we'll proudly play other nation's national anthems as if they're ours. I have lost hope for America.
Why is it that every Russian-born American (and those of Russian ancestry) are horrified by what Russia is doing to Ukraine, and the only Americans who seem to support Russia’s war-of-choice are non-Russian Americans who love Cheeto Jesus? Could it be less about Russia and Ukraine and more about these pitiful excuses for Americans’ hatred for everyone who doesn’t think as they do?
I agree that most of us, Russian Americans, who run from Russia and who were born here, are on the side of Ukraine, but I also think most of this crap happens only because of Russian government, and unable present government of the USA. By the way, I love USA, I am so glad we got out of Russia many years ago.

My point was that the Trumpers seem to be on Russia’s side because most Americans are on Ukraine’s side (and Trumpers like to view themselves as a persecuted minority), and possibly also because their own hero licks Putin’s boots, and also because Trumpers would ultimately like to establish a Putin-like government here, with Trump as the leader.
