@@tolokoure305 I was looking for the same answer and I talked to Dell on live chat and they said Ryzen processors are used for gaming. Intel are more on the web browsing doing spreadsheets and doing everything else on a P.C. hope this helps in some way 🙂 I had Ryzen 5 in my ASUS I'm not a P.C. gamer and couldn't really tell the difference to be honest.

The maximum I think is 16gb but don't know if that's to do with any if the processors so it could be 32gb for the i5/i7 and 16gb for Razor 5 version. Also SSD can be upgraded to 2TB laptop can take a second SSD as well but not to sure on the storage side.
I really liked this laptop. It is one of the best laptop in this price range considering its color accuracy, stereo speakers and the screen brightness. Also, the laptop have a metal chassis on the top. I wish I can buy one 😍
Great Review! Went super in-depth, and the performance blew me away! 4K video editing/gaming was something I did not expect, and I presume the AMD version would be even better. Personally, I'm looking more to a 13" Inspiron, but was a bit concerned about the build quality and screen, and it seems that it's pretty good. Instant Sub!

The 15" version also has the 100% srgb screen! I bought it, the Dell Inspiron 5515 Ryzen 5 5500U. I expected the bad screen others have, but I was shocked to see the 100% srgb screen!

I gave my grand-daughter a HP Pavillion 4 years ago, but the track pad and battery are on their last leg, so she asked me for a new laptop, 14" like her last one. She's entering the 8th grade this year, and will only be using it for Word/Powerpoint/Excel apps and watching UA-cam/Netflix, but being an EE, there's no way I would buy her a junk computer. So, I got her a Dell Inspiron 14^ 5410 with a 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 Processor, 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. (Meanwhile, I'm eying either buying or building a desktop for myself to feed my Blender 3D interests. Right now I'm torn between going with a Nvidia GE Force RTX 3090 or a Nvidia RTX 4000, i9-11900K build). I'll give it to her next week and help her get it set up properly. I appreciate your review, giving me warm fuzzies that I selected a good, solid laptop for my grand-daughter, that will serve her needs/interests for at least another 4 years. Thanks.

This laptop is great. All the inspirons I have owned have been good to me so I will always support Dells Inspirons as long as they continue with the quality. High quality laptop comparable to an XPS but much cheaper.
Love the spec and design. I definitely would consider getting this laptop some day when I can afford it. Love it's color brilliance and sound quality, it is a top priority for my needs. Although I would to see an improved webcam and also a 4k video editing spec. SOULTech well done ✅✅✅✅✅

Yes, I just bought mine too and the dell person said there's this new system thing that makes it like that for convenience, so you don't have to press the power button everytime.
bought my first Dell today online, very disappointed its display color range, comparing to my current 2-3 laptops display (even quite old model). How do your laptop lasts that long, can you give me some tips. Mine never lasted for more than 3-4 hours and I am not even doing any stuff battery heavy. It does charge fast don't get me wrong. There is no way it is because of the software because I have updated it, the battery is all fine too. Plus I find myself putting it in battery saver mode all the time.

The Dell spec sheet lists two possible display options and the inspiron 14 5000 series in the past have had the crappy 250 nit version. Just want to know what to expect with mine.
Hey great questions, depending on the region you are in Dell has 2 versions of this display, the one shown here is the 300 nits %100 sRGB WSA display. The other one is the 250 nits variant. Some regions are giving it as a configurable option for an extra price. Here in Canada it only comes with the higher end option.

ideapad is like a tablet honestly you should get thinkpad instead of that, but considering your choices ideapad is light whereas dell inspiron is abit heavy so idk both r great im buying dell soon tho!

This is one of the kindest thing's I have heard since I started honestly. It's nice to know people who I've never had the privileged of meeting genuinely mean well for me, thank you! With that said to answer your question, I do buy some of the laptops you see on the review, in those cases I either re-sell them at a lesser value and make back the vast majority of what I spent, in some cases I am able to return the product within the return policy. Most manufactures do not mind this as I am indirectly spreading awareness of their products. In other cases I actually borrow the new purchases off friends, colleges and family who don't mind me unboxing and reviewing before I return it back to them. It can defiantly get tiring some weeks between my day job and making HQ videos, but I really like making these videos and I tend to be at my best when I am under pressure! With that said I do need to take a break every now and then to avoid burnout, I really appreciate your concern.
Great Review, you deserve atleast 100k Subscribers. Actually I want to Purchase its i3 Model so will there be any Problem in its Thermal part as I have read Lot of reviews about it. And 1 more thing that What is your Windows 10 or 11. And should I buy Windows 11 or 10
given the i3 is running at a lower wattage It should run cooler than these models. I would go with windows 10, you can always upgrade to Windows 11 later on. Just in case windows 11 has issues early on its better to wait a little before getting it.
What do you think of the dell inspiron 14 5418 with the 11th generation i7 chip. And what is the battery life of that variant as I find it difficult to find. I’m guessing it’s similar to this one?

