@@nategorsline3179 nope, but I did the EGR adaptation and recently, I unplugged the vacuum hose to it and plugged it to kill it altogether. No issues with doing that. 👍🏻
@@nategorsline3179 you need VCDS to do it. Basically it turns down the amount the EGR cycles to keep things cleaner in the intake. Technically it's a "off road" adaptation. 😉 This was for the ALH engine, btw. Its a way to keep the soot down while keeping the intake stock without having to mess around with putting in a race pipe.
Looks like some cool upgrades, but my 03 Jetta sedan auto has no upgrades and looks like it is faster than this one? This one looked slow in the video?
The owner wasn't flooring it, we were in a small, rough parking lot with holes and cracks everywhere. I just wanted to show the car while it was running

i just got one of these today, my family's old 2005 2.0L GL in blue for $3,000! it's my first car and i'm so excited to drive it
Awesome man!
Make sure you replace the timing belt and water pump if it's never been done!
Fun to drive these small diesels
Jenko mentioned as substituting for the jack ?? Jenko??
Weight reduction (it's a joke)
Nice rig. I have the same vehicle. What model of BMW are the headlines from? They look great.
Cheers!
Doug
They're just "BMW style" halo headlights. How this helps🤙🏼
Cheers! 😊
Cheers! 😊
My mostly stock ALH has over 712K km on it now. 👍🏻
Right on!
Did you remove the egr

Car has literally twice the power from stock…
if you do the ventectomy you will get 17 gallons in the tank
The gas door!! Yisssssssss
Love it
with about a 14 gallon tank on my gti, i get like 200miles RIP i also dont drive super economically tho
Where are the wheels and headlights from? I need those. =)
The wheels are Rotiform LAS-R and the headlights I'm pretty sure are spec-d
The most milage Ive gotten from my 03 tdi wagon in one tank was 670miles
Baller🤙🏼
Put a big turbo on it . It deserves it
It had an upgraded hybrid turbo already. The owner hasn't replaced the head studs yet so the boost was lifting the head off the block
What turbo?? If it's not 22/62 or a holeset 55 u need a bigger turbo lol what kind of power. Any cams bigger injectors ? Who you got as a tuner ?
