- Here is my Disney's Riviera Resort One Bedroom Villa Preferred View Room Tour!
Originally, I had booked a Deluxe Villa Preferred Room at Disney's Riviera Resort, but when I scanned my Magic Band to enter my room, I noticed (not immediately haha!) that I had gotten upgraded to a One Bedroom Villa Preferred View!
I couldn't believe how gorgeous not only the villa was, but the overall look and feel of Disney's Riviera Resort.
Disney's Riviera Resort is the newest Disney Vacation Club resort on property. This beautiful resort is inspired from a trip that Walt and Roy Disney took with their wives to Europe for 2 months. On that trip, Walt Disney fell in love with the architecture, art, and culture of Europe. The Disney Imagineers incorporated Walt's love of the all the European influences into this resort.
Here are several reasons why you should look into staying at Disney's Riviera Resort on your next vacation to Walt Disney World:
1) Accommodations: Disney's Riviera Resort offers a variety of accommodations, including deluxe studios, one and two bedroom villas, and three bedroom grand Villas. All rooms are bright and beautifully appointed with small Disney touches throughout the room. There is also a variety of views that you can reserve including standard (parking lot views) and preferred views (pool, skyliner, courtyard, lake, or landscaping).
2) Dining: While Disney's Riviera Resort is small, it does not skimp on the dining. In fact, Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, serves as one of the more popular dining locations across the Walt Disney World resort, serving breakfast and dinner with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Other options include Le Petit Café, serving coffee and pastries, and Bar Riva, which offers poolside drinks and light bites.
3) Transportation: One of the main draws to Disney's Riviera Resort, is by far Disney's newest form of transportation, the Disney Skyliner. The Disney Skyliner is an aerial gondola system, that can take you to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios in minutes (and in style!). Additionally, there is the complimentary bus transportation near the front of the lobby that can take you to all 4 theme parks and Disney Springs.
4) Amenities:Disney's Riviera Resort has a wide range of amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. These include an outdoor pool with a waterslide and poolside cabanas, a fitness center, a children's play area, a lawn to play bocce ball, "Movies Under the Star" experience, and a full-service spa.
