@@shyamadasi9489 You can tell by 5 different signs on this watch. 1. The function pointer jumps between the modes, it should move more slowly and smoothly. 2. It has a very tinny sounding beep, that's difficult to understand though. 3. There's a screen protector on it. Casio never put screen protectors on a real watch. 4. The caseback is too deep. It's protruding far more than a real watch. 5. The plastic sheet with the red line is never on a G-Shock, it is always without plastic, only Chinese companies do that. Apart from that the compass is all over the place. It's not working correctly at all. My only advice would be to never buy a G-Shock from eBay or a second hand site. There's a 70% chance you will get a fake. They put photos of the real one and send a fake one. Only buy from an authorised dealer. The tragedy is that some pay the full retail price for fake watches, but if it's very well priced you can be 100% sure it's a fake watch. Before I bought I checked all the UA-cam videos on spotting a fake, and decided then to buy from a reputable seller.
I just wanted to add that I started having this problem after I took several long fights in the last few weeks. Not sure if that had anything to do with why the calibration was off, but this definitely fixed the issue, thanks.
Hi. So the reason for issue is in your question. You travel in planes. But for that you need to pass through security. Security section has magnetic in it and also X-ray readers have that too. This is the main reason that your caliberation spoils.
The mall enterance machines also does the same.
Try spinning it on your fingers or giving it a nice throw. That will calibrate the compass too on your fake Mudmaster. 🤣👍🏻
Yes, it was very obvious, but I won't laugh, a lot of inexperienced people are fooled by these fakes. There were so many indicators from the protruding caseback, the plastic sticker and screen protector, the jumping function wheel and that compass was going all over the place! 😀

My friend, you had a fake G-Shock there. 1 the function indicator is jumping between functions. It should rotate more slowly. 2. The beep sound is all wrong. 3 The case back protrudes out too much. 4. A real G-Shock never has a sticker with the red line on the back. 5. There's a screen protector on the watch. There is never a screen protector on a real G-Shock. That's a Chinese fake thing. Maybe you didn't know it at the time, but as soon as I heard you push the mode button I knew, and confirmed by the caseback.

That's the dumbest way to calibrate the compass....u dont rotate a watch in a circle vertical....the compass is always rotated horizontally in a 180° to perfectly calibrate it😑

This was painful to watch.The calibration method is wrong. Read the manual. The compass is affected by magnetic fields, not gravity. Non-sense. Why post a video if you don't know what you're talking about?

Two things...
1) This is a fake G-Shock. I'm sorry for you.
2) This is not the way to calibrate the compass at all. Read below, or look at the manual.
When the up arrow flashes, hold it flat (eg. 12 pointing away from you) and press the compass button until it says OK and shows a flashing down arrow. Then, rotate the watch horizontally 180 degrees (eg. 6 pointing away from you) and press the compass button again. Once it says OK second time, you are good to go.

Yeah it's fake the main reason if you see the back side it is bulging too much a real g shock has a minor bulge in the back stainless steel battery section. The compass motion is also a fake one.

This G-Shock GG1000 is a fake watch. The small dial in the original watch moves very slow not so fast like this one & in the back the back cover of this watch is also very curved and has a sticker which dosent comes with the original one.
Also this black wheel (small dial as u named it) should move counter clockwise from "time" spot to "comp" spot. Back should not protruding so much as in this fake watch. 100% counterfeit.

First check to see if hands will set - hold 10 oclock button til "H SET" appears at 8 oclock window. It should go to 12 immediately.

According to many videos your watch is a counterfeit it seems. Yer back plate has the sticker with the red line and sticks out more like a bubble and yer function dial moves fast too. I hear the fakes are close but not as accurate as an original

I was hoping this video would fix the issue when I first got the watch I would press compass and it would go to 12 for north now it is telling me number five is north I can’t get it to fix

Don't listen to this guy when the arrow is blinking you spend to watch a 180ﾟ yes then you push the compass button then once the arrow blinks and says OK you spend it back around a 180ﾟ that will complete it to 360 you don't take the phone and flip it upside down because the arrow says go down he doesn't know what hes talking about.
