    I purchase one of these three years ago. I use mine a lot for cooking and as a fire pit. I camp 14 days a month and It is still working great for me. I have not had any breaks or any problems with it. It is so refreshing to buy something that does not fall apart in in months.

      We have used ours about 10 times so far. Glad to hear they hold up!

    I'm going to have to get one of those. I thought I had the smallest grill but that breaks down MUCH better than mine!

    I saw that Brian uses springs he bought at Hime Depot to keep the grill from sliding. Nice little mod.

    That's a great grill for van/RV life. Still in a house but camp frequently. This would be wonderful to have. I just finished binge watching your 5 minute Fridays. Do you still do these occasionally? Love the short format, and how informative they are!

    I bought a pit/grill like this, different company, same idea but the grill idea is a little different. The one I have uses the same grill that folds like this one but have a system where the grill is elevated and doesnt sit flat on the panels. It gives you space to add wood or charcoal without moving the grill. Problem is... the grill system they use is wobbly and cheap. It hooks onto 2 of the panels allowing the grill to sit a couple inches above the pit but cheap and wobbly. I now use my other flat grill to lay on top like this one you are showing.

      Pretty good idea! I like this one because it is so easy to set up and use with charcoal. If I have a camp fire, i just shovel some hot coals into my stove. Works like a charm!

    Any idea when these will be back in stock? Also your thoughts on the fox outfitter grill vs the UCO?

    • @RobandMarvy
      @RobandMarvy  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Maggie. Ido not know anything about UCO. I just have seen the Fox being used over the years by others. I have used mine six times so far and love it. I see Fox has four in stock right now ... www.foxoutfitters.com/quick-grill-medium-folding-flatpack-bbq/

      I've used both - get the UCO. It's not even a contest. In fact, I'm not sure I trust the opinion of someone who thinks the "Fox" unit should be on anyone's Top 100 list. There are so many better stoves of all types out there, I actually doubt much of the Amazon feedback.

    You must be talking about AdventureVanMan Brian. I've seen him using one of these. Do you know if you can just burn wood in there instead of charcoal?

    • @RobandMarvy
      @RobandMarvy  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Dove, Yep saw Brian using one and it looked great. I saw pics of people burning wood in one. We will probably do that once we get in an area where we can get fallen wood that is dry and manageable for the size of the grill.

      @@RobandMarvy Would have liked to have seen you give a nod to the 'Van Man' in the video.
      Skillet flipped over grilling food, Hawkins rice pressure cooker, and electric stove element covers for serving plates are some ideas he has 'pasted along.'
      Thanks!👍
