If you live in America, or are scared of flying, or just jealous of anyone who flew Concorde, then try the A380 while you still can. Taking off feels like a warehouse building smoothly floating up. A big plane is a good plane. Economy on Emirates is better than domestic business on a tiny twin-jet.
Filming this was FOMO panic filled with adrenaline for 30 mins - everyone else was bored waiting to land. I was reaching for more & more incredibly awkward angles with my iPhone X and every time I thought I had all the shots and finished up, I'd spot TWO planes at once, then THREE planes at once.
Holding pattern into DXB via IMPED - the optimized "trombone" was new for December 2017.
Flight level was probably 25,000 feet, near the upper limit. Lower limit was 10,000 feet.
