Sean Juhl, violist has performed solo, chamber music and orchestral concerts in venues around the world such as Amsterdam's Royal Concertgebouw Hall, London’s Royal Albert Hall, New York's Carnegie Hall, and Prague's Smetana Hall.
In the summer of 2021, Sean Juhl became a fellow in the London Symphony Orchestra’s Keston MAX program at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, CA, and performed with the LSO in March 2022. In 2019 Sean won first prize in the Juilliard School’s Viola Concerto Competition, and performed with the Juilliard Orchestra in Alice Tully Hall. He is also an alumni of the Perlman Music Program, as well as the New York String Orchestra Seminar and National Youth Orchestra-USA.
Juhl began playing the violin with his mother at age four and switched to the viola at age 15. A former student of Viktor Basis, Toby Appel and Bela Horvath, he has studied with Carol Rodland at the Juilliard School. Graduating from the Juilliard, Sean Juhl became a member with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in 2022.
Pianist An Yu is a piano faculty member at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
