Never smoked, never did drugs, a sometimes stressful engineering career, but once I went contracting I had lots of time off between gigs and went to thailand or florida or So cal and relaxed. Gambling every day and sweating pot after pot causes a lot of stress for most of these guys. Most of these older poker pros busted out years ago and now are staked or sell themselves on those websites where investors can buy pieces of their action. Very very few have bankrolls, investments, passive income, etc

I think what a lot of people don't realise, is that Tony G was only an absolute trumpet to people who think highly of themselves. Phil Hellmuth, the poker brat, was always his main target to belittle and put on tilt. He loves taking people down a peg. But everyday players? Tony G is often respectful and gracious. How many realise that he gives the majority of his winnings away to the poor? The man is a class act.
