The Yellow Speeders? Idk, im not the best name creator, but i just saw their yellow-ish color, and thought 'the yellow speeders' lol. Love that nest, could you send a link to it? I might get that for christmas, as i have a semi-large colony of Argintine ants (because they were the only ants i could find in my backyard). :(
I believe that steel mesh circular pond thingy is only for humidity for the queen and the brood. You still need to provide your ants a water feeder and test tubes with water ☝️
What do you think of the labyrinth formicarium? It seems to be less modular and doesn’t seem to come with tubing (this is just speculation after looking at the website).
I have multiple things to comment so I will just combine them into 1 post. 1st: Nest is WAY to big, I keep Camponotus and guarantee you they make a trash pile inside the nest and poop a lot in it. 2nd: You're actually supposed to put your finger over the mesh when you fill-up the NestMate. 3rd: They actually hibernate with small(1st instar) larvae. 4th: Also, you've spent so much money on ants. Like wtf. Are you made of money? (This is more of an observation than a comment) 5th: Name them The Corn Stars cause their gastors kinda look like a piece of unpopped popcorn.
@@antsanatomy1436 The nest might be okay if they were growing but rn they're not cause winter is coming. Hopefully, the trash pile won't mold because of how the hydration system works.
Btw when filling a nest mate you should plug the mesh end with your finger so no water comes out
"Black Bishops" goes hard as a crematogaster name.
The golden lumberjacks.
Cool I’m planning on getting one of THA’s formicariums too!
Thank you for the video
Great review. I like the look of that formacarium. And omg, you're so close to 1,000!!!

Mine came with more tubing than I need, on top of the tubing that I got extra with the move in kit, PLUS the 2 additional nestmates

I like the name, I think your over exaggerating the size of the nest I don’t think it’s that big but we will see.
