aaaaaand finally I'm back with another video! Originally, I was working on an even longer video starting since April 😳😳 but I guess that had to wait, as I 'accidentally' worked on this when finding queen ants. So here we are after 600+ clips, almost a month of filming, and about a week of editing, I have returned with an even better video than the last. Currently I have 4 other videos in folders, so all I have to do now is grind them out this summer. More videos are coming soon, so I hope you're ready for them. I want to create more than one video a month, so as a result, I created a Patreon if you want to help support me. If you want to see more behind the scenes, current projects, and even shoutouts in future videos, check it out for yourself :D Even if you're not planning to, I greatly appreciate you reading this. Patreon: www.patreon.com/enderants?fan_landing=true Definitely the longest comment I have ever written for a video, but I feel like I owe it for the lack of uploads this year. Hope you're all doing well, stay hydrated this summer, and bestest of luck with finding queen ants! See you soon friends.
Unfortunately, the queen died a while ago out of unknown reasons 😔😔 The workers survived, and I cared for them until they all died out too. Hoping to find another soon, because they were really cool ants.
Dude, this is by far the most interesting video I've seen this month, and i just HAD to try it out. I actually now have one of my newly caught camponotus noveaboracensis and watching them find just the right spot, and dig out the perfect hole is just crazy cool. She was seemed to relax way quicker than most queens i tube.
Ooh, nice, and thank you! Yeah I can agree, its really interesting and entertaining watching them just dig out a chamber. Wishing your queen the bestest of luck founding a colony!
That was a lot of queens there, I can't believe all that looks so good yet few materials were used now that's what we need(I need more ideas to make formicaruim/outworld can you help on that???)

Hey ender ants, I’ve been subscribed to you and have been following you for a couple years now and I just wanna tell you how insanely your videos have been getting. The quality and your editing skills are really showing and you have improved so much. I love seeing your videos and I can tell how much time you put into each one. Your videos are getting better than the last. Your growth reflects on your talent and ability to put out content and SEXY ASF shots that makes ants Canada look like an amateur. I hope you keep on growing and you see major success, fellow ant keeper:)

This video was amazing and the footage was great they waiting definitely paid of. Did you warm the sides so they dig there or were you just really lucky? I really loved seeing the dorimyrex queen digging her chamber i need to make more naturalistic setups myself
Thank you Ant Land! I watered the sides a lot more than the middle, so I think thats why they dug there. And I can agree, the Cone ant queen was really cool yo see!
Right now I'm trying to find paraoh ant colony from wild but I can't find the species no where winter also is coming soon and right now outside of house is like tornado weather. I should probably find ant map. Where should I look for paraoh ants ?

Nice cinemetography! You got some neat footage of your queens digging. Makes me think this is a better alternative to just putting queens in test tubes. They wanna work!
Thank you! This video is probably my best in terms of videography. I asked on instagram to help ID the queen, and most have said it was some kind of Solenopsis/Thief ant.
For the hydration problem: use multiple plastic straws stuffed with cotton balls, coat with fluon of course, and stick it at the corners of the substrate. Then just pour water into it.
Ender ants I need ur opinion so I have a messor barbarous colony about 50 workers in a small setup (watch one of my yt involving them to see it) should I move them into a dirt one for them to dig because it’s cheaper or aclyric nest? I think they would like a natural dirt one, but if you want to see them more often, then an acrylic nest is the best choice. I would put them into a natural setup just to see them how you would in the wild.
Yes, feed them lots of protein, and give them sugars. The protein will be able to make the larvae grow quicker. Sugars could be from fruit to soda. I recommend blueberries, lots of my colonies like that. If you want more tips, you can also email me or send me a message on Instagram or Discord found in the description.

@@EnderAnts question how do you keep your ants in a container?
Since they don’t always crawl to the top, I keep the lid on, but not sealed all the way. If they do go to the top, I use an olive oil barrier