@@austintien5090 honestly the jump from i5 to i7 is marginal in most cases but the jump from 8 to 16gb ram is visible. Configure the i5 with 16gb ram if you get the option.

Hi thanks for your feedback. My reviews are geared towards the end user experience rather than technical numbers with that said I believe there are some bench marks for this laptop on google.
I have this computer and the only downside is the mediocre touchpad gestures. I cannot describe the frustration and pain that this laptop's touchpad has given me. Clicks don't register, and scrolling up or down with two fingers can cause it to glitch out and switch your windows. As I am typing this I am experiencing this. The touchpad is not ruined, it simply has poor touchpad controls and I've tried to disable the causes of the glitching and window-switching but there is no such option. DO NOT buy this laptop if you don't have a mouse. This is a desk laptop and only that. It is not a "watch Netflix in bed" laptop.
This or Inspiron 5415 ryzen 5 varient, Ryzen varient GPU integration is problematic n display is also less colour accurate and wifi 5 which is downgrade to this intel varient. Which one will you recommend intel varient or ryzen varient? I'm really confused

Which one is better to buy Dell Inspiron 14 or hp 14s ? Little confusion...
What do you think of the dell inspiron 14 5418 with the 11th generation i7 chip. And what is the battery life of that variant as I find it difficult to find. I’m guessing it’s similar to this one?
Can the battery be replaced if needed for this laptop? Cheers.
The dell 5415 with ryzen 5 is a great laptop. But it comes with wifi 5 (dell downgraded from wifi 6). Do you recommend this one - 5410 with intel?

The laptop is great, my advise it to get a external 1080p or 4K USB webcam and just mount it to the laptop. Its a great machine otherwise.

Hey Shahpar, do you prefer the Acer Swift 3 or the Dell Inspiron 5410? The Inspiron is on sale right now, $600 for the i5-11300 8gb model and $800 for the i7 16gb ram model.
I would take the Dell 5410 in a heartbeat for the 16gb config. The Swift 3 is great as well but the Dell does outperform it IMO.

@@austintien5090 honestly the jump from i5 to i7 is marginal in most cases but the jump from 8 to 16gb ram is visible. Configure the i5 with 16gb ram if you get the option.

Hi thanks for your feedback. My reviews are geared towards the end user experience rather than technical numbers with that said I believe there are some bench marks for this laptop on google.
I have this computer and the only downside is the mediocre touchpad gestures. I cannot describe the frustration and pain that this laptop's touchpad has given me. Clicks don't register, and scrolling up or down with two fingers can cause it to glitch out and switch your windows. As I am typing this I am experiencing this. The touchpad is not ruined, it simply has poor touchpad controls and I've tried to disable the causes of the glitching and window-switching but there is no such option. DO NOT buy this laptop if you don't have a mouse.
This is a desk laptop and only that. It is not a "watch Netflix in bed" laptop.

Ryzen varient GPU integration is problematic n display is also less colour accurate and wifi 5 which is downgrade to this intel varient.

Hey man I'm having trouble deciding between this dell Inspiron 14 (i7 11370H, 16GB ram, 512 GB SSD) for $1049.99 and the Asus zenbook 14 With the same specs except it's i7 1165G7 rather than the 11370H that the dell has. The Asus is also $200 more. What do you think about this? It will really help me out
Go for dell. I have the same dell inspiron i7 16gb ram 512 gb ssd and my boyf has asus zenbook 14 i7 and blah blah. His laptop's battery sux. and now he's buying macbook lol. so don't buy asus. It anyway very heavy

Acer Swift 3 if you want just as good w display. If performance is more important the IdeaPad 3 11th gen Intel is great too!
