    The tax reform is the best way to make Nigeria great. All the sleeping governors will wake up from slumber and develop their states.

    I haven't lived in Nigeria for more than 40 years, but I'm against any form of taxation in Nigeria because government officials and politicians use citizens' money as their piggybank. Look at Nigeria in tatters! Citizens provide their own electricity, water. Our tertiary institutions are run down. Each time you turn around you hear that one politician or a government official stole some humongous amount.
    Look at Tinumbu, what type of value does Tinumbu create that gives him the right to the humongous wealth that he has. Wike is the same, wealth without enterprise. These are despicable characters who feast on taxpayers' money.
    Pay taxes to help Tinumbu, Akpabio, the rest of the terrible characters survive.

    The junta in Niger republic created its own problems. It’s having a hard time looking for who to blame. They can’t export their crude oil through pipelines that runs through Benin republic because the two countries have closed their borders. They export their Uranium through Libya but the Turkish companies buying it pays a pittance compared to what France pays. Since they are out of ECOWAS, their people, goods & services can’t pass through our borders without visas and tariffs which makes things very expensive. So economically things are tough for them. Nigeria has stopped providing economic aid it use to give them.

      ok Mr fake news , firstly according to IMF report Niger has the third fastest economic growth in the world and first in Africa. secondly France pays €0.4cent per kilo. Paying €0.4/Kg instead of €200/Kg is the same as taking Uranium for free

    Robust consultation my foot, so that the bill will not be pass and it's obvious that it is clear that the northern parts of the country has been voicing their voice that they are going to unseat tinubu and if tinubu want to make a mark he should doing everything possible for the bill to be pass

    So the Government should set up a contact team to engage someone who made unfounded allegations? lol. So if I make an allegation against America, Trump should send someone to me ? That’s not a valid take. Plus what is wrong with have a foreign military base in Nigeria if the contractual framework is properly handled?

    An Obi/Shekarau ticket in 2027 won't be a bad idea. Both men have passed the integrity test. Both men are loved in their domains and can stand tall against the ruling party. Nigerians should be able to test the waters of uncertainty.

      Shekarau/Obi, must Obi be the president?

    • @StandardAsiaPrivate
      @StandardAsiaPrivate 21 день тому

      @JamalAhmed-k9b The presidency is still rotated to the South and Senator Ibrahim Shekarau is from the North (the last time I checked).

      @@JamalAhmed-k9b Yes, has to be Obi in a ticket with Shekarau. Plus, Northern Nigeria will have to wait. Now you all understand the decorum of negotiation and inclusivity. Attributes that were completely absent under Buhari, yet you mostly embraced his leadership and gave him block votes for a second term even though he was clearly in over his head from the very first term.

      @@antnam4406 Your myopic sense of reasoning clearly shows how unintelligent you are. Obi is a verifiable entity in Nigeria and Google search is your friend.
