Random fact: The Macy's Thanksgiving day parade used to have two balloons of Scat and his acorn, and it would look like he was chasing it down the parade route. When Blue Sky shut down, they got rid of the Scrat balloon (Because Blue Sky owned the balloon but no longer had the rights to Scrat after the shut down), but for some reason kept the acorn balloon and used it again, just without Scrat chasing it. Me and my friend call it the 'out of context acorn'.
I thought it was cute. He always wanted a family of his own, and with manny having his own kid and him feeling unneeded, he thought this was the closest to family he could get, and sort of realized that despite being klutzy, he wasn’t doing a TERRIBLE job.

In 2016, my year (UK) went to see ice age 5, it was pretty much just a "school is almost over and you have nothing coming up so pay this and watch the movie" and the most i remember other people around me reacting was when my friend turned to me smirking when the love interest for sid was introduced
Although I never liked their films apart from the first two Ice Age films growing up, I’m a little sad that Disney shut Blue Sky down. I was thrilled to hear that their animated Nimona adaptation was picked up by another studio, but I wish Blue Sky’s film adaptation of the comic strip Mutts, which started production about 10 years ago, wasn’t cancelled. It was one of my favorite comics as a kid (especially since I love cats), and its screenplay was written by the comic’s creator and his brother, which would have made it as accurate and respectful to the original source as the Peanuts film was with Schultz’ comic strips and animated specials.
Buck carried the movies when things went downhill. Honestly, if I was in charge, I’d stop at “Dawn of the Dinosaurs” Movie Wise and then do a short later on to show what happened to Buck with his Song in the Astroid movie. Like it’s the perfect way to end off a movie.

I remember when I was 4, i watch the ice age 4 movie, and at the end where the- uh monkey? Ape? Idk I forgot what he was- got lured by the siren- thing. And got eaten, I was hella terrified.
When I was a kid, we had the Ice Age board game (look it up, it was glorious, it had a DVD and the minigames were all interactive on the TV) and my sisters and I loved it so much we played it all the time. Still a little mad though that I couldn't play as the Rudy piece. As for the movies, I honestly didn't even see the first one for years. I lowkey thought The Meltdown was the first, and when I found out it wasn't I was so confused. The first one was...weird. The Meltdown was easily my least favorite. There was nothing wrong with it per say, I just didn't really care for it. Dawn of the Dinosaurs was a work of art and the best one by far. Continental Drift was pretty good but it just never passed DoD. Collision Course was...also quite weird, but I did like it. Everything after that was a disgrace and should never be spoken of.

I love the first few Ice Age movies. I haven't watched the fourth and while the fifth screamed "this franchise has run its course", it was quite visually gorgeous and made it canon that Scrat is God (because in this movie, he arranged the solar system together with the help of a spaceship. Yep, that one off gag in the first movie became a plot device).
It's not really good. I mean sure, you can watch it, but it has terrible animation and boring script, if anything, I would recommend you to watch this movie with Scrat tales shorts. At least it will be slightly better

7:41 I googled my name and added core to the title,and I got an aesthetic the exact same to that and I remember being OBSESSED with the ice age movies and I thought they were all masterpieces. So much so that I watched the first one almost everywhere I went on my starter tablet. (I had it downloaded) I was a die hard ice age fan.

Also I’m deeply ashamed of what they did to the franchise. 4 and 5 were amazing animation wise and passable on every other category, but the 6th one is a cinematic war crime.
I use to be so obsessed with the third movie out of all of them it was the one I watch the most and also had a kind of a crush of Buck Wild too.

When I was a kid, we had the Ice Age board game (look it up, it was glorious, it had a DVD and the minigames were all interactive on the TV) and my sisters and I loved it so much we played it all the time. Still a little mad though that I couldn't play as the Rudy piece.
As for the movies, I honestly didn't even see the first one for years. I lowkey thought The Meltdown was the first, and when I found out it wasn't I was so confused. The first one was...weird. The Meltdown was easily my least favorite. There was nothing wrong with it per say, I just didn't really care for it. Dawn of the Dinosaurs was a work of art and the best one by far. Continental Drift was pretty good but it just never passed DoD. Collision Course was...also quite weird, but I did like it. Everything after that was a disgrace and should never be spoken of.
The real moment you realise scrat is an absolute CHAD of a character is when he leaves the Lady squirrel. He once again became a chad

I love the first few Ice Age movies. I haven't watched the fourth and while the fifth screamed "this franchise has run its course", it was quite visually gorgeous and made it canon that Scrat is God (because in this movie, he arranged the solar system together with the help of a spaceship. Yep, that one off gag in the first movie became a plot device).

It's not really good. I mean sure, you can watch it, but it has terrible animation and boring script, if anything, I would recommend you to watch this movie with Scrat tales shorts. At least it will be slightly better
ice age 3 has so many good memories attached to it for me, but ill never forget when i was casually watching it on tv one night and then my tooth fell out and there was blood absolutely everywhere, everytime i am reminded of the movie i think about that day
also when ice age 5 came out my friends and i were on camp and we named a stuffed toy bronwyn because of buck and thats the only thing i remember about that movie
